Dear diary, yesterday I went to visit my grandparents which was lovely because I’ve not seen them for a while and I always enjoy a good catch up.

We spoke about my time in Italy and I shown them loads of holiday photo and videos, and we discussed their previous holidays that they could remember.

On the drive home, my brother and I decided to stop at mc Donald’s for some dinner.

Whilst in the drive thru my car engine light came on for a second and I thought I will check it once we get through to the car park but within 1 minute my car made a load bang and loads of white smoke/steam came pouring out from under the hood.

It was so embarrassing because the drive thru was very busy. A kind man got out of his car and helped us to push the car through to the car park.

We had to wait 3 hours for the breakdown company to turn up and they explained that my thermostat housing had exploded 🤯 I had never even heard of it before. Anyway he took my car to a garage and today I have found out it’s going to cost me £416.21 for repairs.

Why do I always have such bad luck with cars 🤦🏻‍♀️

So I have applied to 4 second jobs. Let’s hope I hear back from one of them and i retrieved my car today, however it has a flat tyre 😪

But only good things can come my way so I’m staying positive, keeping my head up high and sending out positive vibes ✌🏻

Today I managed to insure my car for £715 instead of over £1000 and I started to apply for a second job.

My to do list is getting shorter. There’s nothing more satisfying than crossing off those tasks 😁

So after spending 3 months in Italy with my amazing boyfriend I am finally back in the uk, with a long list of things I need to do before going back to work.

Search for an apartment

Move and Insure my car

Arrange doctors appointments

Apply for a second job

Apply for a credit card

I went to cross one of those things of my list today and see what condition my car is in after leaving it for 3 months in my (recently passed) grandmas garage.

Luckily the battery didn’t die and the car started straight away however, someone is parked across the driveway and blocking me in, and according to the neighbours in the area the owner of the car has gone on holiday 😪

I hope I don’t have to wait long to retrieve my car 😪

I’m looking for a one bedroom furnished apartment so that my boyfriend can come from Italy to live with me in the uk.

Im very excited for this. I hope I can find the perfect place that I can comfortably afford. A place to call my own.

Today I went to my Aunt Anns funeral.

It was very sad.

I feel really badly for my uncle. He has lost his mum, wife and dog these past few months. He looked like a lost soul today.

It’s times like this where you grow to appreciate the people around you more and more because the reality is, everyone has to die someday.
