though he knows well that he should have expected such a simplistic response, the other’s touch still startles him, and the spectre’s hair seems to almost.. sway in response, as if to warn of danger.

were this the same being he knew, there would have been countless explosions by now, dead littering the streets, a heavy feeling in the expanse of his chest. but none of that happens, and he sincerely does not know what to do.

he first pulls his hand away, then looks up into the other’s eyes, all before fixing his gaze on the ground, writing in the dirt with a little nearby stick.

a pause, then right below it,

ここに？ どうして？

the aura radiating from the other in front of them was heavy after they touched briefly. killer queen doesn’t know why, but it seems that their very appearence is setting off their anxieties. could they somehow know them? how could they?

their eyes return to slits as they watch star pick up a branch from the ground nearby and being writing on the ground. confused at first at the odd shaping of their writing, when the other finishes they finally recognize it was japanese text. though it was enough to be recognizable to them, their stand user wasn’t knowledgeable to the point of being fluent.

suddenly, the pink stand bent over, simply brushing away the text on the ground as it was of no use to them. though it was still a long shot, killer queen stuck their finger in the dirt itself, writing out in large letters.

‘ H E L L O ‘

a little mishapen, but the point would hopefully get across that at least killer queen did not understand what star had been saying. to hopefully get the point across completely, they waved their hand meekly as well.

i genuinely think people should look into super sentai and kamen rider stuff if they enjoyed power rangers as children. as much as that stuff is still made for a younger audience, the original versions of these shows have way more mature audience appeal than you’d think

literally saw a dude pull out and fire a real pistol multiple times a series both in the middle of a crowd and just point blank shoot someone in the face right before some badass transformation from the funny main protagonist

everyone gives toyble a hard time, especially for that “tracing” scandal, but ive been a long time fan of his since his AF days and while i do have criticisms about his take on the story i wouldn’t mind if he just took over writing the series over toriyama himself at this point.

or at least have the anime and manga be consistent storywise
