So in the special edition of Journal 3 we learn that Bill was actually able to go into Ford’s mind and manipulate his vocabulary, and I was just thinking to myself that there was some great angst potential right there. I guess this comic works under the assumption that Ford says the wrong things, but still hears the right ones.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

P.S. This is also meant to take place in the same Better World dimension as this comic, and might go some way to explain why the Stans never managed to make up in that timeline.

GKR - highly devoted to their respective jobs with as little deviation from the set plan as possible

GMR - tied in some way to scientists that want to conduct some unethical biological experiments that seemingly become bloodthirsty

KMR - openly sings about how the player was a net positive in their lives, albeit for a small bit of time

GKMR - A.I. that initially appears as helpful and/or friendly and latches onto the first human they see in a while; gets in over their head with the amount of power or lack thereof they have and strings the player along to serve their ulterior motives by deviating from their initial programming to do things with which they aren't authorized; comes clean after enough people die and presents a scenario where the player will be stuck with them indefinitely until one of them dies or fulfills the main goal; sings a song in the credits where they unload their feelings about the player

Gaia is a camp counselor at the summer scouts, who also was once a camper herself as a teenager. She was apart of Group North, along with two other girls she was especially close with, named Hecate and Circe. They all promised on going along with the devil once they had to face off with her. However, when the time actually came for them to live up to these promises, Gaia realized she isn’t as strong as she thought she was. She still wanted to fight against her deepest desires, and continue living in fear.

The first to transform was Circe; a carefree girl damaged by her existence, willing to break free of the shackles that this miserable humanity has kept on her. Betraying her trust, Gaia attempted to defeat her by using her radio, but ultimately failed with being the only one fighting the will of the devil.

Hecate turned next, exhausted from trying to be “good” when she always fails, and holding onto impossible hopes. Gaia continued to try and brawl with them, but instead became confused when the devil didn’t fight back. They let her have this choice, bidding her goodbye with a final reminder— she will regret this. She will yearn for them, and the devil, even stronger than before. She will hear them in gusts of winds or under the sticky summer heat. They will plague her thoughts, because not only is the devil within her, but it is also all around her, and it will never leave. Gaia chased them out into the forest, begging them to stay until she was at the edges of the camp’s terrain, about to enter the hallway. They disappeared into the moonlit night.

Staying at the camp all these years later, whether to prove something or to punish herself, is the biggest mistake she’s ever made. Hell is lapping at her heels, no matter how much she prays or how many young souls she “saves”. Only one stands against the devil, because now there’s two of them, and they aren’t as forgiving.
