I know that this doesn't match up to everything I've said in the past few months, but Logan and Jake Paul have accepted JJ's challenge. I'm honestly rooting for JJ.

I know what I’ve said before about JJ and honestly, after seeing the fight and hearing TrueGeordie’s comments on Jj as a person, my image of him has changed. Obviously, I can’t forget all the bad things he’s done, but right now I can also see how hard he works.

He works his butt of for the things he believes in. He will do anything to prove others wrong. He also knows when he’s made a mistake. He isn’t afraid to admit that he was wrong.

Especially after seeing him and Joe hug afger fight and Jj’s “speech” about mental healthness and about not being alone and about not giving up, THAT has honestly made me see that he’s not the guy he wants us to think he is. I think that, like many others have already said, he is playing a character. He’s not villain. He just wants us to see him like that. Sad thing, in my opinion, because I do believe that he can bring even more to his viewers. But he probably has his reasons for it that we will never know/understand.

Anyway, fantastic fight, respect for both Joe en JJ and also massive respect for the other fighters tonight!

I was wrong.

Well, JJ did what he set out to do. Congrats to him and lots of respect--he proved to the world that he isn't just talk. That has to count for something, regardless of my thoughts on him and his behavior the past few months.

My heart breaks for Joe. But they both fought a fair fight. Best to both of them.

The Fight

The huge fight is today. My hope is that Joe Weller will humble JJ, but this is too close to call. Both men haven proven themselves to take this extremely seriously. If JJ loses, it’ll be a huge embarrassment. As much as I dislike him, I don’t want this to ruin his career. Nor do I want this to ruin Weller’s. I hope they settle the beef after this lbvs.

y'all I’m just saying that I didn’t really have an opinion about the joe vs. jj fight… but i just watched the press conference, and honestly?? I fucking hope joe wins bc jj was so immature and cocky (which is fully his brand), but it just shows a lot about his true colors as a person!!

I don’t know if I want JJ to win or lose this fight. I want him to win because he’s obviously trained really well for this and I’m more of a ‘fan’ of him than Joe so I obviously dont want to see him get fucked up but if he loses this fight then it will definitely knock him down a peg or two which he needs. If he loses after all he’s been chatting it will be VERY embarrassing.

For real. As much as I’m rooting for Joe Weller, I wouldn’t want JJ to get killed and vice versa. 

I’m almost finished watching JJ’s interview with Geordie and the word ‘kill’ has come up way to many times for my liking. The aim isn’t to kill him JJ, chill out

The fight's in a month...

If I bet money today, I would not know who to bet to. Joe Weller is quite an accomplished fighter, dedicated to his routine, and is fighting through a knee injury that couldn't have come at a worse time. At the same token, JJ--as much as I've given him shit in the past--has stepped up his game when it's come to training. He's taken all of it seriously, for better or worse. His body has become a behemoth of energy.

I think JJ has a fair shot at winning this. As much as I'd like to see him get proven wrong for the terrible shit he said around September or so, his regimen appears to be no joke. It will be very close. Thoughts? Other opinions?

as someone who has been diagnosed with depression and has been struggling with it on and off for four years i have to say that jj fucked up this time. forget the snaking of friends, forget the hypocrisy - i was over it, its all fake anyways. but making fun of mental health issues? thanks jide, you have no idea how fun it is to see your former favourite youtuber make fun of someone for being depressed. fucking disgusting.
