Anyone else seen that comic/tiktok (?) where it’s kirishima going “happy birthday bakubro!” and he and todoroki give a blindfolded bakugo a tied up Midoriya? Like… I don’t know what anime y’all watched but the intensity of physical nausea I received from reading it was substantial

Mini-Comic: The Haircut!
Once again we spend some time with 25-year-old Charlie and 26-year-old Nick… plus Daisy! I really hope you enjoy this mini-comic!
read from the beginning / read on tapas / read on webtoon / my art blog / my personal blog / art instagram / heartstopper merch / read the next update early on Patreon!
Charlie, a highly-strung, openly gay over-thinker, and Nick, a cheerful, soft-hearted rugby player, meet at a British all-boys grammar school. Friendship blooms quickly, but could there be something more…?
Nick and Charlie are characters from my debut novel, Solitaire. Heartstopper updates three times a month, on the 1st, 11th, and 21st.
I really appreciate reblogs and shares - please help me spread word about this comic! I’m so excited for people to read it!

Today a kid in class said “skibidi toilet tonight! Skibidi skibidi rizz” so I deadpanned “you seem chronically online” and just when the remorse for insulting a child set in they went “nah I’m not online that often” and I kid you not THEY GRITTY-ED AWAY

My favorite feedback I’ve gotten from students:
On group work:
- I don’t like working with people… but you did fine (6/10, funny but also sad)
- I liked getting a break from yapping (3/10, rude)
- Don’t like groups more than 3 people (9/10, specific, helpful for future groups, not entirely convinced this wasn’t a teacher)
On my teaching:
- Slides lowkey ate (1000/10, best response)
- I liked learning about wars 😈 (6/10, minus points because I’m concerned)
- I liked when you joked with us sometimes instead of being completely professional and square (8/10, that was my intention so I’m glad it worked)
- kinda dry (7/10, fair)
- kinda boring (3/10, be more original)
- uhhh I wish I could be on my phone (1/10, plus one point for the courage to write it but minus nine for the vibes)
Advice for me:
- liven up (not in a mean way) (7/10, also fair)
- You did you’re best. (-2/10, no advice, incorrect your, and passive aggressive period :’))
- let us sleep (9/10, also fair)
- have a paragraph ready with what you’re going to say (10/10, good advice, 😀 this one crushed me)

I’m gonna pitch a show as “like Game of Thrones but even more gritty and realistic” and then it’s nothing but a baron handling land estimates and organizing road repairs and stuff. There’ll be an entire episode about how a peasant gets brought to court for letting milk cattle graze on communal pastureland even though it’s supposed to be reserved for draft animals.

Charlie: Who’s on the phone?
Bella: Edward from school.
Charlie: Edward from school? At three in the morning? *takes phone* Who is this?
Edward: It’s Edward... from school?
Charlie: Oh really? What are you wearing, “Edward from school?”
Edward: Uh... khakis

i love studying. i love writing. i love reading. i love learning languages. i love doing mathematics. i love wandering over some particular sum and trying to come up with formulas to solve it. i love physics. i love biology. i love chemistry. i love history. i love literature. i love learning.
not to achieve the perfect grades ever. but it just amazes me that there's so much to know and learn and write and read about in the universe. my curiosity wouldn't get enough of it.
