ANNOUNCEMENT

To my followers, new and old: I'm sorry that I've been absent for a while.

I lost interest in the Sims Freeplay around August of last year (mostly for game mechanic reasons), and then the (newest) Palestinian genocide perpetrated by the Israeli government since October 7th 2023 and my political advocacy and activism against it has taken up much of my free time.

If that makes you want to unfollow me - GOOD. GET TF OUT. Full stop.

I'll be taking a longer break, since I don't really want to give support to an IP that has said NOTHING against the occupation, apartheid and genocide of an entire indigenous population.

I cannot even begin to describe to y'all how ECSTATIC I am that eyebrows are now a separate category. I have been wanting this feature for YEARS. It's such a simple thing, but it really enhances CAS so much!

Note: this feature applies to the men as well, but I've always had more trouble with women because they used to have it so the eyebrow color was in the same category as makeup, so if you picked colored eyebrows then you couldn't pick makeup.

Another note: you can choose eyebrow colors for adult, teenage, and preteen ages. I'm not sure about senior though, I haven't tested it. I just have an overwhelming abundance of adult sims in my game rn.

Upstairs landing redesign for the Demidova-Goth Albion Terrace estate.

Decided to make a renovated castle build, and moved in Prince Theodore and Princess Olivia. I was inspired by seeing a few old European castles converted into family homes with some modern touches (hence the mix of the stone windows and the large glass ones).

The ladies of the royal family working at the SimTown Demidova-Goth Museum and Art Gallery.

The Museum is completely non-profit, free to visit, and operates through donations from the royal family (just like the Goth Horticultural Institute).

Although they do employ a few members of staff (such as a curator, a few docens, a maintenance and culinary staff, an art instructor and a sculpturist), they gave the staff a paid-day off and decided to run the Museum themselves.

Darcy and Yeli got married in the garden of their farmhouse! 👰🤵💗 Guests included Darcy's parents Brandy and Forrest, Darcy's younger brother Kameron (and his girlfriend Ellen Schultz), Yeli's older sister Sharon and her wife Laura, and their children Trey and Carson.

Jing Lee, one of my favorite sims at the moment. She's married to Julie Lee (pictured above) and they have two kids, Gil (teenager) and Tamara (toddler). She's a microbiologist and research coordinator at the SimTown science lab. She loves gardening and she's an aerobics instructor!

I agree. I'm basically just slugging through the big events that I can finish quickly so I don't waste too much time on it. I've been much more into the elder scrolls lately, specifically oblivion.

What's y'all's opinion on the MidTown Cafe update? Personally I'm not really much of a fan, but I also don't think I understand it very well lol.

Yeah I've been trying to complete it, but there's so much grinding involved and (like with the pregnancy events) I just can't be bothered. You can't skip through shifts either which is so annoying because each shift is five hours long.

School Daze

Aged up four of my preteens; Darcy Yokley, Trey Schultz, Gil Lee and Yeli De Anda. They're all best friends.

Darcy is the son of Brandy and Forrest, he's a dreamer who loves animals and wants to travel the (sim) world. Trey is the son of Laura and Sharon Shultz, he has dreams of being the next teen idol, and he's a bit arrogant. Gil is the son of Jing and Julie, he's a very chill minimalist with a passion for surfing and meditation. Finally, Yeli is the daughter of Kailey and Leo, and she's a bit of a badass pretty girl (think Maddy from Euphoria, if you catch my drift) who wants to go to the sim Olympics for diving.

They're kind of my favorite Sims right now 😍 I love when I have enough teenage sims to have a friend group.
