hc 7x06 at the bachelor party buck has his arm around eddie’s shoulders and they’re singing and drinking and buck leans in and places a quick kiss to the side of eddie’s head and goes back to laughing and singing but eddie does a double take and, dazed, realises what just happened and just stares at buck for a few moments before buck looks at him again with this huge grin on his face and then eddie has to plaster a smile back on his face but for some reason he can’t stop thinking about buck’s lips pressing into his skin for far too short of a moment and how he desperately wants it to happen again

We have been putting our detective hats on in the discord and we're pretty sure there's either a promotion(s) happening or a commendation ceremony. Possibly the Intrepid Helicopter Crew getting commended (would account for Lou being in this scene) OR Bobby/Hen being promoted.

that definitely makes the most sense!!! I think it's likely something Bobby-related given what we know about him getting a bigger storyline in the back half of the season. Hen would also make sense since her entire family is attending. I figure Tommy could just be there as Buck's date lol but yeah maybe something to do with all of them! I would love to see them get more story out of the fall-out of the helicopter rescue like that one post about them becoming poster children for the LAFD and the current chief's ambitions.

The thing about Buck is that everyone wants a piece but nobody wants all of him, and the thing about Eddie is that he has a hard time wanting something with all of himself but that’s how much he wants Buck, and the thing about Buck is that he never knows what he wants or makes his own choices but he always chooses Eddie, and the thing about Eddie is that he only makes choices that are for the benefit of other people except he chose Buck for himself
