My name is Abedmajed, and I live in Gaza with what remains of my once large and loving family.

In a single missile strike, we lost over 25 members of our family. They were not just names. They were mothers, daughters, sons, grandparents — people we shared meals with, laughed with, and built dreams with.

The missile hit our family home — the heart of everything we knew.

I want you all to understand something. Take pictures of these cops and military personnel at these protests. Close pictures. Their uniforms, their tattoos, their clothes, their voices. Take pictures of these Trump supporters, too. Copy their tweets, posts, and sound bites. Save them somewhere. Write their names down. From your families and friends to governors and senators. Everyone. Save newspaper clippings with the dates on them. Write down everything, and then hide them. Print physical copies and hide them. Because when this all comes to an end, and it will, they will try to evade persecution. They will lie and rewrite history to save face. Don’t let them. Don’t forgive.
