1,000 days ago exactly (Sep 18, 2022) I watched Mamma Mia and Mamma Mia 2 back to back and instantly became insane about ABBA. As of today, I have listened to ABBA for over 36,000 minutes on Spotify alone (not counting YouTube or Amazon music or CDs or vinyl).
My second highest artist is George Strait at 15k minutes and I’d been listening to him since I was still in school. I don’t know what ABBA did to me. Why did I become insane about them? Why are they still my top artist month after month? I’ve been enchanted by these old Swedes. I can’t escape. I don’t want to escape. I love them so much
If ABBA has no obsessed fans, I am dead
