Tods, Tods, Tods

The twins have gotten a room makeover and I'm a little obsessed. I'm seeing that Aria is developing a pink obsession so that was incorporated with Ainsley's favourite colors: every color!

They are A LOT easier to take care of now that they are tods and Haven can finally catch up on some sleep.

So after kissgate, Valerian quit her job as their ranch hand. She stops returning Connor's texts and calls for a while and Connor starts to get worried. One day she shows up at the house and Connor is so excited to see her. He offers her a rose and she accepts.

She apologizes for disappearing but had to think for a bit. She doesn't think it's right to start something when he engaged to someone else, and someone she really likes.

Connor goes on his BS again and lies saying they actually broke up and are in the process of separating.

"Really?" she says, excitedly.

"So ... I'll see you tonight?" Connor replies.

"Ok."

Flop behavior.

Imma kill this man ... also birthday!

Connor is a moron.

He calls Valerian and asks her to meet him in Brindleton Bay.

"From the way you sounded on the phone, I was worried," she says.

"Haven and I are getting married," he replies.

Valerian tries to act excited but Connor can see there's disappointment in her eyes. He tells her that he loves Haven and wants to be with her, and whatever this is, can't happen.

Valerian understands but the look in her eyes keeps Connor wanting her even more. She gets up to leave, getting more upset, but Connor stops her. And kisses her. (f this man fr)

Meanwhile, his beautiful, amazing fiancee is preparing the twin's birthday with a set up in the front yard and a batch of cupcakes. Grace and River come over to help out and catch up. Grace asks how Connor is and Haven announces they are engaged! ... and grace's reaction is ... less than excited lol. She's happy for her of course, but since meeting Connor, she hasn't been quite thrilled with the prospect of her daughter marrying him.

The party starts and Haven whips up two cakes for the girls, one vanilla and one chocolate. So many Montgomerys' are here and it's all in collective agreement that Connor is .... alright? But maybe Haven sees something in him they don't. It's not their place to say I guess.

Aria and Ainsley blow out the candles and meet their family members. Over all, good birthday!

You can't have both CONNOR!!!

Valerian invites Connor to her house and turns out ... she's RICH RICH. She explains her parents are very influential in Willow Creek as politicians, and they paid her to move far away as she was a "bad influence" on their reputation when she was younger. Connor can relate to that for sure.

Connor loves Haven, sure, but he's beginning to wonder if he can have Valerian too? Maybe he can make this work. (he is delusional ok)

The romance festival is on in San Myshuno and for their first date night in MONTHS, Haven and Connor go. There's still a little tension from their fire fight and they haven't talked much recently. They grab some sakura tea and really start feeling the effects. Who is Connor kidding? Haven is the love of his life! He only wants to be with her, and he doesn't care who knows it!

He apologizes for being so stupid the last few months and in the heat of the moment, surrounded by the bright lights and rose petals, he pops the question.

Haven can't believe it! Yes, yes, yes! The next day they have a spring family photo shoot. What a cute little family :) Let's hope it stays that way ...

Family Reunited & Budding Friendship?

Winnonah and Jacob host a family reunion at Grace and River's house. Turns out they eloped a few months ago, but they decide to renew their vows in front of all their family. It's really great for Haven to hang out with her family, and she lets out her frustration in her relationship with Winnonah.

"I totally get it. Men can be so useless sometimes" she says. They laugh it off and it makes Haven feel better that she isn't going crazy. She of course still loves Connor, but wish he could help her out more.

Meanwhile, back at the house, Connor and Valerian have opened a bottle of nectar and are relaxing after a long day at the ranch. Connor feels like he can talk to her for hours! And he's been really needing someone to vent to about Haven. Valerian gives Connor her number if he ever needs to talk things through.

They begin texting non-stop, sending funny jokes back and forth. Haven hasn't really noticed this as she's always with the girls.

Connor gets a text from Valerian saying Spider Wilder asked her on a date and she doesn't know if she should say yes! Spider is a nice enough guy (besides the fact his name is Spider) but Connor can't help but feel ... jealous? He says it's not a good idea without thinking. Hmmmmm I don't like this....

Ainsley is improving her skills very fast and can already sit up! Aria is a little farther behind, just learning how to roll on her stomach, but that's ok. Talking with Valerian, she's been telling him that she can't do it all herself and she would really appreciate some help. So now Connor is trying to prioritize the girls over the horses and house work, and Haven is noticing.

He is also working long nights and his work is getting more stressful. He's forced to hide bribe money around the house but he will do anything for his family. Haven picked up his phone one day while he was outside to take a message and a rather threatening person was on the other end.

"Who is this?" she says, but the caller hangs up. She asks Connor about it and he panics a little.

"Oh, it's nothing, just my work friend playing a prank on me, haha," he laughs nervously. Haven believes him and so she drops it.

Connor and Valerian are chatting a lot while they take care of the horses. Connor thinks she's great and a good distraction from constant baby care. He loves his girls of course but could use a break every so often. Sleep deprivation is very real with them right now and it's hard to get in naps when one baby always needs something at all times. Haven has been taking the brunt of the baby care, hoping Connor can do the cooking and cleaning. However, in his sleepy haze, he starts a fire! They rush out of the house with the girls and wait for the firemen to take it out. Luckily, their insurance covers the stove and the counter, but Haven is not impressed. She has a short fuse nowadays and they get in a big fight about Connor's incompetence.

Things aren't looking good for them right now.

The Family Life

They decide to build a new house, and repay the debt over time. Haven is elated to be a mom, and yes money is tight, but she showers her two girls, Aria and Ainsley, with her love every day. It feels like her true calling to raise these two and she couldn't be happier. This causes a slight drift between Connor and Haven. They've had no time to themselves and it's been a while since they can spend quality time together. To help around the house, they decide to hire a ranch hand, who will take care of the horses and cleaning. She's a massive help and Connor takes the time to thank her for her services. Her name is Valerian, and she takes up odd jobs around the town including ranching.

The twins age into adorable infants, and Haven gets back to work entering Twilight into competitions.

Haven gets comfortable in her new home quickly. The nursery is set up. Haven is frustrated she can't ride while pregnant, but she finds a task in re-decorating the house to keep her time busy.

To make up for Haven's lack of income, Connor has been working longer shifts at a business' firm downtown. It's not a ton of money, and Connor is secretly concerned they won't be able to keep up. What haven doesn't know is that he blew his inheritance already on a slight gambling addiction ... but she doesn't need to learn that. One day at the office, Connor gets a call for a job offer ... as a criminal. He denies it at first, knowing Haven would never be ok with it. But the money is good and it's just one job right? It's for the betterment of their family. So he accepts, and decides to keep up the "business" job up around Haven.

A few days later, Carter pulls up to the house while Haven is taking a nap. Connor answers the door and knows exactly who he is. Carter is confused and just wanting to know where Haven is. He tried to visit her house but it was up for sale and she was no where in town. Connor insists that she's fine and he wants Carter off his property, so he leaves.

The next few weeks are busy with the ranch. Haven does her best to clean and maintain the stables, while Connor takes Twilight and his horse, Ziggy Stardust, out for joy rides. Connor used to be put into horse competitions when he was younger so he continues to keep up Twilight's training.

The snow finally melts and brings new things ... like Haven going into labor! She gives birth after a rather short labor experience to a baby girl. Actually scratch that. TWO BABY GIRLS. Yes twins!

Connor and Haven are SHOCKED to say the least as they didn't want to know the gender before. But they were not expecting this! They could barely afford one baby, and now they have two??? Uh oh... I guess Connor is going to have to take a couple more jobs...

Uh Oh!

Haven and Connor start dating and can't get enough of each other. A few weeks in, Haven wakes up ... nauseous? She decides it's probably food poisoning and takes it easy. Over the next few weeks she notices more symptoms - gaining weight, cravings, bloating. She begins to wonder ... is she pregnant? She tests and turns out she is!! Crap! what is she going to do?! She calls her mom to come over for advice and Grace explains that she was in the exact same position when she was dating River in high school. That baby ended up being Jacob, Haven's older brother, and it was the best thing to happen to her. This comforts Haven, and although she may be too young to start having a family, she knows she wants to be with Connor forever.

She tells Connor and he's surprisingly very excited. He demands that Haven moves in with him right away, so she packs up and moves across town. The family has quickly gone from a girl and her horse to two horses, two goats, and two sheep, with a baby on the way!

A Disappointment

Haven wakes up in the morning with Connor by her side. Wow ... how much did she drink last night? She remembers it all, but she's never done anything like this! Haven wonders if this is destiny though, that she was meant to meet Connor to mend her broken heart.

With her spirits in tact, she goes downstairs to make a nice breakfast for when he wakes up. She hears him coming down stairs just as she finishes but before she can get any words out, he quickly leaves, saying he had a great time and he would call her.

He closes the door, leaving Haven shattered again with her french toast. Was that just a one-night stand? Their talks meant nothing to him? Her sadness turns into anger, and she makes a vow to swear off relationships for a while if it's only going to give her trouble.

Did I mention it's also Winterfest? Haven has planned weeks before to have a family christmas, and they arrive soon after Connor's quick departure.

Ashley Parrish-Yates: "Oooo you made french toast?"

At least her cousin enjoyed it.

Haven tries to enjoy the day, appreciating her family and opening gifts. Twilight is introduced to River and Grace, but he gets spooked and retreats back into his pen.

Just when Haven is forgetting about her night, she gets a call from Connor. She contemplates answering it before putting her phone back in her pocket. If he wants to speak to her now, he's too late. He shouldn't have ran out the door if he wants to talk to her now.

Haven goes back to the bar a couple days later to hope her next prince charming is there yet who walks in ... connor.

She tries to ignore him at first but Connor confronts her and asks why she's ignoring him.

"Maybe it's because you practically ran out the door a couple days ago when I had made breakfast?"

Connor is shocked and had no idea. He said he had to go because he got a call that one of his goats fell ill and he had to run. He apologizes perfusely.

Haven feels terrible, assuming he just didn't care. She apologizes too and they agree to start over. And here we go again...

A New Man?

Haven's heart has taken a beating lately and she decides to go down to the bar to let loose. Having a bit too much nectar, she begins getting down country style on the dance floor when she spots a handsome stranger walking in. She follows him with her eyes across the dance floor ... and he turns back and smiles.

She builds the courage to talk to him after a bit more nectar and loses him in the crowd. She finds him outside ... building a snowman? She walks up and asks why he's making a snow man in the cold instead of being in the warmth of the bar.

The stranger says it's a tradition of his with his dad. He grew up in Chestnut Ridge and before there was a bar, there was a small park. He came here every winter, playing with his dad in the snow.

Haven's heart melts at his story and she introduces herself. He introduces himself as Connor. They finish up the snow man together and Connor offers to buy her a drink.

She knows she shouldn't but this kind, handsome stranger has something so charming about him...

Long story short, they have a wild night, dancing the cowpoke and sipping on their nectar drinks. Connor is fascinating to Haven! He was destined to take over his parents' ranch but decided to run away to Sulani to be a surf instructor and bar tender. After wandering and finding himself, travelling all over Sulani, his dad dies suddenly, forcing him to come home. He inherited a large fortune from their nectar selling business' (the exact bottles he and Haven are drinking!) and so he settled down in his home town, keeping on his dad's traditions.

Haven is hung on every word, enamored with this country boy.

"Do you wanna get out of here?" she says.

It's getting hot and heavy...

After the Carter debacle, Haven puts her focus into Twilight. They begin coming up the ranks in competitions, earning gold in jumping, barrels, and western style! Twilight is learning to trust Haven now and they have become quite good buddies.

Jacob also sits down with Haven and tells her he's going to move back to Moonwood Mill with Winnonah. Being a werewolf and a rancher isn't as pleasant as he thought and it's only a matter of time before everyone will find out in the small town and hate him. In moonwood mill he at least has his parents and the pack to feel more at home. But with Haven's competitions and nectar making, she's sitting pretty with her rent payments.

One day after coming home from the training center, Haven and Twilight come back to find Carter on the door step. He asks if they can talk and Haven doesn't have the heart to turn him away.

He explains that he wanted to tell her about Sobian but didn't know how. He did a lot of soul searching after the break up and realized he loves all people, no matter what gender. Haven is happy for him but can't help thinking he's the one that got away.

They chat all night, realizing how much they mean to eachother. Haven can't help it and he can't either and they find themselves leaning in....

No! Haven pulls away and says she can't do this. Carter's husband holds her career in his hands and could easily black list her and Twilight from all competitions if this happened. Carter is hurt but understands.

Clearly he has some thinking to do...

A Couple Months Later...

Months past and Haven gets comfortable in her new life. Her Chestnut Ridge is great, although there's not a lot of young people for her to hang out with. She hangs onto her family though, inviting her parents when she gets time off from training. Winnonah is really bonding with Grace, and they relate over their similar dormants (when grace was a werewolf).

Also to make some quick cash, Haven has taken up nectar making. She's watched Grace do it for years and thought she would give it a try.

While cleaning Twilight's pen, Haven gets a devastating call from her dad, saying her grandmother has passed away. Haven always wanted to be closer to Daisy, but given that they lived in different cities, it was always hard. Note: I posted Daisy's post a while ago so this timeline is a little confusing but I haven't played in a while and just catching up on the updates. So this is when Daisy passed but I just posted it earlier when it happened.

Haven is in a slump after this, longing for some sort of familiarity in this town to comfort her.

Knock, Knock.

Who turns up to her house? Carter ... of course.

"Surprise!" he says.

Haven is shocked he's here and welcomes him in. Although their breakup was hard, they've always remained friends, Haven just didn't understand why he was in town.

Carter tells her that he lives in Chestnut Ridge now! She can't believe it! Is this fate? They have such a nice time chatting and revert right back to their teen ways. Haven offers to buy him a drink so they walk down to the bar and have a nice night dancing. The night calms down as they sway on the bar's porch and Carter reveals something...

He's actually here ... because of his husband.

Who happens to be the horse trainer!!!?

Haven doesn't know what to say. Carter lives here now. He's married? He's married to a man? He's married to the man that she sees every day at the horse competitions????

She asks him to leave to process all this and he understands.

"I'll see you around town," he says.

Kato's Music and Haven Moving Out

Kato has aged into a normal teen (no wolf traits for him). However, Grace realizes Kato needs hearing aids after one too many times calling him and him saying he never heard her. They get him tested and fitted for hearing aids and Kato can't believe people always hear like this! He finds a passion for music with his new found ears, and he longs to be a great musician in his future. For now though, he has to live at home with his annoying parents (his words not mine).

Haven has also aged into a young adult, and finds a calling to the country life. Jacob moved out to a small two story with Winnonah to start his ranch life, and Haven asks to move in. He says more the merrier! (and we could def use the help on rent).

She moves in to the second bedroom. It's a weird dynamic, Jacob and Winnoah destined to be end-game, living with the younger sis tagging along, but they make it work. Haven starts looking into purchasing her first horse and she finds one that has had a troubling past and can be spooked often. Haven likes a challenge and adopts him, naming him Twilight. They begin training and although Haven gets bucked off Twilight's back more than she would like, she's determined to turn him into a champion and gain his trust.

In terms of her relationship with Carter, they try long distance with Carter back in Copperdale, but they soon fine they are living two very different lives. Haven meets up with him and decides to break it off. She's crushed but she knows its for the best. Besides, she needs to focus on her career now.

Big Updates for Haven

Haven got together with Carter to work on their project and they couldn't stop laughing and getting along. They barely worked and just chatted the whole time. They exchanged numbers and started texting constantly and hanging out at school.

One day Carter asks Hazel if she wants to go to the Boba Tea place as they are walking out of school. "Like a date?" she says.

"If you want?"

So they had a great time having boba tea and chatting more. He then asks if they should keep the date going by attending the Romance festival tomorrow night.

At the festival, Haven talks to the wise Romance Guru and she gives some ... interesting advice, "The one you are going with now may not be the only one along the way ... choose wisely."

This puzzles Haven but she tries not to dwell on it because she really likes Carter and could see him as the one! A couple days later, Carter calls and asks Haven to prom and she says yes, of course.

They have a great time at prom, taking photos, dancing, and chatting with their friends. Haven gets invited to an after party at the fair and she asks if she can bring Carter.

It's now 12 am at the Copperdale fair, and Haven and Carter are having a time on the romance ride and Ferris wheel in their prom get ups. At one point they realized everyone has gone home so they decide to go late night swimming.

Haven is having the time of her life and decides to kiss him. Carter asks her to be his girlfriend and she says she would be honored. After this, they hold hands between classes, and go on dates after school. A couple months in, they decide to get more serious, so Haven goes to the doctor to get a new prescription.

Jacob: No Longer A Teen Wolf

That title was a good one imma say that.

Also I took a photo of Haven walking by Edward Cullen and I just thinks that needs to be appreciated thank you.

Anyways, Jacob has his birthday at the bowling / roller blading place. It's a vibe, he invites the people he hasn't scared as a werewolf, including his girlfriend Winnonah. It's very cute until Jacob falls on his face... but it's fine, Winnonah also fell while skating. It's like they are awkwardly made for eachother?

Gen 4 Complete: Daisy Montgomery

RIP Daisy Montgomery.

She was vibrant and unafraid to be her quirky, colorful self. She loved painting, swimming, and people based on their souls, not their genders. She also was a beautiful mermaid who fell in love with Ariel! (not my doing shockingly).

She will be missed.

Prom Round 2 + New Romantics

It is the Jr. prom for Haven and the Sr. Prom for Jacob! Haven confidently shows up in a lavender dress, ready to dance the night away! Meanwhile, Jacob has been becoming friends with Winnonah, the daughter of Iris and Conchis, who are in the Wildfangs. She's a werewolf too and really gets Jacob's mood swings and transformations ... more than Bella ever did. I guess she just prefers vampires?

Anyway, the night was going great, Haven dancing with Jonas and Jacob dancing with Winnonah when he suddenly got a burst of rage and transformed right on the dance floor! People ran in terror, screaming their heads off. Luckily no one was hurt as Jacob quickly ran off into the night, rampaging.

To recover from the crazy night, Haven is invited to the carnival for an after-party. She tries to distract the rest from her brother by cracking jokes and taking their minds off what they have seen. She also goes for a romantic ride with Jonas but when she attempts to flirt, he laughs it off. She guesses he wasn't as interested after all?

The next day, Winnonah asks Jacob to come to her house. He apologizes for the night before and she says there's no need, she's definitely had her fair share of impromptu transformations in public. This makes Jacob feel a bit better and on a whim, he asks her out. She says she's been waiting and she's free now, so they walk to the bonfire and chat. They end up talking for hours, and getting cozy by the fireplace. She leans in and they share their first kiss! He asks her to be his girlfriend and she agrees immediately.

Meanwhile, Haven comes home late from prom and sleeps in. She talks to Grace the next day about her boy troubles and she breaks some ... unfortunate news to her. Jonas is ... her second cousin. AHHHHHHHHH.

Haven can't believe it! She calls Jonas over immediately and calls off any romantic interest. He is surprised, and Haven is surprised he's surprised. I guess he had actual interest after all? Well, Haven breaks the news that they are related and he completely agrees to call it off.

Haven feels a bit rejected. How has her first crush turned out to be her second cousin??? Ugh. She doesn't have time to wallow though as she has a group project with a guy for her science class. She gets online and messages him -- Carter Luke. He responds right away and they begin chatting about their project. Hopefully, she will get a good grade!
