Honestly I'm so sick of hearing about the new episode, I'm literally having to unfollow people who just keep repeating that Matt and Trey are terfs/transphobes. Like bro just stop watching the show if you're that heated about it, don't support the people that you're calling transphobes. It's like saying "I hate Disney" while wearing an outfit solely comprised of Mickey Mouse merch, jfc.

I feel like for the first time in a very long time SP has pissed off tumblr but lets not forget what the root of South Park was made of:

• poked fun of everyone, everything, of any race, gender, sexual orientation, and age. South park never drew a line unlike Family Guy who kinda drew a line somewhere.

• this show was really never catered towards people who are on tumblr of all places so its even surprising that show like this popped off on this website.

• this show was never for the faint or light hearted, thats for damn sure.

• im as "PC or SJW" as they come, trust me but like ive seen people say recently, if you get offended by these kinds of things, you shouldnt be watching south park. You have every right to be upset abt it but im just saying, south park has never really gave a fuck abt who theyre targeting.

• cartman literally called immigration on Kyle in the first ep and yall didnt say a word. Secondarily, on the topic of mr.eric cartman, if you guys got offended by any of this, you guys really need to remember the kind of character cartman was and is. Like think really hard abt it.

• dont expect an apology from matt and trey bc youre not gonna get one. Thats the bottom flat line.

• you guys dont get to nitpick what you like from the show and throw the rest away. (Not looking at Creek shippers but kinda). You either take the show for what it is or you have to completely ignore it. And that goes for any show in general.

• south park lives to piss people off. Look at how many got offended by all the Rudy Giuliani jokes last week? Do you really think they cared? No. Do you really think they care that people got pissed off this week? No.

• all im saying is, south park will always be what it was originally, poking fun of anything and everything, regardless of who gets offended and who doesnt and people who do get offended, youre giving the creators the reaction they wanted so yeah. Thats that on that.

Okay I lowkey hate the "Butters is a trans girl" hc. Like yeah, headcanon whatever you want, but Butters is like,,, literally the worst character to headcanon as a trans woman out of all the sp boys. Butters was the one to start the weiners out movement?? My mans literally pressed his dick against a window and rubbed it around because Stan tried to get back with Wendy??

Not to mention that I know that people only headcanon him as trans because he's feminine. Just because he likes Hello Kitty and tutus doesn't make him trans! Let gnc representation exist without immediately saying that they're trans! He's just a boy who like playing Hello Kitty Island adventure and wearing tutus!! That's okay!! Same thing with Eric. My boy can rock dresses, and that's cool!!! Just because they're gnc, doesn't mean they're trans.

Anyways before people say that I'm a transphobe, I have no problems with trans headcanons, or lgbt headcanons in general. I just really don't like Butters being headcanoned as trans because he likes girly things. It just further pushes the "only girls can like girly things and only boys can like boyish things!!" narrative, and also y'all are headcanoning a character who whipped his dick out during the american national anthem trans, like if any character wouldn't be trans, it'd be Butters.
