So it has been a little over a month since I reconnected with my ex.

The very ex that is on the beginning pages of this blog... years ago.

The same ex that I basically created this blog to vent as my own physical journal.

This blog has counted as my outlet for so long and its so strange to see repeat characters.

So the ex.

After having a very good therapy session with my therapist I decided to reach out.

I have created a rule that I wasnt going to, or if I did it would be very infrequent.

My therapist pointed out my issue of clinging on to things longer than I should and not giving other things chances because I don't think they will last.

Nothing last forever. Enjoy the things and lessons knowing that.

Not saying you have to be out there...just not so rigid in only wanting things that are said to last-because nothing does.

Now..

My ex is away in NY this weekend and will return Sunday.

I don't really expect to hear much from him until around my birthday.

Im doing my best to limit my expectations...but a girl can dream- he is everything I want in a person.

God if it isn't him- please send me a man that is built the same but better.
