Visible symptom of depression in Omegas: nest is a fucking mess they have no energy to clean or organize at all. The mess is distressing them further but it makes them just want to stay in the nest more because it's still a comforting and safe place. Which doesn't really help with the mess at all.

Omegas that aren’t into the cute petite aesthetic, ARE VALID

Omegas who wear spiky collars and techware as opposed to oversized fluffy hoodies, ARE VALID

Omegas who have hobbies like boxing, karate, weightlifting etc, ARE VALID

Omegas who listen to death metal, punk rock, gothic rock, ARE VALID

Omegas with scary/intimidating/punk/goth aesthetics, ARE VALID

not every omega has to have a soft/cuddly/uwu aesthetic. You can be an omega and a fighter, you can be an omega and have scary dog privileges, you can be an omega and not be fluffy and cute.

Omega is an identity, not an aesthetic.

I think soft omegaverse fanfiction is such a comfort to me because it portrays a much more instinctual society. Nobody can completely hide their emotions, or pretend they don’t have instincts, and everyone in their world has to cope with the vulnerability this creates. You carry the scent of your loved ones with you. You don’t have to worry as much that someone doesn’t like you in the same way, or that they’re planning to betray, or that they don’t know how much you love them when everyone’s emotions are in the air. You can sense and influence their emotions in a way that neurodivergent people in particular often struggle with. It means the world to me when I go home after being with a friend and am able to smell them on my clothes.

Hello friends who nest!

Whether you're kin, a regressor, or miscecanis, you might be affected by what I call the nesting season, and want to nest all the time! 🪹

So I decided to make a little post about stuff I like in my nest to maybe give some of you ideas or just some comfiness reading it, because nesting is taking up like 80% of my brain right now- 💚

My essentials are: 🪹 Blankets (the fluffier the better) 🪹 Plenty of pillows 🪹 A tons of plushies 🪹 Orange essential oil on the stuffs 🪹 A cedar or orange candle/incense 🪹 A cosy drink (like coffee with some cinnamon) 🪹 A cosy show or podcast 🪹 Some snacks! (nuts for my crow brain, sweet things for the omega cravings, and sometimes some other stuff personally)

I also like to kidnap my partner in it, but that's not always possible 🥺😞 Please feel free to add on with your nesting essentials! ☕️
