Taking a teeny break you guys! Just trying to avoid massive burn out, because we all know what that’s like. It’s important to do other hobbies, mine right now is Diablo 4, haha. I’ll be back on Saturday though, I have a release date for Windbrook, and I don’t want to miss it.

The only reason I went more alpha is because of the HQ mod. I was too lazy to upscale all my maxis match cc, so I put it away. But, the horse ranch pack is looking real enticing. I might just have to put back on my MM hat.

Can someone pretty PRETTY please make tabletop game decor? Catan, Wingspan, Pandemic, etc. Maybe even some decor game boxes. Oh, maybe even some to set on a bookshelf? I’d love to be able to build a decorate a tabletop cafe. I wish I had the willpower to learn how to make cc 😭.

I'm so excited to see your 2.0 Windbrook. More when i saw those screenshots you shared, it looks so realistic !! (I just hope you'll avoid the 2 houses on 1 lot hahaha, kinda sturggled with it for gameplay). Also can't wait to see your townies as you use the same nothernsiberia skin I do, they look so good !! keep doing this amazing job !

Hey there!

First off, thank youu!! I’m glad you’ve enjoyed playing in Windbrook 1.0 so far. Unfortunately, to invoke the look I’m going for, there’s going to be 2 for 1 lots for version 2.0. Second, I’m sorry your not having a good time with that aspect. Here’s a couple tips I can share from experience: depending on your play style, the lots can be just for aesthetics, or functional. For example, for my personal game, I’ll use one of the lots as my main house while having the other “houses” empty. Or, if you want, you could utilize the roommate feature from University to add a sim(s) to the other houses; there’s mods and YouTube tutorials on how to get that going. Lastly, I sometimes have two families (I play them both) living in the separate houses, and use the lock door feature so that the families stay in their separate homes.

Lol before you say “she’s inclusive”, maybe check what the “fat” body presets looked like in both the sims 1 and 2. Basically The Sims wasn’t really inclusive when it came to body types until 2009, 9 years after the franchise began.
