GAMEPLAY: PLAYING IN STRANGERTOWN! (PART 5)

LET’S GET CHAOTIC! Welcome (again) to the Bakers!

Luka, the son of Circe and Loki, is all grown up now. The boy was basically born just to make Loki seem more "innocent" after being sentenced to house arrest, forced to stay home as a precaution following the accusations made by Nicolas (formerly Nervous Subject).

Circe, on the other hand, wasn’t too thrilled about carrying the child of a man who had been lying to her for years. At first, she went along with Loki’s mistreatment of Nicolas, but her views started to shift after her secret meetings with her lover, Vidcund. Vidcund is trying to rescue Circe from Loki’s grasp — and it seems like he might just succeed.

One day, Circe left a gift from her lover sitting on the kitchen table. Loki, who got home from work before she did, was not happy when he saw what was written:

"Circe, My Love. The love between us has bloomed Like this flower. And when I think of you, Something inside me burns with desire. — Vidcund"

When Circe got home, Loki showed her the note. She broke down in tears, full of regret...

But not even a little bit sorry. Furious, Loki kicked her and their son out of the house. He only agreed to pay child support because of Luka’s crying and pleading.

Circe felt humiliated and cast out — but deep down, she was already dreaming of the new home where she’d finally be free and truly happy.

Weeks passed, and Loki, bored and lonely, started a new project: reaching gold level in Robotics and creating his ultimate invention — Musa.

After long days glued to the computer, reading books, and running countless tests, the android's frame came to life. At first, Musa looked terrifying — all wires and circuits...

But soon she was covered in silicone, given hair, makeup, and a fancy outfit. Musa now shows emotions almost like a real Sim, but she was built solely to fill the void in Loki’s life…

And he ends up falling in love with her. She’s molded exactly the way he wants her — always cheerful, flawless — maybe too flawless. Honestly? A little creepy.

Musa didn’t understand what was good or bad — maybe her tech made her “innocent,” or maybe she was just programmed that way. Her only goal was to serve and make Loki happy, without even knowing what happiness is or what it feels like. Maybe it’s because of that devotion that she doesn’t understand the dirty looks she gets when people see her in public with Loki.

GAMEPLAY: PLAYING IN STRANGERTOWN! (PART 4)

Welcome to another batch of updates from my Strangetown gameplay — and today’s a juicy one! Some households had a calm week, while others went through some real drama! Check it out and let me know what you think:

We’re back at the Smiths! Jill is now a teen and showing lots of love and care for her parents — helping around the house, getting good grades, and maintaining a stable relationship with Buck Grunt. Things are pretty peaceful here. Jeanie is getting ready to retire soon, as she approaches elderhood.

Mr. "9 Smith" is doing his usual — reading the paper or chilling on the porch, watching the (almost nonexistent) activity in the dusty town. With all that free time, he’s even picked up golfing.

Jeanie loves making soups, especially the ones passed down from her grandma. One soup night, Jill invited Buck over for dinner, hoping to get her dad’s approval. At first, he thought Buck might have the same prejudice as his father, but turns out the guy’s actually decent. It was a nice evening.

Early the next morning, Jeanie made breakfast and headed to work. When she came back, she sat down with her husband to chat a bit about their daily routines and their daughter’s future. But enough of the calm and peaceful Smith life...

GAMEPLAY: PLAYING IN STRANGERTOWN! (PART 3)

Welcome to another recap of my gameplay! I’m loving sharing this journey with you all!

While visiting the Imito Core, I started playing with three other La Fiesta Tech legends: Clair, Willy, and Belladonna (in that order on the photo carousel). Quick summary since I didn’t play that much with them: Willy decided—after taking out a massive 80k simoleon loan—and getting engaged to Belladonna, to buy a shopping center in Baskerville. The idea was also to give his fiancée and future wife a space to sell her art. Clair, who’s basically a shady aspiring politician, snooped on Willy’s private computer to check his financial records, but the guy was smart and had everything locked down tight. Clair’s a bitter foreigner dreaming of marrying someone who’ll boost her political career out in the desert.

TWINS ON THE WAY!

Looks like all those prayers to Will Wright paid off—Jezebel Picasso is pregnant! And surprise: it’s twins!

Tuesday Night Fever (With Chloe & Lola!)

Chloe and Lola, our fave alien twins, decided to check out Dirty Melba—the first (and only) nightclub in Strangetown. Lola’s been in a bit of a slump, growing in her career but feeling lonelier by the day. She’s still wondering if anyone will ever love her—or at least smile at her—like the bartender did:

Meanwhile, Chloe was owning the dancefloor and getting absolutely wasted!

In a drunken haze, she agreed to a bet: win a game and get a free round.

She won—but the "prince charming" asked her to split the tab. Classic.

Back to Lola: she even tried flirting with pointy-nosed Loki (???), who for some reason was there alone, leaving Circe back home with baby Luka.

DOUBLE WEDDING DAY! (Curious & Curious)

Nervous + Pascal & Lazlo + Crystal all decided to tie the knot together in a double ceremony to save some gameplay time!

Off Topic: Ripp had a short-lived moment of glory with the ladies—married or not 👀

A few days later: Nervous, Pascal, Thyco, Crystal, and Lazlo all moved to Baskerville. Nervous and Pascal went all in on a bigger house:

And started the adoption process for little Anna, their new daughter 💖

Everyone got a makeover to mark this fresh start—and to leave their traumatic past behind. Nervous even legally changed his name to Nicholas!

Meanwhile, Lazlo and Crystal bought a smaller house next door to some family in Baskerville! Fun fact: in this subhood, almost every house is affordable with starting funds and has a basement!

GAMEPLAY: PLAYING IN STRANGERTOWN! (PART 2)

HEY!! Welcome back to another Gameplay! We’re in Strangertown again, and I’m bringing you the latest news!!

A lot of years have passed in Strangertown, and as you know, sometimes we just gotta leave our parents’ house, just like what happened with John Smith:

On the same day, Ophelia and John decided to make their marriage official, taking advantage of the family vibe. Everyone there knew it was true love, and honestly, Ophelia really needed to get married — she probably couldn’t stand living in her old house any longer.

After her aunt passed away, Ophelia got a nice inheritance: 130,000 simoleons (most of it’s stashed in savings)! More than enough to support the new family for years. But Ophelia and John had other plans:

Knowing Strangertown would soon be too small for them, the couple bought this little house in Baskerville. John, even without going to college, landed a job as a Musician, and Ophelia got a sweet promotion in her journalism career. Looks like that yellow house is gonna be stable for a while!

Just as planned, the couple wanted to have a baby, but Ophelia was struggling to get pregnant. So they ended up inviting Kim Anderson, the head of the Strangertown orphanage, to talk about it.

Off Topic: Ningmus, the parrot, died mysteriously—probably because John didn’t clean his cage, man, what a screw-up!

The couple ends up adopting Andreka, the chubby and super sweet dog (who used to be pretty aggressive), as part of the fam, and guess what—surprise! Ophelia’s pregnant with a boy!

The kid’s name is Johan ("Jonas" in Portuguese), and he’s literally a mini version of his dad! So cute!!!

I recorded this gameplay kinda messy since I was playing in the middle of the night, but here’s the gist of it:

LET’S GO TO THE GRUNT FAMILY!

The General, dad to all the boys, orders a military prep since Ripp and Tank are about to come of age. During this time, Ripp rebels and, after tons of emails and begging to La Fiesta Tech, he manages to get funding for his college. His dad was ready to pay for it, though, since he believed everyone should follow the military path.

Seeing his strength fade and age catching up, Buzz (the general dad) gives in and lets his son go to college. Tank, though, is super pissed—his dream was to study at Le Dance Academic to become a dancer, but he gave up his dream to please his dad. Angry, Tank stays in town, while Ripp leaves right after Buck’s birthday. Buck’s shaping up to be a great education professional, just like he always wanted.

Buck and Jill Smith, already teenagers, make it official and start dating:

Ripp’s now at college, studying Arts and aiming for a music career:

Tank’s at home, trying his best to get more promotions in the army and make his dad proud. He’s terrified of disappointing him, especially now that his dad’s getting older:

GAMEPLAY: PLAYING IN STRANGERTOWN!

Heyoh people! Today I brought a bit of my gameplay! I don’t live off builds only LOL. Check out everything that’s been happening in my Strangetown save and all the latest updates so far!

I personally love Strangetown and all its eccentricity — that desert vibe really reminds me of '90s movies, and it fascinates me how, no matter how weird it looks, everything still feels well-built and harmonious. EA and Maxis really put their hearts into it!

Buuut… I had to give it my own little twist hahaha! I added a few lots here and there, created some background sims, set up their wants, careers, and fixed a few details that were off — and well, here we are! Ready? Let’s go!

So, I went with the Curious Family, just like the Strangetown Play Order suggests. As expected, Pascal gave birth to Thyco, the alien baby, and right after that, Vidcund ended up pregnant too. Surprisingly, Vidcund had a baby with a totally human appearance, his name is Orion. At one point, I accidentally left the game unpaused for a while, and I think Vidcund might’ve gotten pregnant again hahaha!

Pascal and Nervous got engaged and are planning to move in together and start a family. Lazlo’s doing the same with Crystal, while Vidcund’s still set on rescuing Circe.

The house is getting a bit cramped, but there’s still room for everyone!

The second family is the Specter household. Olivia makes peace with the General before he leaves, while Ophelia keeps herself busy with her new job as a journalist, school photo class in the afternoon, and sneaking out with Johnny in the middle of the night...

For the first time ever, a Sim in my save literally fell asleep standing up LMAO!

Also, the fake Bella Goth just casually strolling around...

We almost died of fright!

But the heart made room for forgiveness. Facing her impending death, Ophelia demanded a midlife crisis within 24 hours: retire, buy a car (which she barely used), study like crazy, and learn new skills.

I made her donate part of her fortune to her son, encouraging him to get away from Loki’s place. It was a bit over 20k simoleons — enough for a house in Baskerville (the sub-hood where I send the younger sims and post-university grads).

Hula Hula, Tiiki Tiiki! Unfortunately, Olivia passed away right as Ophelia was at her prom school party, stepping into adulthood...

The New Police Station in Bridge Valley

Hi, everyone! I promised to continue the project, and here I am! I'll try to post at least three completed structures per day. Today, I’m showing the small police station I built in Bridge Valley.

Well, it's not exactly what you’d expect from a more sophisticated prison. I think it’s only meant for minor thefts and complaints like “my neighbor stole my flowers” — something along those lines, hahaha!

Bridge Valley: A Sims 2 Project Life

Bridge Valley is a personal project, in which I use the wonderful map by Ângela Ester, inspired by Feverfew, but in a simpler way (My system does not support the massive Criquette project 😓).

It is quite an old project, I started in 2022 and I lost the files constantly, now I am decided to start again and share the process with you!

As a test of this return and debut of the project on Tumblr, I brought you this family building, consisting of two apartments (one of them accommodates a couple and the other accommodates up to 5 people due to the extra attic), a living area and laundry!
