part 4 - seonghwa

Part 4 -  You woke up to the sun glaring into the room, you stretched and yawned letting yourself wake up and face the day, you rubbed your eyes whining a little at the sting. You forgot that you had cried last night, looking around you jumped a little seeing the sleeping figure on the floor. His small snores being the only noise you could hear throughout the room.

You smiled as you looked at his face more intently taking in his beauty, you knew you shouldnt be doing this you couldnt help but think of what your father would be saying if he was to catch you helping this merman find shelter.

You groaned and stood up quietly getting yourself ready for the day, flicking the kettle on that you had on your table for days where you felt too lazy to want to socialize with anyone, you made yourself a coffee, leaving an empty cup ready for if seonghwa was to wake up. Taking the beverage outside you looked out, enjoying the fresh breeze of the morning, something felt different about this morning you felt weightless, it was strange to you for you to feel this way. You smiled to yourself as you heard a noise from inside, you soon relised that seonghwa was waking up. You quickly went inside to mae him a cups of coffee and left it on the table hoping he would noice it and went back out to stand on the balcony. You smiled as you felt seonhewas warm presence next to you. You smiled before greeting him. “Good morning how did you sleep” you asked taking a sip of your coffee. “Is there anything youd like to do through the next few days, i cant see us being apart from one another for too long now, it seeks that we will be having to get to know each other more” you said shooting a soft smile his way. Seonghwa took a sip of the coffee and breathed a sigh of relief as he gave you a soft smile and spoke “i guess so, i know a beach around here that we could go too itd be nice to just enjoy life for once” seonghwa said. He felt the same feelings you was experiencing the weightlessness of his shoulders was something he would have to take time getting used to.

part 3 - seonghwa

Part 3 -  

You watched as the sky flooded with stars as you let your mind wander, flashbacks of your past flooding through your head as you sobbed.

You didnt know but seonghwa was watching you intently. He felt his own heart thumping in his chest as he lifted his hand placing it gently onto your back. Hoping the gentle gesture would be enough to comfort you. He knew this was wrong, he shouldnt be looking at you the way he was, he should be running far away as he possibly could. Your kind and his was never and according to everyone else in the world WILL never be able to live together in harmony. The gentle stroking that you felt from soenghwas hand left your heart thumping in your throat as he showed you this sign of comfort. You let the tears flow freely before turning round and looking into his eyes. You hoped the look in your eyes could show the words that couldnt rip through your throat in fear that you would not make any sense whatsoever. You nodded as you saw the look on his face soften and he nodded. You agreed silently together. All the questions you both had being answered together. You led him to the bed, sitting down and patting the side of you. You finally calmed down enough to speak. “I will keep you safe Seonghwa, I can only promise a few days at most before my father gets wind of something happening but i hope thats enough for you to find some energy and to gather what you need to move on” You said answering the question before it could even be asked. You both looked and watched as a smile spread across seonghwas face as he stood up getting ready to sleep on the floor next to your bed. Taking a blanket from the chair and a pillow. “Get some sleep, and thank you y/n” Seonghwa said before letting himself fall into a slumber. You tossed and turned all night, not being able to sleep much as you struggled to contain the flashbacks from flooding your memory, and hearing the way seonghwa whined in his sleep, you felt a pang of guilt hit your chest as you thought about how hard it must have been for him to keep running away from your kind. He must have been so exhausted. You finally let yourself fall into a slumber.

Part 2 - Seonghwa x Reader

Part 2

Seonghwas pov:

Just another normal day for seonghwa as he just swims around the whole kingdom trying to find ways to go up to shore but he always got caught by his fathers guards and right now hes currently on the way back to his father with the guards swimming behind him.

Guard 1: “ sir we found your son trying to get to shore again.”

Guard 2: “ we brought him too you so you can punish him.”

Seonghwas father arose from his throne and sighed dissapointedly “ son you know not to go to the shore” seonghwas father said to seonghwa with the hit of boredom in his voice as he was used to this every single day. “But father this isnt fair i deserve my freedom out of the kingdom too not just here!” seonghwa replied annoyed that he has no freedom outside of the kingdom but this was the final straw for his father as his father hit his trident down on the floor making a big bang. I will not have what happened to your mother also happen to you!” seonghwas father screamed louly making seonghwa look at him rolling his eyes “you say this every time father and im tired of this im tired of this kingdom and im also tired of you repeating yourself!” seonghwa shouted as he swam away quickly too quick for even the two guards to  capture him

As seonghwa swam to the surface he jumped out of the water changing into his human form with a big smile and taking in the air. Seonghwa loved being above the surface somehow it felt like he was at home but seonghwas smile immediately dropped as he heard a yell, looking over seonghwa noticed that the person that saw him was infact a hunter with all of the gear that he had so seonghwa got up right away and ran so fast until he saw a cabin with the doors slightly opened so he ran into there and looked behind him checking that the person didnt follow. Suddenly seonghwa felt a tap pn his shoulders making him gasp and turn around looking at a cute girl staring at him making him chuckle deeply “hey” seonghwa said to the girl infront of him. 

y/n pov:

You listened to the mans voice infront of you soon snapping out of your trance and now glaring at the man “ who the hell are you and what are you doing in my bedroom” you asked him sternly raising a brow at the man making seonghwa sigh and look behind him and at you again “well… i was getting chased by someone and i ran here because … well it looked safe” seonghwa said puffing out  his cheeks a little. You walked towards him trying to get a better look at the stranger in your room, you gasped as the gills shining under the light of the moon, you knew this was bound to be bad news but something inside you was screaming to help him. You knew this was something that was going to cause more grief than you wished for but the look on his face showed you something different, he seemed truly scared. “Youve been running away for too long havent you?” you questioned, your arm grazing over his and guiding him to sit on the chair by the balcony door. “I know we just met, but it seems we have something in common, you want to live a normal life, safely.. And i want out of this hunter life” you explained hoping not to scare him away. “I am just tired, I understand.. I have always been hunted, it seems your folks have got it out for us” Seonghwa explained to you.  “Yeah i could say the same for you, your kind killed my mother” you said sending a snarl his way.

“My kind, you think i really want this life, if that was the case youd be dead right now.”he spat at you, venom lacing on his tongue.

“You couldnt hurt a fly could you? You havent got the guts to do it” Seonghwa said.

“Want to bet, this could end badly you know right, i have blood on my hands already i wouldnt mind adding some more” you spat. “Oh sorry it seems we dont even know each others name, id like to know who im about to add to my list before ending their life” you spoke, a little break in your voice as you watched his face contorted in fear. His whole body stiffening as he watched the anger spill from your body.

“S-Seonghwa” he shakily said getting up slowly and walking towards the door. “I-im sorry” he spoke before standing out on the balcony looking at the horizon. You felt your heartbreak as he spoke, following him outside you rested your hand on his back. “No im the one that should apologise, how about we restart” you spoke holding out your hand and smiling at him. “Im y/n” you said shaking his hand and looking out at the view.

“Its beautiful isnt it” you spoke your mind travelling along the horizon as you both looked out. “I wish sometimes i could swap places, it would be nice to just have a life where i could wash away the sins that i have caused, i never meant to hurt anyone seonghwa” you spoke letting a tear fall down your cheek. You had never spoken so openly about your struggles before but something about his aura gave you comfort, you let yourself open up like a faucet, all your years of pent up emotions now flooding to the surface. - TO BE CONTINUED -

In a world full of mystical creatures humans and creatures used to live in harmony that was until a creature turned his back on them making them now rivals. You have been raised by your father as unfortunately a creature had killed your mother making you and your father despise the creatures so it turned you into what you are today.HUNTERS.

Today was an fun day for you as every weekend you are always out with your father and you very much enjoyed it because it was the only time he would stop talking about mystical creatures. Yes you hated them but every now and then it got annoying hearing the same things repeated over and over again. However you did enjoy the fishing lake but not as much as the beach… the fishing lake was very deep and there was a tunnel leading to the sea so youve always wondered what things could be living there.

As soon as you got to the lake cabin your father owned you you smiled getting out of the car and started walking towards your room “ hey y/n are you not going to come for lunch with your old father?” your father spoke to you practically pouting making you laugh at him “yesfather ill just get dressed and ill go get lunch with you” you answered back making your dad have a huge smile on his face. You walked upstairs and immediately put your bagon the floor next to your bed and sighed “ill come back for you later my friend” you spoke to your bed wanting nothing more than to just fall asleep from the long car ride. Once you got changed you headed downstairs to your father taping his shoulder making him turn around and smile at you “oh my dear you look beautiful” your father spoke out making you smile from ear to ear and thanking him before you both headed out to the cafe and getting something to eat.

You and your father had the time of your lives catching up on everything and even talking about some old past memories you used to have here. When you got home you immediately walked to your bedroom getting some clothes and went for a shower. Coming out of the shower you did what you do every night and start reading before feeling your eyes getting slightly heavy falling asleep till the next day.

You wake up the sun blinding you as you forgot to close your curtains after reading your book last night. Looking around you getting up out of bed to walk out to the balcony of your room taking in deep breaths and looking at the clear white blue sky. This was one of the reasons you still came here … you enjoyed nature actually you loved nature always wanting to be outside wether or not the weather is good or bad youd always love what the world gives you and you thinking this let a smile creep up on your face.

You stretched and heard your dad calling for you so you hurriedly closed your doors but leaving them slightly open before running downstairs meeting a huge smiling father “good morning father how are you?” you asked before sitting down and started eating what you assume your father had cooked up for you like he did every morning. “Good morning my pumpkin did you sleep well?” your father asked making youtube and nod “ i did father i hope you did too … isnt it beautiful weather outside?” you asked your father knowing he also liked nature he nodded and chucked “ ofc course y/n … i was thinking… why dont we go fishing today?” your father asked you making you stand up excitedly and nod. You loved spending time with your father but sometimes with his work its hard to do so any chance given youd always take it. As soon as you stood up you headed upstairs putting on some comfy clothes and headed back downstairs. “ ok father im ready” you said to your father making him take his things and nod before getting his shoes on and headed over to the late which was only across the little bridge outside of your cabin 

“y/n dont forget to be quiet for me… you never know what i might catch out here.” your father said to you as he started setting up his equipment making you nod and set up two pull out chairs of a bag for you and your father to sit on. You got all of your things ready and relaxed in your seat again feeling your eyes getting heavy. You always fall asleep because no matter how many times your father wont catch anything he still never gives up. You was about to fall asleep but your father shouted and screamed that he saw a huge tail in the lake making you groan as he has done this a couple of times “ father theres nothing there you say this all the time” you said to him but he didnt listen “y/n its a mermaid im sure of it! I shall catch it and kill it they are abominations to this world and no mystical creature should live” your father screamed at the top of his lung making you grit your teeth… this annoyed you because at home all he talks about is mystical creatures and how he saw it kill and drown your mother but you came here because this is a place he never talks about them till now so you stood up and walked back to the cabin, your father watching you “y/n where are you going im sorry!” your father shouted and apologised but you just walked into the cabin and straight to your room changing and laying on the bed closing your eyes 

Your father sighed and tried to look for the mystical creature but not seeing it anywhere he decided to reach in the bag next to him and start eating some food he prepared. Your father was relaxed until he saw another tail he dropped his sandwich before taking his binoculars and seeing it was infact a mermaids take but as he moved to look further along the body he saw it was a merman changing into human making him scoff and grit his teeth “ hey you?!” your father shouted loudly but as he saw the merman run, your father by the time he packed up his things quickly but the merman was out of his sight making him sigh and just sut back on his chair waiting for the merman to come back 

You was laying in bed relaxing and closing your eyes slowly drifting to sleep until you hear the doors to your bedroom open and close…it wasnt just any doors it was the balcony doors you sat up and looked around till you saw someone stood with their back facing you as if they were running from someone you could see the heaviness of their breathing and stood up going behind then and tapping his shoulder “ excuse me what do you thing your doing in my cabin and bedroom?” you said makingthe boy infront of you nearly stopping breathing he turned around slowly and looked at you. You was taken aback… the beauty the man behold was crazy everything about this man infront of you was perfect and you couldnt keep your eyes off of him.
