this is my first time posting headcanons on this blog so i’m a lil nervy but i hope u guys enjoy :3 if this pops up in the feed of anyone who isn’t a regressor uhhmmmm. Turn around and forget you ever saw this post.

regresses around ages 2-5

usually involuntarily regresses due to ptsd. he misses his mom so much. :(

eventually nasha picks up on how his behavior changes when he’s upset or tired and asks him about it. which is a really awkward conversation for him at first but of course she’s super supportive.

i’ve said this before and i will say it again. mama nasha. mamanasha…..

such a sleepy guy. always needs naptime. he’s so tuckered out from all of the missions he gets sent on.

tends to get pretty quiet and shy when regressed, mostly just nods or hums rather than talking

grateful about the fact that the whole colony has sippy cups due to zero gravity. god he needs it even when there IS gravity.

veeery picky. no he does NOT wanna eat his cycler paste.

so clingy. do not leave that poor boy alone.

i’d imagine it’s pretty tricky to get toys on niflheim, but if there are any in storage on the colony nasha absolutely finds a way to steal some for him

tends to prefer sensory toys over pretend play, things like soft plushies, rattles, and crinkly toys are his favorite

big tummy time enjoyer. just let him lay on the floor and watch baby sensory videos for hours.

loves to be read to !! based on the novel i think he especially likes old history books. absolutely was one of those kids who immediately grabbed the egyptology book at the library and never stopped reading it.

very self indulgent stuff but mickey has always seemed so regressor coded to me ever since i read the novel. even more so since watching the movie. your honor he’s just a little guy.

mickey 17 age regression headcanonsss!

— okayy big believer that mickey would be a pup!regressor but outside of that i see him as regressing around a younger age, usually like 4-6 but can go to 2-3 on the younger end and 8-10 on the older end

— likes regressing around nasha.. feels super comfy n safe with her! likes having her play with and brush his hair, cuddling w her and coloring pictures of him n her

— sleepiest guy everr and its wayy more prominent when hes regressed! he will always lie n say he isnt sleepy or that he doesnt wanna go to bed but then he sits down and is OUTTT!!

— bedtime storriess! having them read to him (even tho he dozes off in the first few minutes)!! making up new ones to tell, etc. etc.. hes really fond of themm :(

— already canonically pretty quiet but hes defff more quiet when regressed.. babbles a lot instead of actually speaking.. pointing at things and tugging on nasha

— bigg fan of stuffed toys! has a stuffed dog toy that he takes eeeverywhere, ESPECIALLY when he cant be with nasha!

the rest are a bit angsty mm sorryyy

— involuntary regressorr :(( the movie talks about his guilt and how he blames himself for his moms death and i think that it def led to him regressing as a coping mechanism (i also think permregressor mickey may be truuee)

— also reallly sensitive when hes regressed.. needs lots of reassurance and patience.. criess a lot n is always apologizing for it (incoherent babbles where all u can hear is "i'm sorry" :(((()

— reallly clingy too and hates when nasha leaves him alone.. always asking if he can come with her and holding on to her... ends up crying when she goes somewhere he cant!!

— likes playing with 18 and is always sharing his toys but... 18 ends up stealing them which results in mickey crying and tattling to nasha...

10th Doctor agere thoughts bc I am not immune to the Doctor, apparently:

The regressor equivalent of a huge dog who doesn't realize he isn't a little lapdog anymore

Seriously he's gonna give his cgs a concussion if he isn't careful

Every one of his companions end up as his caregiver sooner or later

Very quickly switches between perfectly fine and having a panic attack. He's very,,,, fragile, when he's regressed.

He's also incredibly clingy. Please don't leave, please don't leave him, he doesn't want to be alone again =[

He sometimes goes through phases where he convinces himself that he's better off without a cg, because he knows he'll end up alone eventually and figures it's better not to get attached to someone he knows isn't going to be with him forever. Those phases never last more than a week.

He's so much lighter than he should be, or at least he's lighter than he looks like he should be, so it's easy for him to be carried around. Unfortunately he's very. Limbs. He's so lanky that his regressed brain isn't quite sure what to do with his limbs.

Do not let him anywhere near the control panel of the TARDIS. The last thing everyone needs is a toddler aged timelord running around medieval Germany or something. [Because yes, he will try to use the TARDIS while small, if he's bored enough, and yes, he has done it before and it ended very poorly.]

He's fascinated by makeup I think. He's fascinated by a lot of things humans do, but I think he would like makeup. Rose and Martha have both done his makeup on several occasions =D

Hyper! He's got sooooo much energy most of the time and gets very bored in the TARDIS. Goes to the park quite a lot. Martha is working on getting him to not dig holes in the ground. Yes, worms are fun and all, but please don't tear up the grass looking for them, we're on public property.

Has toys but not because he wants to play with them, but because he wants to take them apart.

Doesn't care about the stigma around regression at all. He's an alien with a time travelling police box, why would he? Honestly, his regression is the most normal part about him. So yeah, he's going to go play on that playground even though he's physically a grown man, and he isn't going to give a fuck about the people watching.

He likes to bring stuff to his cg/companion, like how cats bring you dead animals, so his companions end up with a lot of cool sticks and shiny coins and acorns and feathers and whatever else he just happens to find on the street.

I think a dog would be good for him. He needs a friend to help him burn off energy, and also that mental image is adorable, so I'd imagine that he ends up frequenting local shelters a lot, just to keep the dogs company

Forgets to eat until he's actually starving, at which point he becomes really whiny until he gets something in his system

TENTH DOCTOR REGRESSOR HEADCANONS 💫 (disclaimer these are... a lot of me projecting because i find him to be similar to me in many ways, but it's more fun that way!!) . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ ⟡ ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁. Allons-y! ⋆｡˚ ☁︎ ˚｡⋆｡˚☽˚｡⋆ 🚀 I like to think despite the fact that he's regressed, he can easily fly the TARDIS, he just prefers not to because he knows he might blank out and forget to finish landing or something ⭐ He has a lot of trouble getting into his headspace out of embarrassment. He would really enjoy regressing more, but he tends to talk himself out of it a lot. He needs a lot of reassurance from his companion. 🚀 He loves to be asked questions. Any kind, he just loves being able to answer and feel smart. ⭐ He loves stuffed animals, but he'll try acting all smarty pants when his caregiver will ask about them like they're alive. Or anything about Santa being real.

🚀 He doesn't really know what his "little age" is since he's a 904 year old timelord but in human years it would be somewhere around 2-6 depending on his mood. ⭐ He needs to be chewing or sucking on something. He loves pacifiers and chewy toys. He'll probably try putting just about anything in his mouth for fun. 🚀 He's very snuggly, but he especially loves having his head scratched or pet. Anything to do with his hair will get him calm. He has a very hard time being ready for bedtime. He just wants to talk and play, but it's easy to tame him once you know his fondness for head scratchies. ⭐ Very very puppy-like, not in a pet regression sort of way. He loves a big field of grass to run around in. Rolling down hills is the best. 🚀 Oh and swing sets too, he would play on the swings for hours if he could. ⭐ And regression does NOT turn of his smart tech brain, if you ask him a question about the TARDIS or really anything sciency that gets him blabbering on normally, he will still answer completely truthfully. Just in a more baby-ish way. 🚀 Very picky eater. He will tell you it's yucky and refuse. ⭐ He loves sippy cups with patterns and colors. Especially ones with stars on them, but he'll complain about them being inaccurate.

🚀 He likes vanilla milk and banana milk but he HATES normal milk. ⭐ Regression makes him a lot more sensitive to pain and tears, so he cries a lot more. He doesn't throw tantrums, mostly small sobs. 🚀 He can't be alone, he needs someone there to keep him company and give him lots of attention. ⭐ He loves to repeat silly words, they don't even have to make sense in the situation. Funny sounds and words are very fun for him. He's very noisy. ⋆｡˚ ☁︎ ˚｡⋆｡˚☽˚｡⋆ aaand that's my list for now! if this is something that people like or if i come up with more i'll definitely make a part two. and if i get more comfortable in my fanfiction writing skills, maybe i'll even make an ao3 to post tenth doctor regression fics on. i really like tenth doctor if you couldn't tell...

Jonathan Byers agere headcanons:

Age range: 1-4 (he's just a lil guy).

Very shy and sleepy when regressed, tends to keep to himself.

Enjoys watching programs like Sesame Street when he's extra small and shows like Scooby Doo when he's a bit bigger.

Loves having his hair brushed, it makes him feel comfortable and cared for.

Please give him cuddles, lil guy just wants to be held <3.

He has a stuffed animal of Thumper from Bambi which he likes to have when small.

He also has a toy camera which he likes to take pictures with.

I personally hc Jonathan as autistic so I can see him stimming a lot more when regressed, especially if he's watching something funny.

Jonathan also does get overwhelmed a lot easier when regressed so keeping him in a quiet space with soft lighting is the best call.

Likes to wear soft beige clothes to feel less overwhelmed.

🐌• Regresses to around the ages of 4-6

🥬° Needs to have someone near him 24/7. Usually, it's Joyce but Nancy and Argyle babysit from time to time

🐌• Joyce loves taking care of him. She's able to give her boy the childhood he deserved

🥬° Photographs his action figures and plushies all the time

🐌• Scribbles with crayons a lot, the fridge door is just his drawings at this point

🥬° His regression sometimes isn't fun and is instead triggered by memories of the abuse and all the supernatural stuff he went through, Joyce helps him deal with all these big emotions by supporting and comforting him

🐌• He gets to do all the things he wasn't allowed to as an actual kid, he runs around the house and is loud and makes messes

🥬° Argyle loves getting him silly novelty toys, Jonathan has so many songs that sing hit songs from him

🐌• Nancy is very happy that she gets to see this side of Jonathan, she likes making little schedules and making sure he heads to bed early

🥬° He's iffy around Hopper, but he does like when Hopper makes him breakfast or covers him up with a blanket
