- Kallie was born with magenta tips in her hair and a lavender colored birthmark on her chest, and has always been self-conscious about them. Ever since she was 10, she hid her birthmark and took to saying she dyed her hair because kids kept teasing her about being different.

- She is a very skilled pilot, tying with her brother for the top of their class.

- She loves chocolate, especially Hunk's homemade chocolate.

- She is very good with kids.

- She enjoys working on tech with Pidge, although she leans more towards engineering and manufacturing over programming. While trying to escape the Garrison after rescuing Shiro, she uses a homemade EMP orb to take out 2 Garrison vehicles.

Personality:

Kallie has always been kind, ambitious, competitive and stubborn. Once she sets her mind on something it is very difficult to sway or change her opinion. She never gives up on anything or anyone, and she believes in giving everyone a chance to prove themselves. She can also be quite sarcastic, often making witty comments and snide remarks. She is a very compassionate and optimistic individual. She's only really had her brother, Keith to call family, but since joining Team Voltron, she has grown to love them like a family, and she would do anything and everything in her power to protect them. She is often referred to by the rest of the team as their "big sister". However, despite Kallie's generally good-natured and sweet demeanor, she can have a rather ruthless and aggressive side when someone threatens those she loves.

Kallie is extremely loyal, and is always the first to jump into the line of fire to protect others, which often gets her hurt. She has a natural gift for instilling hope and harmony in others even in the toughest situations. This is evident when she travels to the planet Dasmiria to retrieve the White Lion, and tames a vicious sujekath that's taken territory over the lion's resting place in a network of caverns. The Dasmirians believed it was just a ravenous beast, but Kallie realized that it had in reality it got stuck in the caverns and relied on the light the lion provided, and she felt bad for the creature. She brought it back to the Dasmirians and showed them that they were wrong, and the sujekath became a loyal asset to the Dasmirians.

Kallie is a wild spirit and always up for a challenge. She will never back down from a fight, even when she knows she should.

Past/Bio:

Kallie and Keith grew up without knowing anything about their mother, and they were left with no one but each other when their dad died. She was enrolled at the Galaxy Garrison by Shiro when he saw her natural talent for flying, even though she aided her brother in hijacking Shiro's car. She was put into a team with cadets Tristan Clarke and Quinn Diaz, and the three quickly bonded. Kallie often had to break up fights between her brother and other cadets, including fights with James Griffin. However, she was kicked out of the Garrison a few days after Keith was booted because she got into a fight with three cadets for harassing her about her hair and her "impertinent emo brother". After being expelled, the Kogane twins worked day and night to try and uncover the mystery behind the blue lion carvings in the caves.

When Shiro crash landed back on Earth, Keith and Kallie formed a plan to break him out, but were intercepted by Lance, Pidge and Hunk. The next day, the six discover the Blue Lion and travel to Arus, where they meet Allura and Coran, and become the six Paladins of Voltron.

Kallie suffered from insomnia for the first half of season 2. She couldn't sleep because every time she closed her eyes she would have nightmares about Zarkon and his forces, but also because she began doubting that she was human, and in fact part Galra when the team met Ulaz. This theory was confirmed when she accompanied Shiro and Keith to the Blade of Marmora base, and awakening her blade also activated the Galra traits in her blood. While Keith received the more "under the skin" Galra traits, Kallie underwent a physical transformation, appearing more Galra than human. This revelation about the Kogane twins, and Kallie's transformation, shocked Team Voltron. Allura's hatred for the Galra apparently extended to Kallie, making her feel isolated and dejected, but she didn't blame Allura for it. Lance was actually the one Kallie found the most comfort to confide in aside from her brother and Shiro during this time. Allura eventually came around and apologized for the way she had been acting towards Kallie, and the two became closer because of it.

It didn't take long for a friendship to form between Ryo and Kallie when they found him in a Galra escape pod at the end of season 3. Allura didn't trust him at first, since he was a lieutenant to the Galra Empire (secretly a marmora spy) but he proved his allegiance to Team Voltron by jumping in front of a Galra fleet for Kallie. He's stayed with the paladins ever since, and his and Kallie's relationship slowly evolved.

After Keith left for the Blade of Marmora, Kallie stayed with Voltron, but they tried to stay in touch as much as possible. She freaked when she received a radio transmission from Kolivan, saying he wanted Kallie to join Keith on his next mission - which led to them finding Krolia and travelling to the Quantum Abyss.

After two years (based on time in the Quantum Abyss) they stumbled across the Altean Colony and found Romelle, who helped them find out the truth about Lotor’s alterior motives. She, along with Keith, Krolia, and Romelle, raced back to Team Voltron to expose Lotor. Kallie was furious about Lotor's double crossing, and when he returned with Allura, she attacked him and cut him across the chest with her spear.

When the paladins finally reached Earth three years after their fight with Lotor in the Quintessence Field, and found out Sendak took over Earth, Kallie feared for all the people that had been enslaved or killed by the Galra, and that her friends at the Garrison were dead. But her worries were put to rest when the MFE fighters came to Team Voltron's aid, and found Tristan with them. Quinn however, wasn't so lucky. During the re-con mission to get supplies, she had been hit by Galra weapons, and lost all feeling from the waist down. Quite a few people at the Garrison, Admiral Sanda especially, are initially wary of Kallie since she looked Galra, but the majority of them quickly dismissed this fact and remembered who she was before all this happened.

Tristan flew Kallie to one of the seven Zaiforge cannons spread out across the globe; this one being in the heart of the Arctic. Upon finding out about Admiral Sanda's deception, Kallie was spiteful towards her, but forgave her when she realized Sanda was just doing what she thought was right. Her and the other paladins escaped Sendak's imprisonment, and launched a final attack to defeat him. Keith and Kallie delivered the killing blow on Sendak when he almost killed Shiro, but their victory was cut short by the arrival of Honerva's Robeast. Narrowly escaping death, the paladins defeated the robeast and saved Earth. Kallie woke up in the same hospital room as Keith, with Kolivan, Krolia, Ryo, Olearia, and Casit (her friend and an alien General from the planet Dasmiria, the place that had previously housed the White Lion) eagerly waiting at their bedsides. It was when she woke up that Ryo and her finally shared their first kiss.

Kallie and Ryo were invited to Tristan and Quinn's joint family gathering the night before the Atlas launched back into space on their mission to free planets from what was left of the Galra Empire. Quinn's 4 younger siblings immediately took a liking to Kallie, and Ryo found it funny that they wouldn't leave her alone, until they started trying to play with his "funny fish fin" ears. The next day, the Atlas launched, and they began their mission.

While on Lahn's fleet ship with Ranveig’s monster, Kallie split off with Keith and Kosmo. The monster attacked, and because Kallie is Galra, it went after her specifically. She tried to fight it off, but she got wounded in the process, and thankfully Kosmo teleported her and Keith back to the others before the team made their escape.

Kallie was deeply against the idea of using Allura's new connection to the entity inside her to get into Honerva's mind, because she knew that something so evil will surely do no good, and she didn't want to see her best friend get hurt. But, she and Lance reluctantly agreed that it was their best option to work out Honerva's plan. While in the void, she was forced to fight Lyndis, the original White Paladin, but Kallie's intimate bond with the White Lion managed to bring Lyndis back from her possessed state. Lyndis, along the rest of the original paladins, assisted the team to get to the source of Honerva's mind. Kallie was horrified to see Zarkon again, but when she realized that the Zarkon in front of them was the one before being corrupted and saw how guilty he felt after seeing all the pain he caused, she felt sorry for him. She even kneeled before him and comforted him. She told him that he could help make it right if he helped them, and she believed this version of him deserved a chance at redemption.

After the final battle, when Allura was saying her final goodbyes to everyone, Kallie broke down. Allura was her best friend, basically her sister, and she didn't want to lose yet another person she loved. However, Allura assured her that she would always be with Kallie, and she hoped that they would meet again in the next life. Allura then parted with Kallie by giving her her earrings, and Kallie treasured them for the rest of her life, never taking them off.

When the war was over, and every reality was saved, Kallie and Ryo chose to spend half of each year helping Keith turn the Blade of Marmora into a humanitarian relief organisation, and the other half to help the Holts recruit and train the next generation of Legendary Defenders.
