O Allah, whatever action or word brings me closer to Your pleasure, draw me to it; and whatever leads me to Your wrath, turn me away from it, and grant me patience towards it, and carry me through it, O Most Merciful of the merciful

When Allāh is truly adored, several matters come into immediate effect:

– When in a state of worship, one’s entire focus is on His Magnificence. He stands before him, whether in units of prayer, a portion of Qur’ān that is recited, or any other matter.

– When alone, the opportunity is seized to call upon Him in ways which would have been more challenging in the public domain, craving those lone moments with Allāh.

– When using social media or making any public appearance of some sort, one will ensure that one never plays a role in snatching away adoration or obsession from Allāh for oneself. For example they will not purposely present themselves in a seductive way, as they would hate to be the reason why eyes and hearts would be taken away from Allāh and redirected to them instead. He who recognises Allāh and adores Him will find himself utilising every opportunity to cast attention away from himself and to direct it to where it belongs – Allāh. Such a person has experienced the joy of adoring Allāh, and thus wants others to do so as well.

– When disobedience takes places in front of him, his heart tears in pain and sheer confusion at how Allāh was not glorified and adored at that moment, just as the Prophet (sall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam) once said to a man who had accidently spoken inappropriately about Allāh:

ويحك ، أتدري ما الله

“Woe to you! Do you know what Allāh is?!” Sunan Abī Dāwūd,

Learn who you are.

Unlearn who they told you to be.

Figure out who you want to be.

maybe... just maybe,

you’re only one heartfelt du'a away from everything you've been praying for.

With every struggle Allah shapes your personality for the better. With every hardship Allah carves you into a better human being. With every challenge Allah makes you a stronger person. With every stream of tears that flow Allah makes you a softer person. Every difficulty that you go through has a well defined purpose. Trust Allah and Trust his process. He is with You all along the way.

< A sincere repentance >

And when you find yourself buckling under the weight of your sins , whisper to your Lord in true repentance. Indeed , Allah is greater than your troubled heart .Thus , seek his mercy with humble sincerity.

A person is granted tranquility through frequently turning to God

[siiidq]

Take charge of my affairs with Your gentleness, and encompass me with Your mercy and generosity

[siiidq]

And if you were to count the Blessings of Allāh, never would you be able to enumerate them.

Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal رحمه الله said:

إن أحببت أن يدوم الله لك على ما تحب، فدم له على ما يحب.

If you would like that Allah keeps you persistent upon that which you love, then be persistent upon that which He loves.
