I’m tryin to understand Aerith resolution scene in remake where she basically tells Cloud that if he thinks he’s in love with her it’s not real. Is this the future Aerith? Does she know that it’s the soldier persona Zack and not the real him and that’s why she says it’s not real? It’s confusing because I don’t think Cloud would ever have romantic feelings for Aerith.

It's Aerith from the future in the lifestream after she's died and been nakama'd by Cloud. She's not only telling him it's hopeless, she's also telling herself but she's a bit pissed by that fact, even though she never had a chance with him and it was just her arrogance at not wanting to lose to Tifa and the fact he acted like Zack that drove her to chase him

Do you think that if SENA had done their job appropriately and translated the game as intended by the creators (whether we're talking Re-Trilogy or the original game), we wouldn't have all of these freaks trying to push the narrative that Aerith is/was a love interest to Cloud?

They'd still try but it'd be even more embarrassing than they are already.

I'm not sure if you've been asked this before, and I hope this doesn't come off as a dumb question, but do you wish that the love triangle never existed? I mean if the creators and developers were going to reveal that the real Cloud was always in love with Tifa since forever and joined SOLDIER for her, why bother throwing in a love triangle that ended with the other girl dying anyways? There was no point for a love triangle 🤦‍♀️

Yes. If the devs hadn't gone with it then we wouldn't have to put up with assholes sending us death threats over a game they never played.

He never calls Tifa that. He calls her his important woman in romantic context and the language he uses to apologise in AC are words between a husband and wife.

Hey Silver! I wanted to ask you if this is true or not. I read some user comments on YouTube that there are "hiding facts, such as that before Tifa made Cloud promise her to come and save her, she made Lester, Tyler, and Emilio make the same promise, but all three of them failed." :(

In ToTP all the boys said they'd return to Nibelheim and take her away and her reaction was to get pissed off by that because she's not a trophy and loves her hometown.

Cloud just promised to save her if she was in trouble, so they're not the same thing.

The fact Cloud said he was leaving to become someone better was what made Tifa realise he wasn't out of her league like some distant star because it was similar to what the other ordinary boys said.

None of this is hidden info. We all literally talked about it when the book came out. Clotis don't need to conceal canon.

Believe me when I said once Rebirth hit PC, the first thing they gonna do is switching Tifa's place with Aerith. They want that "non-canon" and "optional" scene soooo bad.

And then they'll block and bully anyone who likes it even though in private they'll be sooooo happy they get to see that rancid corpse kiss Cloud

Idk if you guys have seen Love and Deepspace floating around, but Imma recommend it.

The setup is basically the same as EC but instead of weapons to upgrade with bits you get Evol cards that also unlock some nice dates and storylines with one of the three love interests.

I'm not far into the game, but it's a lot of fun and very relaxing.

There's Rafayel, a painter and has some kind of connection to the ocean. He talks as though he's not human. He has a fire attribute.

There's Xavier who is a hunter in the same organisation as your MC, has a light affinity and seems to be some kind of immortal.

Last one is my personal fave, Zayne, a doctor with ice affinity and the MC's childhood friend.

It's a sci-fi setting, you can customise your MC at the start and change her voice too. The evol cards are gained through gatcha and have a simple storyline with no voices, a simple scenario where the love interest only talks, and an interactive scenario where both characters talk and have branching dialogues.

It's better than EC. The graphics are better, the battles are better and all the extras are better.

I don't know why people it's aparently worry that Aerith can be in the LS scene, or find "real" Cloud, even if she does, he still don't gonna love her, only thing she will find it's that this guy she's been harrasing was over the heels for other girl all this time. It will be humiliating...

PD: and It will be dumb, since the secuence it's meant to reaveal the real self of Cloud, his real feelings, not his confusing guilty feelings for the random girl he meet a couple weeks ago.

I think they just psyche themselves out because of how insistent those dumbasses are. The constant barrage gets to everyone at some point. That's why it's healthy to put some distance between yourselves and the fandom.

As long as you have other interests and things outside of this to help keep you balanced then it doesn't bother you as much when they're acting up.

hi, I wanted to ask (if you know) how coherent Cloud is in that Dream date? Because he seems out f it sometimes and utterly confused, when I saw it I Thought he either not fully there or its Aerith pushing him to act a certain way because its her dream and idk how much control she actually have over it

He's soldier boi suffering from the after effects of Sephiroth's control and mako poisoning. He ain't healthy.

I dont want to buy a Game where Aerith Sue gets Tifa's role, or a very coward and safe product

Aerith's dead. She doesn't know and never will know or find real Cloud.

Tifa's role belongs to her alone and cannot be switched for any character.

How many Fandom have you been before ff7? For me I have been in many fandoms of anime and I've never ever came across toxic shippers like CA. They're the worst of the worst. For other fandoms if characters kiss they'd accept defeat that doesn't mean they'll stop but they won't deny the canon of the ship but for CA it stills baffles me that they still try to downplay CT as canon and act like noting happened. I can't wait for part 3 to watch their meltdowns.

One for an otome game I used to play, but it was pretty crappy there and I eventually lost interest. I never went around fighting over canon. I didn't care 🤷🤣

And I guess squeeing over my friend's novels and our group creating fanfic and art for it also counts as a fandom, but we all get along and shared ideas as we beta read her books, so that's actually fun and we know what canon is so even if we do what ifs for alt scenarios nobody starts getting pissy about it and claiming that's what should happen.

FF is the first big fandom I've ever really got into. Kinda regret it. The place is toxic af and really drains all the love for the source material people have because they're constantly fighting to defend it from dumbasses.

They're so loud and obnoxious. They're gonna regret it. I just hope they also leave when they see how wrong they are.

I never said I supported or condoned their actions. I just said they're also a person and made a mistake without any malicious intent. It wasn't just about balance. They are their perfect halves. And in japan where harmony is everything, they really wanted to highlight this. That's why whenever there are Weird talks about "if this person, that person doesn't exist blah blah" I find it strange because no matter what happens Cloud is Only perfect with someone who is exactly like Tifa. We have this approval from the devs as early as 2005. So why would he even down grade to another person who is the complete opposite of Tifa's personality. Someone whom, even when alive, Never budge him, not even 0.1% lol. If anybody sees that, you're on Copium and need to see more clearly. Hehe, two girls with the same personality are dead tho , so this talk about existing just funny to me. He Only ever thought of them as possible Friends and that's it.

Yeah, she only wears one. Sometimes she was accidentally rendered with two but all her concept arts have her wearing one.
