Command Squads are the best part of the Imperial Guard. Playing 500 point games with them felt awful, though - those points could buy more Guardsmen, and Guardsmen won games. Bringing them back as a compulsory purchase made me super excited, and that’s enough for me to finally start putting paint to these guys!

Painted up a Chimera for my Chaos rebels/Vraksians. I wanted it to look blasted and weathered by the elements. But also keep some form of regimental insignias to tie it back with the original use as an Imperial Guard vehicle. Adding the spike rails was an idea I had, but I don't like it when it gets in the way of the tank guns. The track guards were bought off Etsy. Named "Heretic Track Guards" if I recall correctly.

The Vraks Ogryns (to be used as less possessed looking torments for a IVth Accursed Cultists mob), went together quite well. Resin is resin though, some things I dont dare tweak at anymore in case they break (the jackhammer arm and the cinderblock hammer). Slapped some of the terminator trophy racks on a few of em for some extra presence. Came out not too bad altogether I think. Diving back into some (hopefully) final marines next, then it’s Rat Time again.

Their depravity is just one more reason for the Imperial Guard to always save a single round, just in case.
