I am incredibly unwell about the Secretary Arthur au by @cypresswood3 and I've spent the whole weekend drawing stuff about it (and also they're dogs because I said so). Send help.

Comparison of my designs for canon Dogthur and secretary Dogthur, and my messy references for Arthur and Larson until I make proper ones for them.

Additional design notes:

Arthur is a red merle border collie, and Larson is a sheltand sheepdog

Arthur's a couple inches shorter than Larson, but is still relatively tall

Don't worry about the physics of Larson's glasses or bow tie. We can pretend its cult magic or something

Arthur is constantly wearing a thick coat because he gets cold very easily, and Addison is freezing. Larson hates the stupid coat.

I love ppl who draw Breekon and Hope with those dark shadows obscuring the top half of their faces so I did the closest equivalent I could get with the dark mask pattern lol.

In this au they're probably identical twins (thing that can actually happen in cat litters, just rare) but the thought of them just being two completely unrelated guys who happen to be identical is almost funny enough to make me chose that instead.

Was originally just going to give her rabies but then I remembered flystrike/myiasis exists and decided that was fitting enough lol. Though she also probably has rabies too.

anyway go look up red-on-blue tabbies now. they're rare but they're so pretty and I felt like it was really fitting for our dear gertrude. unfortunately she is dead in the current setting of this au so we don't really see her much, but she's still a cutie.

doggy :) rip to her being the odd one out of not being a cat like the vast majority of the felidae au cast but I felt like this was more fitting and I couldn't figure out a good way to fit her into the plot otherwise

She's not any one particular breed, but was loosely inspired by canaan dogs and sarloos wolfdogs
