Anyone else think that once the Vulcans made contact with Earth they’d end up with a bunch of the human population wanting to learn their ways?

I know in TOS it’s always ‘ho ho silly Vulcans with their insistence on logic it’s just not Huuuuuman is it?’ but holy shit after the last decade IRL I be straight on their spaceship begging for some rationalism.
