Hey, I just wanted to let you know that the panting/picture from your Kauri living conversion still has the guid of the Red vs Blue base game picture and is overriding it in game.

Hi sils! I love your moonwood garden conversions, but I noticed an issue with the 2-tile planter- sims can't actually use it, are "blocked" by it when they try to plant something and do the "something is in the way" complaint (the 4-tile planter works fine though). I also noticed it has 3 OBJDs, while other 2-tile planters have only 1. maybe that has something do do with it? (it's also not great regarding the object limit and doesn't seem necessary). Any chance you could fix this maybe?

Hey y'all! I hope everyone is doing well. Nooboo has been keeping me busy -- thank you for all the congratulations and well wishes! 🤱 She's seven months old now and I'm kind of in the mood to finish some of the projects lurking in my WIP folder (and also fix one of my conversion sets because it's been broken frogging forever).

BUT my game had gotten messed up and I had to uninstall it a few months ago. No big deal, I had thought, I'll just reinstall it aaaaand...

Yeah. I unknowingly uninstalled it right after EA DMCA'd a twenty-year-old game in a shameless cash grab (you know, instead of making a good new game, for which I would happily pay). 🤦

~So if a reliable source happened to anonymously end up in my asks, it most certainly wouldn't burn my biscuit.~

That aside, though, is it worth buying the new version? Did they actually fix any of the issues with running it on a modern system? I'm on Windows 10 (and will not be upgrading, fuck off, Microsoft) with an AMD Radeon RX5700 XT graphics card, curious about experiences y'all have had with the redux?

Calico Critters - 12 Original Animal Posters

Sul sul! I hope everyone is doing well! 💜 I'm back with some totally original posters and a couple of announcements!

My daughter has been home for a few months now. She's healthy and happy, so I'm also happy. I'd planned to go back to work at the library this month, but that...did not pan out. So I've been busy working on some alternative avenues to support us.

This Simblr is almost three years old and I've always been adamant about never monetizing it. I still am. For me, this is all about having fun, sharing my creativity, and being part of an amazing community.

So, 2024 has been kind of crazy. 😅 A lot of things changed for me this year, but the biggest change just happened at the end of October when I gave birth to my first nooboo. 💜 She came into the world early, but she's healthy, tiny and fierce, and I'm very grateful for that!

However, she hasn't been able to come home yet, and I find myself very restless during the hours I'm not with her at the hospital, so I'm trying to remember how to do this crazy thing called modding. No promises (I'm doing pretty well with the postpartum, but my brain is...kind of itchy these days), but I'm hoping to have some new content to share soon.

I hope everyone is healthy and doing well! Thank you for all the love and support, even while I've been dormant -- it was a nice surprise to login and see how much activity I've missed. 💜

Sunny Shades - 4t2 Base Game Conversion

Happy Friday! Today I'm sharing another curtain conversion! Details and download below. ☀️

I finally got the meshes for the TS4 base game Sunny Shades extracted (did you know you can have multiple versions of Blender installed simultaneously? I did not, or else these would have been done weeks ago 😅). They come in all 20 original colors (with recolors in the pipeline). I'm reusing the swatch from the Popped Color Curtains because they're the same colors:

Once again, I separated the rod and curtains into subsets so I could recolor the hardware (they’re attached to the mesh and recolors 10-13). The right curtain is slaved to the left, and the shine has been removed. A numbered version of the swatch is included.

One Stop Souvenir Counter - 6 Destination Recolors of 4t2 One Stop Thrift Counter

Just a quick recolor I wanted, details and download below! 🌴

I recently picked up @platinumaspiration's 4t2 conversion of the One Stop Thrift Counter and shamelessly slapped my Hello, World Travel Posters onto it for all your tourist trap needs. There are six recolors (which is a generous term, since I didn't actually recolor anything other than the posters):

I tried to choose suitable counter colors for each destination (like the red and black for Takemizu Village). A numbered swatch is included so you can easily keep just what you like (the texture is mirrored - learned that the hard way 😂 so the swatch is backwards. It's all good in game, though). Meshes are NOT included; make sure you grab them here!

Would there be any interest in these with hobby posters as well? I'd actually make an effort to recolor the base so it wouldn't get too redundant. Let me know if that's something you would want!

Intimate Ottoman - 4t2 Base Game Seating Conversion

Another small conversion to share today! I love ottomans and this one is soooo pretty, I'm surprised it wasn't converted already! 🌿

This is a conversion of the base game Intimate Ottoman, which is a lovely cross between shabby chic and classy luxe (imho). I added subsets so you can mix and match the wood and and cushion colors. There are 24 cushion colors and 11 wood colors:

I only swatched the cushions since the wood textures are not nice for swatching. There is a numbered swatch included, but please be aware if you're deleting recolors -- some of them have the wood colors attached. If you do want to pick and choose, please let me know and I'll post all the necessary information (forgive my not posting it by default, I'm a little stressed for time right now).

Backyard Benches - 3 4t2 Base Game Conversions

Happy Sunday everyone! I have a few more bench conversions to share today. Details and download below! 🌹

I adore outdoor furniture, so these have been on my conversion list for awhile. There are three benches included (left to right in the preview): Must Be Loveseat, Retrositter, and Balanjar Teak Two-Seater Bench. They've all had shine removed and come in their original TS4 colors (24 for the Must Be Loveseat, 3 for the Retrositter and 9 for the Balanjar Teak).

I did not swatch these since the textures aren't really swatch-friendly; please let me know if you need help identifying any colors you don't want (is that a thing? I'm such a CC hoarder I really don't know lol).

Files are organized into individual folders so you can easily keep just what you want.

Parking It Bench - 4t2 Base Game Conversion + Add-on

Good morning! Sharing a quick conversion before I head into work -- details and download below.

I really love the design of this park bench. It originally comes as a 3-tile seater, which is pretty cool for an outdoor bench, but I also wanted a 2-tile version. The 2-tile add-on is repo'd to the 3-tile, so you might notice a little bit of squinching on the rivets, but I didn't think it was enough of an issue to abandon the idea. Comes in the original four TS4 colors, shine removed:

Pretty much does what it says on the box. If you already have one of the DRs from Bugs & Bugs or Animals & Animals, you'll need to pick one. The default from this set is, of course, the sheep (recolor 07).
