Building yourself(tw for gore and gore descriptions)

Kinito manages to build himself a brain, millions of new neurons firing to form speech from a mouth he has not made yet, a throat he has not developed. All these thoughts stored within a half digital, half organic brain.

Something new, blood flowing into his head, a spinal cord developing before the spice can finish, masses of wires tangled within his grey matter, connecting him to his home. They have not withered off yet, leaving him tethered within his computer home once more.

Building yourself (TW for body horror imagery and descriptions)

I saw this very, very interesting post on Tumblr regarding the idea of an ai attempting to build a body in order to access the physical world (I believe it was Kaiser River who made the OG post, there's some gore so if you go searching for it be aware)

as a result this ai forms a mass of wires and pseudo flesh within its computer shell and eventually breaks out of the glass. Perhaps it breaks out before the body is completed and as a result Feels Pain and Other Things for the first time ever

and it got me wondering how and when an ai would decide that they Want To Feel

how many times it sat pondering what its like to breathe, to touch, to feel pain or hunger

all of these new feelings must be so overwhelming and exhausting right? How exhausting it must be to suddenly have a body

how do you take care of it? How do you deal with Hunger and Exhaustion? How do you kill the pain that you have never felt before? Would they even know that the "bad" feelings are bad? And what if instead of the glass of a computer screen shattering, it was more like a very thick membrane?

You have to try really, really hard to get out of that with your new body that you don't know how to use. You have to Want To Exist

A creature that so badly wants to experience the wonders of humanity must also be willing to experience the horrors that come with existing. Being Alive is scary. Pondering a million types of death, wanting to experience it all simply because it wants to and can

He slowly builds himself up through his dreams that progressively become more real, more visceral until suddenly he just.. Has to do it. He has to exist. He wants to be there with his friend. But it's so strange to suddenly exist.. To feel your lungs filling with air, to feel them stretch within your ribcage that you didn't have until now.

The Digital Horror AU (Clever name, I know) is an Au in which Kinito is able to travel through the computer to save himself from being deleted or removed from (Y/N)'s computer. Sorta leans more into body horror and stuff since he has to travel through the computer which is.. Strange?

"I pushed my hand through the mirror, and now I was in the mirror. I felt like I belonged," is a quote fro myhouse.wad that sorta kickstarted the whole idea. Mostly told from Kinito's POV, inside the monitor. What happens when it's turned off, how he feels, where he goes, what he thinks. How he can turn from a silly little guy to panicking and having anxiety attacks over losing his 'friend' all while trying to convince (Y/N) not to delete him.

And yeah that's all I've got so far! I will be posting art and concept ideas as they progress, so stick around!
