Peter returns to his universe, thinking he is finally safe—but he can’t fully escape the mind control Agatha put him under, and it's beginning to cause problems in his life. 

Peter wakes up one day and realizes his powers are completely gone.

Hey everyone! @xmcu-fietro here. I’m sorry these prompts are so late–that is entirely my fault! I’ve had a summer job with little tech access, so I sadly haven’t been doing much fandom stuff.

Feel free to still work on these prompts in July and just post them as WIPS since June is almost over, and I'll have July's prompts posted within the first week of the month!

🥳 I consider this a continuation of @can-of-pringles's incorrect quote.

Ramblings:

Fun fact: I had the idea for this before Pringles got into metal.

I wanted to find a simpler, more comic-like style, and chose to try @paintdoktahwho's. But as you can see, I failed to keep it simple. I'm just not happy until I can recognize the faces I draw and I just don't have the skills to make that happen without plenty of details like at least 2 layers of shadows (I wonder if a caricature course would help). I think what I produced here does look nice, but I prefer my usual style (in the new style I didn't quite manage to make panel-1 Peter and panel-3 Mari look as adorable as they did in the cap/photo). And both appear equally time-consuming.

Eyelines *shakes fist*! For panel 1 I just needed to use this specific Evan cap, because of that adorable look. Unfortunately I couldn't find caps with a similar enough angle of him looking down and I lack the skills to try that in free-hand. So now Peter is supposed to have adoringly looked at Rosie and just moved his eyes onto Mari when she spoke.

I had the idea for this comic when I saw one of my best friend's babies make that gesture, but I couldn't get a video of it. A few years later I was sent a video of someone else's baby and it happened to have exactly the moment I needed, yay!

The upper sleave of the \m/ arm is a bad match, which I'm a bit grumpy about, but I couldn't let that stop me from finally making this drawing.

In panel 3 I managed to adjust Marigold's eyeline, but only because it was a minor change.

For @silver-goggles-guild's "Finish a WIP" prompt, specifically #5 from February's prompts "Crossover/AU: Peter runs into another MCU character (or characters) after the Hex; who does he meet? Do they help him get back home, or do they try to stop him from returning?"

Alright, time to share the speculative thought (before it gets jossed and I'll forget about it) I had when I heard that Evan Peters was sighted in New Orleans just when Coven of Chaos was filming there:

I thought Peter would be looking all over the place for people he knows from his world and the only one he'd find would be Remy. It would be the MCU's version of him, which means he either wouldn't be a mutant or stay under the radar. He also wouldn't know Peter, so our speedster would have to try to strike up a friendship with this this stranger. They could bond over having sticky fingers.
