His fingers tapped on his cane, looking at the king with hooded eyes, "If you want to make things interesting, we can do a bit of a predator versus prey scenario. You can pick whomever you want to be, and I'll comply."

Catriona quickly hid behind Lucifer, whimpering a bit as her eyes grew dark, "I'm done running; I'll tear him bit by bit until there's nothing left."

Catriona looked between the two. Her tail curling nervously as she daw the pair raising their voices. Dove stood her ground, her voice trembling a bit, "Please...I can't bear the the thought if something happens to you...."

As if she could sense his urgency, Tamara finally released the imo from her grasp. The mute hellhound curled into a tight ball, mumbling in her sleep with a tiny huff.

A few hours later, Krix groaned through clenched teeth as he wriggled like a trapped ferret in a hoodie. “T, come on…” he hissed, half-whining now as Tamara’s grip only seemed to tighten with each squirm.

“Let go, let go, please let go,” he muttered urgently,

eyes wide as his bladder gave another warning squeeze. “Don’t make me piss myself, Tamara, we just started bonding!”

One leg was halfway off the couch, his body twisted like a pretzel as he tried to shimmy free without waking her—or worse, causing a tail nibble relapse...

A small yawn escapes her maw, nuzzling her nose into his chest with a few thumps of her tail.

Nothing could wake this girl.

Krix flashed Sasuke a lazy peace sign as the old man turned to go. “What? No kiss for me?” he called out with mock offense, raising his brows and smirking. “Damn, I’m hurt. Offended, even.”

He leaned back a little more, voice dropping to a sarcastic mutter, “Guy cuddles you once, helps you shower, feeds you gumbo, and suddenly he’s too good for a goodnight kiss.”

Still, there was a tiny—almost imperceptible—smile tugging at the corners of his mouth as he settled in again, glancing down at Tamara curled up against him.

“…Weird family,” he muttered to himself.

Fredeline tugs at Lucifer's pant leg, making grabby hands and flashing those big eyes of hers, "Uppies!"

The last time Lucifer dealt with a toddler was Charlie, and that was over two centuries ago... which is maybe not all that long for someone like Lucifer, but apparently still long enough to almost forget that toddlers have more energy than the Energizer Bunny. (He is familiar with some Earth things.)

At least David is willing to help him out here... what kid doesn't love pancakes with shapes! Actually, Lucifer is about as entertained by the shapes as the kid.

He brushes his lips on his knuckles, chuckling with amusement at the the question, "I don't see the harm in that; about roughly $50,000."

Alphonse offered the spider demon his arm, his head tilting to one side, "Shall we go, darling?"
