Lady: We didn’t even have a proper wedding. We just went down to the courthouse on a Tuesday.
Dante: The judge sentenced me to life, with no chance of parole.
Lady: You begged me to marry you.
Dante: It’s true, I did.

Harmione.
Harry and Hermione realizing something on the hippogriff ride as the wind whips through their hair and Harry realizes how pretty Hermione looks with flushed cheeks and messier hair. He says nothing.
Hermione’s heart beating faster and faster eveytime Harry avoids the dragon in the first task, when he’s done, she wants to kiss him full on the lips. She doesn’t. She hugs him instead.
Harry following Hermione absent mindedly to the library and watching her stroke the spines of the books with gentle hands. Her lips slightly turned down in a frown. He wonders how they’d feel on his.
Hermione sitting next to Harry in the great hall, feeling his hand brush against hers accidentally and a shiver going down her spine.
Sitting in the gryffindor room together, everyone asleep and Hermione bent over her books, the warm glow of fire light on her face. Harry noticing how her skin shines and how perfect her features are, how her teeth add life to her face and how she squints her eyes when she concentrates.
Hermione walking alone with Harry through the halls and wondering what it would feel like to push him against the wall and snog him senseless. She blushes, pushes her hair back and walks away briskly muttering about home work.
Harry watches her walk away, feeling slightly empty.
They’re in the library, late at night. Harry stressing over Sirius and Hermione trying yo calm him. Hey eyes drop to his lips and her heart beats faster and fire shoots through her veins and then his lips are on hers and she’s ignited. Slowly, rhythmic movements and then faster, hungrier.
They pull away, her hair a mess, eyes bright, lips swollen. Harry’s eyes even brighter. A small smile on his face and a feeling he’d never forget in his stomach.
Soon, he’s pulling her into broom closets, hands wandering and lips moving. They shoe up to class flustered and flushed with dishevelled clothing and bright smiles.
Ron knows something is happening. He feels a pang. But soon he finds someone. Lavender showers him with attention and he’s content. What about Ginny? She’s too busy with her new girlfriend, Luna Lovegood, to care.
Hermione goes to the quidditch games and shouts till her throat is raw. After the match, Harry, covered in sweat and grime falls over with the force of Hermione’s hug.
Hermione gets a tattoo secretly. Its a snitch on her collarbone that moves whenever Harry touches her.
Harry seeing how intensely Hermione wants the house elves to be free and loving her all the more for it.
Harry and Hermione lie down under the stars on the quidditch pitch. Staring at the stars, pointing at the constellations, marvelling at the moon. Their eyes lit up with the sky.

I remember each lesson, and the eyes that taught them;
From the girl with eyes like river stones, I felt like I was known.
Forest shades, my heart had flown.
Sweet like honey, you felt like home.
Ruby hues, love, it was yours to own.
Ocean’s waves, in those I’ve grown.
Lost in eyes, where lessons sown, I hope my eyes taught lessons their own.

yo…. when jet breaks in the tea shop and accuses zuko and iroh of beinh firebenders….
do you think any of the patrons looked at zukos scarred face - obviously done by a firebender - and immediately think jet was an asshole? like
jet: hes a firebender!!!!
patrons, thinking about the backstory they concocted for zuko and iroh where their home was invaded by firebenders and they barely survived with their lifes so they could come and have a peaceful life selling tea in a city the war doesnt touch:

The Problem with Digital Photography
is that I never know when I'll see them again, time and friends lost in the ether, but that's so much like real life, isn't it? Those friendships slipping through fingers, keystrokes taken back, photos lost in the clouds. pressing the wrong button is so scary, isn't it? Data can be such a tricky thing, gone in a flash, lost among new things but that's so much like memory, isn't it? I worry that I'll miss the things I've seen, even when I know new things will come, but that's just part of life, isn't it? -Sinashi Itetso

A Cold Night's Embrace
Thank you for sharing that with me, Or maybe it was a gift? Just for me, You even left yourself out. A moment all for me, While you were lost in the sound. The way you held me, Words I never expected to hear. But honestly I wished it was for us, That quiet intimacy all but a memory.

You always got strange looks whenever you fed the neighborhood ravens. “I give them food, they give me company,” you’d say. One day, a raven excitedly comes up to you and whispers, “A neighbor plots against you, my lord.”

What y’all think ‘gifted child’ discourse is saying: I used to be special and now I’m not and that makes me sad.
What ‘gifted child’ discourse is ACTUALLY saying: The way many educational systems treat children who’ve been identified as ‘gifted’ is actively harmful in that it a. obliges kids to give up socialising with their same-age peers in favour of constantly courting the approval of adult ‘mentors’ who mostly don’t give a shit about them, b. demands that they tie their entire identity to a set of standards that’s not merely unsustainable, but intentionally so, because its unstated purpose is to weed out the ‘unworthy’ rather than to provide useful goals for self-improvement, and c. denies them opportunities to learn useful life skills in favour of training them up in an excruciatingly narrow academic skill-set that’s basically useless outside of an institutional career path that the vast majority of them will never be allowed to pursue.

Fighter: You and Barbarian get into a fight to the death, who wins? Paladin: You’re assuming either of us can die. Which is a little insulting?
