I had the idea today to draw someone in complete back and white (and gray)

So here’s what I came up with

2D’s white eyes.

With the release of the Humility video, we had the bomb drop of a Powerpuff Girls crossover with the addition of Ace from the Gangrene Gange to the band. But that’s not the only reference to pop up in the video…

Aka, this (literal) cheeky devil:

So what’s this got to do with 2D’s white eyes? Well, first of all, his eyes are black as a result of fractured irises from Murdoc related car crashes. Also, who else in the crew has white eyes?

Russell Hobbes. And why are his eyes white? The permanent side effect of HAVING BEEN POSSESSED. This leads me to think that 2D is being possessed by Him, and Russell knows it. First off, notice how graceful and confident “2D” is while he skates through the video?

I don’t think we’ve ever seen this in 2D before. There’s also the emphasis on 2D’s hand as he offers to help the other skater.

Him has claws, so this is a fairly paramount difference between the two characters. A minor idea, but it caught my eye. Also, what if the guy could see Him inside 2D, and that’s why he freaked out? This is another reason I believe Russell could see Him as well, because after he trips 2D (which is more a prank Murdoc would pull on him, rather than his best friend, without reason) Russell has this look

being intimidating. After the trip, 2D gets up

AS HIS EYES CHANGE BACK TO BLACK. He then skates off with the skill and confidence of a newborn giraffe and falls on his face… Pretty sure that’s no coincidence. Now, the reason I’m fairly sure it’s Him possessing 2D is because of Murdoc’s original deal with the devil to gain fame and glory through music. Pretty sure He has some plan to get at Murdoc through his band after The Boogeyman failed to collect his soul.

Remember when the Gangreen Gang got their bodies swapped w/ some teenage girls? 💅

This episode left me with more questions than answers though, like how did the gang react to having their body swapped with female bodies? How did they respond once they were changed back? Did they leave the nail polish on (some boys are unaware of the existence of Nail polish REMOVER)? Did they lowkey like having their nails painted and makeup on? The world may never know for sure, but one thing I do know is that these words were definitely exchanged between the boys, “No one must ever speak of this, got that?” and “WAIT, don’t throw that magazine out, I’m almost done reading Stuart’s profile- I MEAN I NEED IT TO KILL THE ROACHES”
