A low effort sideblog for Colin Firth edits/gifs as I sweep through his entire filmography. Because why not?

not really a question, just saying thank you so much for running this blog!! ive been waiting for an active colin firth gifs blog and you’re like a blessing on my timeline everytime i see a post from you :-) i really appreciate all the little doses of colin as im doing my daily scrolling
i guess since this is an ask i should probably add something fun to reply to, so heres some little qs:
do you have a favorite firth film? if so which one?
favorite firth tv show/miniseries/etc?
which firth project would you say is really underrated and would like to recommend to people?
favorite firth character?
Thank you! I know his fandom is a bit dead over here in Tumblr compared to X, but I just started this blog because I enjoy making gifs and just thought I'd share to the handful of Firthers over here. I'm glad you appreciate them! Also, thank you for the questions, these are fun!
do you have a favorite firth film? if so which one? Ah man, this one is getting more difficult to answer now that I'm about halfway through his filmography. It still comes down to Valmont and The Importance of Being Earnest. Both very different, obviously, but I tend to rewatch those the most.
favorite firth tv show/miniseries/etc? ... Pride and Prejudice... 'nuff said.
which firth project would you say is really underrated and would like to recommend to people? Honestly, it's Valmont if you're intrigued by characters that are a balance of horrible and deadly charming. Also, it's just a great film in general. If that's not definably underrated enough, maybe The Hour of the Pig/The Advocate? It was honestly a great performance by Colin and the plot was very interesting? Apartment Zero, for the same reasons.
favorite firth character? I won't say either of the Darcys, since that's too obvious, so... Probably Jack Worthing (Earnest). I tend to fall for his characters that are just goofy because I think it's comedic timing is great. Also, he's just squishable in it. (if we're talking purely about lust then ben lucas with all of his red flags...............)

When I lean into the mic and say 'Colin Firth', I do in fact mean Colin Firth at his oldest and chubbiest. Don't test me.
