Radqueer is inherently pro-consent and anti-abuse
Recently, I decided to hunt down the initial radqueer coining posts and compile the archive links to establish a timeline of the term evolving. But whilst doing so and noting the difference between each post and edit, I realized something.
I've mentioned before that a lot of radqueers have infact not read the initial coining posts that define our community and choose to see radqueer as only "pro para pro transid" - which it is not. It has several layers that go beyond that and the recent consent/abuse discourse has highlighted that.
Because, in the original coining post, the coiner states that it's not okay to act on harmful attractions, which is something that only becomes more clear overtime.
Tumblr media
this doesn’t mean it’s okay to act on harmful attractions, it’s just the inclusion and acknowledgement because of their inherent queerness
And this focus on non-harmful actions is outlined even more with the Radqueer 1.2 post, made by the original coiner to expand on radqueer philosophy even more.
Tumblr media
Pro-c’s on “potentially harmful paraphilias” (if acted upon) are completely welcomed in the RadQueer community if they stay behaviorally non-offending/non-active.
Debating on contact stances is totally acceptable as long as it doesn’t directly incites to committing offenses
This is the creator of the radqueer term defining what it means to be radqueer two months after the community was established. It is not a recoin, it is not a random post, it is the original coiner.
Radqueer is inherently pro-consent, anti-abuse and anti-offending. And if you do not follow those beliefs, you are not a fucking radqueer.

NEW SONG JUST DROPPED BITCHES
•"chocolate-box girl" by Weevildoing (vocaloid, groomed and looking back on it, from a series of songs about traumatised girls)
°• Some song recommendations for transgroomed/manipulated/abused folx, or generally those who want music about abusive/toxic/manipulative relationships :3 (focusing on like what transgroomed is like for me)
• "hands clean" by Alanis Morisette (90s pop about groomer grooming, and how he just got away with it and kept his metaphorical hands clean)
• "i threw glass at my friend's eyes and now I'm on probation" by Destroy Boys (punk rock, about the complicated feelings of both hating your groomer and wanting to stay with them) (THIS IS SUCH A GOOD SONG LISTEN TO IT PLEASE)
•"i hope you're hungry" by Sodikken ("misery meat" on some platforms) (weirdcore-y, using a nice cannibalism metaphor for letting yourself be abused in a relationship) ("people eater" is like the song that goes with it which is from the POV of the abuser)
•"i miss the misery" by Halestorm (metal/rock/idk genres, about missing the abuse of an abusive relationship)
•"vixen" by Destroy Boys (punk rock, sapphic, "trouble waits for a victim/I wouldn't mind being yours/seduce me, I'll come back for more")
•"all you wanna do" from Six the musical (about being groomed and manipulated multiple times, every time thinking the guy is the right one for you but they all just want to use you + like humour as a coping mechanism??)
•"drown me" by Junie & TheHutFriends (very weird /pos, about being in a toxic relationship but wanting that? Idk how to explain it it's very non-literal, also stuff like "would you like to see my world" "i see why I've never felt this way before".)

hot take, but if you want to take a step back from the community at the moment, then that's your choice and it's perfectly valid. you don't have to stop being radqueer, you can just take a break, or completely leave the community forever if you'd like. you're not any less radqueer, you're not giving up on the community, you're taking care of yourself. if you're planning to leave, i really hope you find folkel who will support you and your identity, and if you don't, always remember you're valid and awesome

Pushing anti-consent pro-rape shitheads out of the Radqueer community
Ask questions. It is SO important to not go in guns blazing, make sure that said person is actually shitty.
Inform. Make posts explaining specific stances (such as xenosatanism), what they mean, their flags/emojicodes and why they're bad. Teach newer radqueers the red flags and what to avoid. Tell your mutuals and friends if they're interacting with one.
Exclude. Block them and ban them from your servers. Blocking doesn't do much, but when the majority of a community has you blocked, it's almost impossible to access that space. It helps to write down URLs or usernames, along with identifying info (carrd or rentry links, for example) so you can remember why.
Deplatform. Report them to Tumblr, to discord, to rq event hosters, report the servers they own and tell others in the community about their actions.
And for the love of God, stick together. We are not strong as individuals, but we can do so much as a community, and to make the change we want to see we need to stand up and do it together.
Push abusers out. Push groomers out. Make it clear that radqueers will not stand for anti-consent rhetoric.

RADIANTQUEER
Tumblr media
I am quite annoyed at what I'm seeing in the radqueer community, so consider this an official alternative Radiantqueer holds all the same values as original radqueer(acceptance of all, including transids, paras, etc.) but has the following alterations; it is strictly proship, anti-abuse, against CP/CSEM, against minor x adult(Note this specifically refers to chrono minor x chrono adult with 3+ year age gaps) and human x animal relationships, anti-zionist, and overall refuses to accept anyone that does genuine, non-consensual harm into the community. Flag is below!

as someone who is a transracial adoptee, as long as diarace people aren't saying they're transracial (due to the confusion it causes primarily), you're all cool in my book. i think we're more similar than different (disconnect with the racial identity we ""should"" have due to whatever factors) and i don't support antis co-opting transracial adoptees' struggles just to dunk on people with different experiences. you all have my support

ok so sorry since i am radqueer myself, but if you want to make a non radqueer transharm term and think it'll improve your life, go for it! Also transIDs aren't inherently radqueer btw, you can use them and not be radqueer :3 (though to be fair most of them are very associated with radqueerness.)
Other specifically non radqueer prefixes as alternatives for trans- exist too, maybe some of them suit you and what you experience? :3
i am the most "almost radqueer" non radqueer being and i hate it

So about blank queer coining post..
Currently I am Transblankqueer as a way to not worry about finding my "perfect" blankqueer match right now, but after seeing some posts about certain blankqueer stuff. I want to throw my thoughts into the ring. Do note that I don't want to get involved into discourse but I think it's important to have this discussion.
Many Blankqueer coining posts actually suck so much. The first thing you will see in a coining post is the flavor text of this stance. Which sometimes is just meaningless fluff! It does not tell me what this stance would stand by if you say "this (blank)queer is about being happy go lucky and laidback", this is not a good introduction and frankly makes me read more pointless words and wasting my energy before reading the more important words I should pay attention to.
Second of all, Many of the pro and anti lists on these post are formatted like garbage and just assumes that the reader knows what that combo of words means. How could someone know that this blankqueer stance is harmful if they just list "Pro Xenosatanists" and not explain what that is or even link to a post explaining what it is.
Also, can I point out how every blankqueer stance lists and touch on different topics? Yes, I know there different beings coining these posts, but it would be nice for there to be a common 'template' or order of how things are listed because then I could quickly find out what's the stance on this particular thing.
There is also so many blankqueer stances it hard to even know what each one stands for and there is more coining post made everyday. Don't expect beings to be updated on the latest news of "this blankqueer stance is harmful because so and so" not everyone is focused on blankqueer stances. Last thing, let's not use likes and/or reblogs on a post to say that's the blog owner's stance. This is a great way to make assumptions too quickly. After all it just take one button press to like a post. Reblogging takes 2 button presses and from my earlier points it can be said that someone reblogging a blankqueer stance could reblog the post without knowing that the stance actually goes against their beliefs.
The best way to know the stance of a blog is to look at the intro post if the blog has one and if they listed out their stance. Since typing up a post is way more involved than a like and a reblog.
There needs to be a serious conversation in this community of how y'all treat and coin blankqueer post. I hope I'm not the first being to bring up my problems with blankqueer as a whole.

Nonsharmed are awesome
Nonhateful are awesome
Nonsparaphiles, particularly the "scary" ones are awesome

my take is that u can respect beings identities and still be uncomfortable interacting with them.. being uncomfortable with someone doesnt have to be a moral declaration, and really it Shouldnt be. one shouldnt let knee jerk discomfort cloud moral judgement, and at the same time, one shouldnt assume someone being uncomfortable with something means they think its a moral wrong.

Also nice, the transID is working so far. I don't get imposter syndrome as much when being ✨sad✨ about that one topic, and I've seen others like me, I also feel a sense of community :3
Yayyy
