I never posted stuff from TKO’s house! Here are KO, TKO and PKO based on @ryannshannon and @stevieborbolla ‘s beautiful drawings and ideas for them! I love these 2 workin together. @kalidraws worked especially hard on the colors for this ep! And art direction is by John Pham!

what do you imagine Dendy would look like as an adult?

I’ve seen a lot of versions of older Dendy that i absolutely love, so i wanted to make sure i try something little different, one thing that i don’t seem to see with older Dendy’s is her lack of bald spot. its a shame, i think she looks cute with one! she is a kappa after all, and even the teenage kappas we’ve seen in the show have small bald spots. Rock your Kappa look Dendy!  (i used younger Enid as my reference for the body type)

So now gar and Carol are canon opinions also if you take requests can you maybe draw them as kids...

My personal opinion? The creators have answered my prayers! I am a huge sucker for the “X character is (secretly) madly in love with the main protagonist’s mother” trope, and the way Mr. Gar gets to develop throughout season one and then in season 2 is fantastic. going from unable to even speak around her, to saying his first sentence to having a full on conversation to her about his feelings. the one point that cemented my need for Mr. to enter Carol and K.Os life was the episode of the stake out, it broke my heart when K.O. talks about how he doesn’t have a big guy back home to ask questions too. and i love how afterwards Gar steps in to mentor K.O. as a father figure even before dating Carol. 

anyway! i couldn’t resist your request, here is my interpretation of how i think Carol and MR. Gar would look as children,  I modeled Carol after K.O’s body shape (lol duh) and Mr. Gar off of young Rad (i am a firm believer he was scrawny when he was a kid, which is why he saw the potential in younger Rad when he was first hired) I doubt the two of them would of known each other prior to P.O.I.N.T but you never know!

A collection of panels from TKO’s House that I liked! This episode was soooo much fun to work on and I loved getting the opportunity to get kind of intense, and absolute favorite was getting to board the sequence where KO+TKO SYNCHRONIZE INTO “PERFECT KO”. The climactic moments where two characters that struggle to even coexist, finally learn to work together to become an unstoppable force, were always the most exciting to me as a kid, and still are even now. So it was very fulfilling to work with Stevie on a sequence that could make others feel that excitement (hopefully!!). KO/TKO’s synchronization was an homage to Pacific Rim and Ian had the idea of the two joining up as abstract silhouettes which came out really nice! Huge thanks to the Revisions team for spicing up that sequence so it came out as cool as I’d envisioned it!

Kendy!

Been having a bad week so far, so I started catching up on OK K.O.! These two have really grown on me. They’re so adorable and supportive of each other!

And I like that OK KO’s style allows for hands to be drawn as simple knobs most of the time. I don’t always have the spoons to draw fingered hands.
