Week 13

This is the final week of the project and it has lead us to re pick up the printed books - handed in the digital submissions and our designed exegesis

Problems with binding

During the shoot we found the binding was not very good, it was falling apart and was not a nice paper grain. This was really frustrating as the binding was really expensive so we sent an email with photos and we got an email back saying they would re print them for free as they had a less experienced binder

These were my different ideas for the infographics and I decided to go with the top one as I liked the hierarchy and I like the balance of the shapes with type

Feedback :

The white boxes look a bit harsh. You definitely need more padding/bigger margins within the white boxes which you can adjust with "Text frame options". you could also consider things like the map sitting directly on the background and even seeing what happens if your white boxes are slightly opaque. With the numbers on the faces maybe i would consider less of an overlap so you can still see some of the face but you have that nice layered look. For your body copy be sure to use space after and space before to show the gaps between paragraphs, I would consider using a lighter font for body copy and also testing left align to see what looks best.

Decisions - I choose to listen to the comments and do get a fresh idea I decided to start my document from scratch and change the colours and the lay out of the infographics side and expsically poster side
