So I will be like "can I have my ship please" and the internet will go "sure! here are a thousand results!" and I will go "is it actually my ship or is it some guys who are basically totally different characters in all meaningful ways that someone is having masquerade as my blorbos?" and the answer is yes often enough that I give up

WIP/Last Line

I was tagged by @simonxriley almost a month ago and I feel so bad. I took a break from Tumblr so I hadn't seen it. However, I do enjoy these, so I'll happily share some writings! I don't know if this counts as cheating, but someone gave me an idea and I started writing for it today.

Time had never been something he’d struggled with, whether it be being on time, or somehow always managing to guess exactly what it was each and every time Logan had asked, Hesh Walker had never been wrong. Yet, no matter how far he traveled, or how hard he fought, or how perfectly timed he made sure each of his jumps were, he was always too late to save his family. With a pained grunt he stands, his knees dripping with the fresh blood of his father, the crimson coating his hands slowly beginning to drip down into the pool and slide down his forearms. How long had it been, since this all began? How long had he been trying and failing for? Over and over and over again, and he could never get his timing right.

My respect goes out to everyone who writes fanfiction. Whether you're crafting epic sagas, filling in missing moments, or just having fun with an AU, it takes so much creativity and dedication to bring those ideas to life.

Writing isn’t easy—finding the right words, keeping the momentum, and sometimes just convincing yourself to start can be a challenge. And yet, fanfic writers do it anyway, pouring love into their stories, expanding worlds, and giving us all something to obsess over.

I’ve even tried writing myself, and let me tell you—it’s hard. I don’t know if I can keep it going, and now I completely understand why there are so many unfinished fics out there. It takes so much effort to see a story through to the end, and honestly? That makes me respect fic writers even more.

So if you write fanfiction—whether you share it or keep it to yourself—just know that it’s appreciated. You’re amazing. Keep writing.
