I've got pectus excavatum, which is a condition in which my sternum caves inwards and pushes against my heart and lungs, and while it's often scary because I'm worried about my health, as a cardiophile I loooove how I can always feel my heart pounding and struggling against my chest, and how it's way more visible than for the average person. All I have to do is take off my shirt and look at the waves it makes on my chest, each valve so clearly visible. Even as I type this, I can feel each beat rattling my sternum. I just had to share that <3
