Legacy Update!

It has been a LONG TIME since I updated you guys on the Yuan family, but so much has happened! Buckle in and get ready for the drama.
Jessie is now a married young adult! He married his high school sweetheart, Clare. He works as a bestselling children's author and is an amazing father to their two children.
Jessie and Clare's oldest is Tao Yuan, who is only a toddler at the moment. Unfortunately, Clare's second pregnancy did not happen so easily. She came home from work one day with painful cramps, and Rosa rushed to the hospital with her since Jessie was not home. Their second child, a girl named Mei, was miscarried. Jessie and Clare were hesitant to try for another baby after the loss of their second, but Clare had a feeling that this next one would be okay. They ended up pregnant with another, named her Thalia-Mei, and she was born a month early. Despite this, she is a healthy baby girl and the next heir of the Yuan family.
Julianne is also a young adult! She is studying biology at the University of Britechester and plans to become a bodybuilder and explore her mother’s home town of Mt. Komorebi. She is in a long-term relationship with Pelham Behr, the son of Rosa’s long-time friend Candy. Even though the commitment makes her nervous, she is very happy with him and doesn’t play to end the relationship any time soon. If only he would stop asking for kids with those big doe eyes of his...
There are two living children so far in the third generation of the Yuan legacy:
Tao Yuan, a toddler with an affinity for thinking and creativity
Thalia-Mei Yuan, the baby born with her family’s legacy on her shoulders.
I will post update profile of each living legacy member (and death announcements of the founder and primary spouse), but here is a short blurb to hold you over until then! I apologize for the long gap between updates.

The Yuan Legacy
Rosa Yuan, born to a Komorebian father and a Sulani mother, moved to Newcrest to build herself a new life. Her goal is to create a legacy that will live beyond her and create a community where all can find a place to call home.

Hey simmers! I am here with a brand new legacy family, the Yuans. I've decided to create a Tumblr for this family after my last legacy save was deleted and I lost everything. If that happens again, I want the family to be memorialized in some way.
The Yuan family is the start of a Legacy challenge, in which the player has a variety of points and milestones to achieve in 10 generations of a single family. You start the challenge with 1 young adult sim, your Founder. The Founder then must find a Primary Spouse and produce the next generation of children, one of which will named Heir and remain in the main household. It's super hard but really fun, and it's my favorite way to play the Sims!
I hope you guys enjoy the story of the Yuan Legacy. Wish me luck!

The Home

Started from the bottom now we here.
It's not much to look at now, but it's the start of something amazing. The garden in the rear is the main moneymaker for the family, but is now mostly barren from winter. Built from thr ground up by Rosa herself, this family home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a den, and a workspace in the foyer. Not bad for a woman with no prior construction experience.
