Rusty Needles Tattoo Parlor

It’s been a little while. I hope everything’s been good on your end!

As you can see, I took a bit of a different turn this time. Before diving into my upcoming Disordinato set, I wanted to take advantage of the new Businesses and Hobbies expansion pack, especially since it added some cool features for tattoos.

I started testing to see if we could create our custom tattoo stamps, and once I realized it worked, I just had to make a full stamp set. Then I thought, “Well, what if we could display these tattoos in live mode too?” So, I made some framed tattoo artworks, then a few more. Next thing I knew, boom! A whole set was born. Totally unplanned.

And that’s how Rusty Needles came to life. This set includes 16 new objects and 34 custom tattoo stamps.

To use the custom stamps, you’ll need the Businesses and Hobbies expansion pack. But don’t worry, I'm planning to upload a few ready-made tattoos to the gallery in the coming days for those who don’t own the pack.

You can decorate your tattoo studio with items like framed tattoo displays that match your Sim’s body art, waiting area seating, and tattoo chairs. (Please note: the interactive tattoo chair does require the Businesses and Hobbies expansion pack, but all the other items work with the base game!)

🧃DRINKS OVERRIDE from SPECIALTY COFFEE BAR🧃

And here's another drinks override ♡ A new expansion pack recently came out that I've been thrilled with! We got a lot of goodies, including a new coffee bar:

But when I saw these drinks, I was left very disappointed, because again they are the ONE!!! They all look something like this:

Also, they're BROKEN! Yes, yes, it turns out it can happen... Even if your sim finishes his flavored coffee, the glass will still be full, even though it will start to smell....

But with my replacement, you'll solve two problems at once: both your eye will be satisfied and the bug will be fixed!

Here's what the new drinks look like now:

It is desirable not to put the files with texture replacement deeper than one subfolder in the Mods folder. Also, this mod will conflict with any mod that replaces these textures.

I really hope you like this override and your sims will order new drinks more often! I'll be happy to get any feedback 🤍

Functional Mannequins

I've wanted to create new custom mannequins for so long! As far as I'm aware, this is the only mod of its kind, so I had to figure out some tricky things on my own. Mannequins are weird! Did you know that they're basically sims frozen in place? This is probably why they caused my game to crash so much while I was testing. But luckily, they work beautifully now. I'm really happy and proud I was able to make this! I can't wait to see you using them in your retail builds! OVERVIEW

There are two versions of this mod: Base Game or Get To Work. You must choose just one depending on your preference / pack ownership. Get To Work | Includes original mannequin features + my custom interactions. Note that all mannequins on the lot share outfits, which may or may not be your preference. Base Game | A simplified mannequin that doesn't require any dlc packs. The mannequin outfits are not shared like the GTW version, so you create outfits for each mannequin individually. If you do own GTW, this version also includes the original poses. It doesn't have all the extra interactions like buying, trying on, restocking etc. If you like simple objects with not too many interactions, try this version even if you own Get To Work.

2 Styles: The mannequins have two styles. The first includes feet, the other hides them. 4 New Custom Poses: Neutral, Relaxed, Cool, and Seated New 'View Outfit' Interaction: Includes a new custom 'inspired' buff. Style Influencers may also get an additional 'confident' buff. Increases Style Influencer and Fashion Photographer job performance. For creative/materialistic sims, it can be 'admired' and increase a tiny bit of fun. Mannequin Stand: This (optional) object has a unique footprint and slots that allow you to easily move and display the mannequin.

This mod will be in early access to my lovely patrons first. I appreciate this community so much for giving me the space to explore these ideas. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

☕ COFFEE & TEA OVERRIDE ☕

 I really love to go to coffee shops with my sims, to make hot tea or coffee in the morning, it adds some coziness and atmosphere to their pixel lives! 

 But alas, in the game, all hot drinks look the same (yes, yes, the same mug with some dark drink for all occasions):

   Not too long ago, I substituted cocoa with marshmallows and it turns out that this small substitution turned out to be a favorite of many! So I decided to redesign the appearance of absolutely all warming drinks (if I missed something - let me know in the comments!). To do this, I created new objects so that the appearance of each drink would be unique.

I was inspired to create this mod by the default mug replacement from the wonderful creator JariSimCC. His mugs look awesome and most importantly - they fit perfectly in the Sim's hand! He gave me permission to use his mash (i.e. he made the shape of the mug, I just drew textures for it). Be sure to check out his blog, he has a lot of cool CC content and different swaps!!! 

 Replaced all drinks from:

〇 tea brewer (Base Game)

〇 coffee maker (Base Game)

〇 electric kettle ("For Rent")

〇 espresso bar ("Get Together")

Enoque Coats.

With the latest update came this incredibly cute coat! HOWEVER... It came with as an outfit with a pair of pants underneath so i had to make it into a top and remove that! ᵔᴥᵔ The short version is SO cute!! I loved the original color palette a lot, so i did not add any recolors. Read below for the download link! (Freebsters of course!)
