Ambassador From Castille Meets With The King

Yesterday evening His Excellency Ambassador Ramon Cortez of Castille was spotted entering the Windenburg Palace to presumably meet with His Majesty the King. The visit is rumored to be a last minute meeting scheduled at the request of the Grand Duke Ricardo of Castille.

Relations between Lunaria and Castille have cooled significantly since the incidents surrounding the former Princess Isadora of Castille. (Rumored baby trapping? Murder for hire? Isadora Aguilar was a real piece of work!) The once close ruling families of the two countries have not been photographed together in years; a shock after the close bonds of friendship built when King Arden was a young Crown Prince during one of Grand Duke Ricardo's State Visits.

While Lunaria has kept up its treaties with Castille over the years, there is no longer warmth between the two countries. Tourism from Lunarians has dropped drastically according to the last census released by the International Tourism Association; many of our citizens consider it unsafe to travel there.

Perhaps this visit is an olive branch finally being extended by the Castillian government to our own? No official statements had ever been made by the Grand Duke or any members of his family in regards to the Isadora incidents, despite him quickly stripping her of her rank and titles after news broke about her criminal behavior. In fact, the Grand Duke has never even publicly acknowledged Her Royal Highness Princess Magdalena, his biological granddaughter.

We'd pay to be a fly on the wall at this meeting!

Minerva: You're way too far away to be asking me out for a run, Ana.

Annaliese: What's that supposed to mean? You love running!

Minerva: Driving three hours for a jog is ridiculous. Since when did you want to live in the countryside?

Annaliese: ...I didn't particularly want to, you know that. His Majesty doesn't want to see my face anymore, so what choice did I have?

Minerva: You're not one to give up so easily, so I find it hard to believe that you've abandoned me with all that testosterone in the capital just because your dad is mad at you.

Annaliese: I'm a pretty tough girl, Minnie, but I'm not going to antagonize the King for no reason. I'm busy enough as it is starting to plan my wedding and settling into the new house with Alexei.

Minerva: Uh-huh, sure.

Annaliese: Don't be mad! I'm still gonna help you with your wedding as much as I can!

Minerva: I'm not worried about that, I'm worried about you.

Annaliese: Awwww, Minnie, you're too sweet to me!

Minerva: You're not being funny, Ana! You've lost your dad, your brothers - despite my best efforts with Nicky…

Annaliese: I knew what I was getting into when I chose Alexei, Minerva. I expected this outcome, honestly. And I haven't lost everyone! I still have you and Mum.

Minerva: Always, Ana. I'm always on your side.

Annaliese: ...Thanks Mins. It's only a matter of time before Charlie barges back into my life, too It's not like him to care about politics and whatnot so I can't see him holding Alexei's stance in the HoL against him...much.

Annaliese: And at the end of it all, my big brother Nicky loves me. I know he does, so he'll come around! Especially if both of us nag him all the time. *laughs*

Minerva: *sighs* You're not wrong. But he does feel very betrayed, Ana, so I think it's going to take more time than you think. Your fiancé is technically our political enemy and Nicky and I don't have the luxury of not caring about politics.

Annaliese: Just do me a favor and arrange a meeting for the four of us, ok? If you and Nicky just get to know him, and learn about everything he's experienced with certain individuals from the HoL, it's sure to benefit you in the long run.

Annaliese: Contrary to popular belief, I wouldn't just outright betray my family. Alexei's been playing along to the whims of the HoL because of his ex wife's mistake.

Minerva: I don't know. Ana. It seems like a very convenient excuse if you ask me.

Annaliese: Please, have yourself and Nicky come and hear the story from the source first; you can make all your judgements afterwards. You can even investigate its authenticity yourselves.

Minerva: *sighs* Well, I am curious. I'll arrange something with Nicky, but no promises that he's going to be on his best behavior around the Duke.

Annaliese: I expect nothing less from my annoying big brother.

Minerva: *laughs*

Annaliese: Enough yapping about the family drama and let's race!

Minerva: Great! I'm picking the most expensive place here for the troublesome drive.

Pierrelander and Scottish Royal Families celebrate Christmas together

The Imperial Family of Pierreland and the Royal Family of the Scots wish their subjects a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The annual family gathering was hosted by TRH the Duke and Duchess of Rothsey at their country estate. Photos taken by a trusted staffer were taken for the first hour. The two families will ring the new year in together in Pierreland.

BREAKING: PRINCESS ANNALIESE BOOTED FROM ROYAL LINEUP

Well, well, well, looks like His Majesty the King has had enough! Today an official announcement came from the Windenburg Palace Press Office: Her Royal Highness the Princess Annaliese is a "HRH" no more.

After her (not-so-shocking) engagement announcement to the recently divorced Duke of Margate, it looks like King Arden has finally put his foot down. The official statement has been replicated below:

"His Majesty King Arden, First of His name, wishes for it to be known that Her Royal Highness the Princess Annaliese will henceforth no longer be a representative of the Crown. Her patronages will be returned to the Crown at once to be redistributed amongst members of the Royal Family, along with any assets belonging to the Crown and His Majesty. Out of respect for his late father, the King Vincent, whom adored the Princess Annaliese, His Majesty will still allow her to remain a legitimate member of House Quinn and keep their surname. From now on, she shall simply be known as Miss Annaliese Natalia Coraline Quinn."

Ouch. Talk about a fall from grace; although, can we really be surprised after she announced her engagement without getting permission from the King? Not even a beloved Princess is above the law in that aspect.

When consulting with our sources close to the King, we found out that things are actually so much worse between father and daughter than we're being led to believe (which is, in our opinion at least, insane because what could be worse than losing your title?).

She's no longer allowed within his residences and she's losing her inheritance...including her mother's tiaras and jewelry. The King has completely washed his hands of her."

Crown Prince Kellan of Windsor Weds

Earlier this weekend Lunarians tuned into the wedding of Crown Prince Kellan of Windsor and Lady Giselle Blackwell. Today, the Windsor Royal Family released official portraits of the bride and groom along with Their Majesties King Dante and Queen Ashli, the former Princess Royal of Lunaria.

The Windenburg Palace Press Office also released the above photograph in honor of the event with a personal message from King Arden:

"Congratulations are in order to my beloved nephew, Kellan, and his new bride, Giselle. I wish the both of you nothing but eternal happiness in your future together. Come visit me soon, Bug, so I can congratulate you in person. Love Your Uncle, Arden"

Crown Prince Nicholas and Fiancée Attend Windsorian Royal Wedding

What a lovely morning to see Lunaria's It Couple representing the Crown!

Today His Royal Highness Crown Prince Nicholas and his fiancée, Her Imperial Highness Princess Minerva, were photographed attending the wedding of HRH's cousin, Crown Prince Kellan of Windsor, and Lady Giselle Blackwell. The two matched wonderfully in shades of blue as they walked into Castorly Abbey. The late summer wedding is the couples first official foreign event as an engaged couple!

Also spotted in attendance were some well missed familiar faces! River and Amina Quinn, the notoriously private Sulani-based couple, were photographed looking as loved up as ever as they entered the Abbey ahead of their eldest two children. River had his arm wrapped lovingly around his wife in and adorable PDA moment as she seemingly laughs at a joke.

Kaleo Quinn, who has recently signed with the Sulani National Football League, shares an animated chat with younger sister Masina, who is set to start her final year of high school this fall. The two are incredibly close with their older cousin Kellan, having grown up together during the summers of their childhood.

We were also surprised to see TRH Crown Princess Diana, her husband Prince Stefan, and Princess Elizabeth arriving together to the Abbey this morning.

Well...mostly we were surprised to see Elizabeth.

While Crown Princess Diana has worked tirelessly alongside her father and mother over the years to represent the Rivenian Crown, Princess Elizabeth has become a bit of social recluse ever since that nasty business went down with our very own Prince Nicky. Perhaps she was hoping for one last chance to reunite with him before his wedding?

It looks like despite her best attempts, no such drama unfolded between the former childhood friends! Crown Princess Diana kept a close watch on her sister throughout the day and was never seen far from her side! Better luck next time Liz!

After a moving ceremony, all the guests were invited back to the Palace for a banquet and reception. None of the press were allowed in, but the Windsor Palace released a short video of the couple's first dance along with a few clips of the Royals mingling.

THE PRINCESS ANNALIESE ENGAGED....WITHOUT PERMISSION?!

Well, well, well, they sure move quickly!

The Savalani family announced the engagement of His Grace Alexei Savalani, Duke of Margate to Her Royal Highness Princess Annaliese of Ancastor along with the couple's official engagement photos. The couple posed for award-winning photographer Elsie Harrow-Bowes within the gardens of the Duke's official residence, Darklynn Manor, in the countryside.

Princess Ana wears red, a color normally associated with the Savalani family rather than the traditional light blue members of the Royal Family have worn for centuries. Is this a snub to her father and the rest of her family?)

While the announcement of their engagement isn't too surprising considering the two have been closer than ever since the Duke's divorce, we find that the Palace has been suspiciously silent on the matter. Traditionally the Windenburg Palace Press Office will release an official announcement straight from the King when one of his children is engaged to be wed (as seen earlier this year when His Majesty announced the engagement between Crown Prince Nicky and Princess Minnie of Pierreland). This announcement is confirmation of the King's blessing for the marriage, which is legally required for the marriage of any child of a King.

With crickets echoing from the Palace, we guess it's safe to assume His Majesty has probably been thrown for a loop with the sudden news. It's no secret that King Arden is not a fan of his daughter's relationship with the Duke (who is only a few years his junior) and has decided not to acknowledge the couple.

No one, of course, expects things to escalate that far since no King has acted so severely to an unwanted marriage since the time of the Mad King, Edward IV, around four hundred years ago.

A Royal expert claims that permission is coming any day now:

"I've watched [the Family] for years now and there's not a single thing King Arden has ever denied his youngest. He's always been strict with the boys; Nicky is his Heir and he expects much more of him than the other children and Charlie...well, he has always gotten into trouble and needed firm guidance from his father. But Ana? Ana is his little girl who reminds him so much of his late wife that he can never stand to see her upset or sad. She's never so much as stepped a toe out of line until now; I've seen it in action and know she can persuade His Majesty of anything. Permission will come and soon."

Not gonna lie, we're a little uneasy about this development since it seems like there's a lot at stake for our favorite Lunarian Princess! But congratulations are due to the happy couple...so congrats Your Royal Highness and Your Grace! Hopefully His Majesty is feeling lenient this week!

Palace Releases Two New Photos In Memory Of Crown Princess Calliana

Today the Royal Family's official Simstagram shared two never before seen photos of Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Calliana in honor of her death anniversary.

The first is a family photo of then-Crown Prince Arden, Princess Calla, and an infant Prince Nicholas in the gardens of the now-destroyed Whiteglenn Manor, which served as the couple's official residence throughout their marriage. The photo was taken about a year after Prince Nicky was born.

The second photo comes from the same photoshoot and depicts HRH comforting a fussing Prince Nicky who was, according to the caption of the post, quite frightened of the large snail statue behind them.

Over a decade ago Princess Calla was taken from us too soon by a successful assassination attempt at a charity gala inside the Palace. To this day, Lunaria mourns the gentle and incredibly kind woman who constantly went above and beyond in her duties to the Crown.

Rest In Peace Your Royal Highness, you will always be missed!

He's Free! Duke of Margate Spotted Sans Wedding Band!

Alexei Savalani, the Duke of Margate, has made headlines in the last few months due to his rumored separation from longtime wife, Reagan Bartholomew-Savalani, and his seeming relationship with the much younger Princess Annaliese. Today he's making waves after an official announcement from his camp that his divorce has been finalized. Looks like the Duke of Margate is very much a free man!

In a joint statement released by both the Duke and Duchess' official accounts, the two announced that they have been legally separated for over four years. The divorce process has apparently been ongoing for the past year while both the Duke and (now former) Duchess have maintained their silence. The two claimed that they ended their relationship over irreconcilable differences and wish to maintain their privacy at this time.

So, does this mean the Duke and Princess Annaliese weren't having an affair? According to a source close to [former]Duchess Reagan – no, they weren't!

"It's [the Duke and Duchess' relationship] been over for years now. They were unhurried in filing for divorce simply for convenience. They're both still really good friends and have a healthy amount of respect for each other so they decided to live separately without the hassle of going through lawyers and dividing assets. They both promised each other that if they found someone they truly wanted to be with they'd go through with a divorce though. A little over a year ago Alexei told Reagan that he'd found someone and that was it; no hard feelings."

If our source is to be believed it looks like the Duke and his former wife ended their relationship years ago and neither harbor resentment towards the other.

Duke Alexei continued his business as usual today during the latest House of Lords session in Windenburg. The summer sessions are almost at a close before a short three week break before the fall session begins.

He was calm and collected even after being spotted by the press on his way back to the HoL session after a quick break for lunch; declining to comment on any and all questions asked of him.

That's okay though! We have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of him in the future with our favorite Princess on his arm. Perhaps Her Royal Highness will give us more information soon?

Hortense: Well you have Magnus, who shares many of Oliver's qualities and no doubt your Louis shared those as well! Magdalena [wistfully]: yeah...[clearing her throat] Anyway! How was the opening of the child center?

Hortense: Oh it was wonderful! It filled my heart to see all those children smiling and happy. I see hope for them, I just want to ensure they can all be who they wish to be when they grow up. Hortense: Perhaps it's easy because it is right? You've said it yourself, no one knows you better. Magdalena: I know but [sighing] has he changed? Hortense: I would think so. I would hope so.

Magdalena: I'm not sure....Then again, Louis's not all over the tabloids so that says something for growth- Oliver: That is because the boy is so busy, he has to schedule his sleep Maggie. Magnus did tell me about your little tumble, and I won't lie, it had me in stiches. You should know better about tying your shoes Lou! The collab is still a thing, though I think it's still in the contract negotiation phase so nothing has come of it yet! Isn't Emi the one girl Henri used to date? Also, you work hard Lou. Magdalena: Go away Louis.

Louis: You're going to catch a cold

Louis [softly]: You know I can't do that..

Louis: Mama would have my ass if I let you get sick...

Magdalena: Why?

Louis: You're my best friend...You're one of the most important people in my life.

Minerva: Mon ciel étoilé! (My Starry Sky in French) You're early! Magdalena: Um...Mum do you have time- Minerva: Of course sweetheart. Priya, please let Empress Katalina know that I will call her another day. Tell her that Maggie and I send our regards. Minerva's assistant: Of course Ma'am.

Magdalena: Um...what did you and Auntie Kat need to talk about? If it's important I can- Minerva: Oh nothing too important, just some Ladies for Change ideas that Maria Aisha has. Kat wants my opinion on them is all. Please...let's sit darling.

Minerva: what is on your mind? Magdalena: Did you know Louis would be at the concert last week? Minerva[shocked]: No! Mon Dieu...he was there. I was hurting over your father and thought I could...use Lexios as a rebound since they were so different and since he was actually more like my type at the time. Minerva: Oh Maggie, my dear, He probably didn't expect to see you. That has to be the first time you've both seen each other in 3 years, That night must still hurt for both of you. But him going out the back, not being officially invited, he had every intention of not being noticed. [sighing] It makes sense given that your father and Louis are not on the best terms since he yelled at Louis- Magdalena[shocked]: Daddy yelled at Lou? Minerva: Of course he did! He's very protective of all of you, but very much you. Louis was the only person outside of the family that he trusted with you. And the fact that in such a brief conversation that night, a switch flipped and you suddenly wanted nothing to see him? Well, your father was very angry but more so disappointed in Louis. And I bet his parents also felt the same. David and Kat love you like one of their own, in fact I think David likes you more than Louis on some days. [Magdalena laughs] He has had to win back the trust of many people, you especially. Magdalena: He tried to gift me a Stradivarius a couple years ago...I sent it back... Minerva [shocked]: That is...quite the gift!

Magdalena: It felt like he wanted to...buy back my forgiveness... Minerva: ahhh...I can see both of your reasons. I think he may have wanted to prove that he listens to your dreams and that he supports you, however misguided the intention. But I understand you sending it back. After all, it takes more than gifts to earn a chance to be in your good graces. Magdalena [sighing]: Is it...wrong to miss him? I mean... I have Magnus...and I love him, he's been so supportive and loving but...[softly] it feels like something is missing...

Minerva: Not at all! You and Louis were as thick as thieves since the day you two met at his birthday party. You were at just about every big moment for each other. Like it or not, Louis is very much woven into the fabric of your life. Magdalena[whispering]: So...feeling like this....that's...normal? Minerva [comfortingly]: I would say so sweetheart. Your father and I went through similar feelings all those years ago...for me it's as if your father was popping up practically everywhere! I literally couldn't pick up a newspaper without seeing your father's name somewhere and not to mention your Auntie Ana kept talking about him. [Magdalena giggles] But it didn't hit me until that day at Whiteglenn- Magdalena[smiling]: I remember asking you to stay forever cause it'd make Daddy happy. Minerva [smiling]: I do too. Looking back, all my prior emptiness, was because there was a hole the size of your father in my life. And that day, I decided to fill that hole with your father and you because it felt like that was what should've been. Those bonds, are where I found my truest self.

Magdalena: But Louis has caused so much hurt and pain...even before then... Minerva: Yes, but he also brought so much good into your life no? Magdalena: Yeah...Magnus...suggested forgiving him... Minerva: You can. Magdalena: Even after all the hurtful things he said? How can I trust him? Minerva [sadly chuckling]: If your father can forgive me for all of the hurtful things I told him every time we split, I do think somewhere in that big Quinn heart of yours, you can find it to forgive Louis.

Minerva: You also don't have to forgive right away. You can forgive in stages if you want to. And I think Louis is well aware that your trust needs to be earned back, you just need to give him the chance if you wish. Magdalena: I...sort of wanted to that night...He looked so apologetic...but I don't want to be taken for granted again. Minerva: You will do what is right for you Maggie. Remember this, Louis will be playing by your rules if you decide to let him back into your life. After all, it has been 3 years and people change.

Magdalena: I guess...he's probably grown up a bit.. Minerva [chuckling]: Give him some credit, his brain is now fully developed [Magdalena giggles]

Nicholas: Mins, do we have the number for the Scottish Embassy? I think a Prince of theirs is missing- Magdalena: MAGNUS!

Magdalena [internally]: Fucking Lou...I just started to not feel that hurt and you decided to rip that wound right open by showing up. You have no right to just...pop up in my life like that

Magnus: Mo òran...you've been more...solemn than usual. What's wrong?

Magdalena: I don't want to talk about it.

Magnus [soothingly]: Darling...you know I'm not going to accept that as an answer.

Magdalena: Maybe you should Magnus...

Magnus: You know that you always feel better once you let it out...it's about what happened after the concert isn't it?
