because i've been asked, here's a post for new tumblr users about reblogging vs reposting
reblogging is what this site is built on. the circulation of posts. to reblog a post, look for the symbol below on a post and press it
why is reblogging good?
it helps a creator's work get spread. even if you only have 1 follower, reblogging allows that 1 follower to see something they might not have seen otherwise. liking posts is nice, but unlike instagram there is no algorithm on tumblr and you liking a post doesnt help it reach others. reblogging does, so if you like something, hit reblog!
reposting is theft, essentially. reposting is when you right click and save an image to your computer or phone and then you post it on your own blog. reposting is taking someone else's work and claiming it as your own. doing this will get you reported which can lead to your blog being suspended. there is no excuse for reposting. do not ever repost
why is reposting bad?
aside from you stealing someone's work? its bad because people will think you created that thing and it deprives the actual creator of any credit or support. no content creator on this site will thank you for it, its just wrong. please do not repost
reblogging and reposting are not the same thing. please do not confuse them

MORNING DREAMS

idol!Changbin x gn!reader
Genre: fluff, thoughts and memories about your missing boyfriend, Changbin is on tour and you’re lonely
Warnings: mentions of addiction,loneliness, sadness
In the distance you hear the familiar sounds of your alarm clock getting louder and louder. Bit by bit they tear you more and more from your longed-for sleep. Sad that such a short and restless night is already over, you let a sigh escape your lips. Without opening your eyes to have a chance to fall back to sleep, you slowly search for your cell phone next to you. Turning off the alarm and pressing yourself back into your pillow, you pull the blanket up to your nose, a few more minutes of sleep you think to yourself. The last few days, or rather weeks, you've been chasing every minute for the possibility to get a little sleep or rest. It's not only the stress at work that is upsetting and draining you, but also the feeling of emptiness and loneliness.
Since your beloved Boyfriend is on tour with his other members, you are missing the most important part in your everyday life. Changbin and you have been in a relationship for barely a year, but in that short time you have become more than just loved ones to each other. You are soul mates. Exactly in such moments like these, where you lie frustrated in bed and notice how the stress already catches up with you, without you having even really started the day, Changbin would be there. He would notice your restlessness and pull you into his safe presence with his strong arms. Still half asleep, he would stroke small circles on the warm skin of your back with his fingers and show you that he is there. His warmth, his steady breathing and his scent, so beloved by you, would take you in and free you from all your thoughts. Like a calming medicine, his presence alone would slowly relax you and allow your troubled emotions to subside.
But the medicine you crave so much is not there. It is missing. And inside you, the pain of addiction spreads.
Another sigh leaves your lips. You are annoyed with yourself because by now you have let these thoughts and memories of your Boyfriend become your morning routine. In order not to lose yourself completely in your sadness, you decide to slowly open your eyes, giving yourself no choice but to finally welcome the day. The warm rays of the sun have already taken over the large bedroom, illuminating it in full brightness. You give yourself and your eyes a moment to get used to the bright and colorful scene. Slowly you sit up and lean your back against the cold bedroom wall behind you.
With wide eyes you look at the empty side of the bed next to you. It is deserted and cold, as if untouched, for weeks. You run the flat of your hand over the spot where your boyfriend would actually be lying. He would probably be looking up at you now with sleepy eyes, presenting a small smile on his lips. With a loud yawn, he would stretch to his full length, fighting the fatigue in his body. With one elbow he would prop himself off the bed, to give himself the opportunity to cup your cheeck with his other hand and gently stroke his thumb over it. Like every morning he would then enclose your lips with his soft lips and give you a tender kiss. With this simple, but for you so important gesture, he would also conjure a smile on your lips. Good morning Jagiya would be his first spoken words that you would hear from him, with his still husky and sleepy voice. And if there was still time, he would lay his heavy head on your lap and embrace you tightly to spend five more minutes with you in your common bubble of love and security.
Another ring of your cell phone bursts the bubble of your morning dream. You know, now you have no choice but to start your lonely day. With the thought that your Boyfriend will soon return from the tour, you pull yourself out of bed.
A few more days Jagiya lights up on your screen, making you count the hours until Changbin holds you in his arms again.
