@homijoh has very kindly let me convert her awesome spreadsheet into a wheel of chance cards, so my sims too will struggle in life.

In addition to the chance card wheel, there is a career wheel and a wheel of random occurrences which @anotherplumbob and I put together inspired by an old TS2 forum list.

This is solely meant to be seen as a resource for all players who struggle to come up with ideas for their game.

I hate useless lots and I was never going to have one of my sims live in an old shipwreck, so I decided to make the Admiral’s Wreckage lot in Sulani a bit more useful without completely changing it. Here is the result…

Admiral’s Research Center

Type: Museum

Few remember how or when an old trawler became so dramatically landlocked, but now it contains Sulani’s only Aquarium \ Research\ Conservation center.  The Admiral’s Research Center is a #1 stop for conservationist, ocean life researchers and tourists. Features a large fish aquarium, research center, and the sim world’s first “human” aquarium. No CC, but contains lots of resized and hidden objects. Must turn on the bb.moveobjects cheat in order for everything to show up. 

All fish disappeared from the build once it was uploaded to the gallery, so all fish tanks, including 6 resized hidden ones, have to be manually stocked by a sim for the fish to show up. See image below for help on where to find the hidden resized fish tanks located in the “pool” aquarium. Use bb.moveobjects to move the rocks around…pull out the small fish tanks, stock them with fish, then hide them in the rocks for the full aquarium effect.

What we didn’t need: an eye-searing UI update that excludes colorblind players.

What we do need: more content for elders, cars (even if it’s like Sims 2), an in-game dating app, burglars, memories/life-events being recorded, more challenging careers/gameplay, more POC content, another free town update, improved schools for kids along with the inclusion of the occasional field trip/school dance, better content for male sims, more toddler content bc they’re neglected despite them being added by popular player demand, gossip/rumors effecting a sims reputation, and just anything but this new UI update,

Greetings, simblr world! I’ve posted a few pictures here and there before on tumblr, but a formal introduction is long overdue. I’m 17 and mostly just a builder, although I hope to one day overcome my chronic “I’ll get around to it” syndrome and venture into making CC and writing stories. Be forewarned: I’m disastrously awkward. It’s a big step for me to actually post this, but I’m excited to finally reach out to become a part of this interesting and diverse community. This is was my build for @lilsimsie’s Simsie Shell Challenge. It’s my favourite build I’ve ever done, and seemed like a natural choice for the first thing to share with the community. The Sims also used an image of it in their Earth Day posts this year (something I still can’t think about without sweating and becoming irrationally nervous, so we won’t talk about that).
