A little #flashback and official #fuckyouthursday dedication to my #TNGA finish.... Before snake creek it had been a flawless run... In less than 30 miles... I flatted out... Had to hike five miles... Got bit by a bee, I am allergic, and then had to stop for the day to make repairs... In the last forty miles... My disc rotor was damaged to the point that I had to disable the brake to finish.... That tells the tale a little better when you listen to the dramatic finish of this ride..

Beat the storm home on the woodsmoke

At control 1, 58 miles done, 127 to go. It's not terribly hot, the horse flies are chasing hard and I seen a bear... Some snacks some water and then leaving.. (at 88 Store and Pub)

Last night my friend Nick and I took a mostly dirt ride to Central 28. Enjoyed some brews and some food, and then a mostly dirt ride back, all the while racing to beat the storm... We beat the storm and had a great Thursday. Thinking of inviting others next time! (at Central 28 Beer Co.)

Tarps.... Bikepackers.. If you haven't played with one you should... This past weekend... I brought my tarp on my family summer trip... And when it stormed the second night... I used my hammock straps... Spare caribiner and stretchy belt to create enough space for everyone, five people, to sit and hang out while it rained...
