so helps wyll break the pact of course. and saves ulder ravengard. and we get wyll's blade of avernus ending where he and dysmas both go with karlach back to avernus and they all smoke hellblunts together etc

however. in a universe where he fails to save ulder ravengard - maybe just like, a few seconds too late - this (per the game always giving this result) ends with wyll breaking up with him so he can take over as grand duke or whatever.

heartbroken, guilt-ridden, and probably at an all time low with self-esteem (he'd ofc wonder if wyll left him bc having an ugly weird looking half-drow as a husband might make an issue for a grand duke) he would fall into a very depressed state, probably not sleeping or eating much.

this makes him distracted and exhausted and weak, which would make him later on lose his duel with orin. which means he is cursed to succumb to his urge over time and become nothing but a danger to everyone he cares about

so after the whole plotline of the game, he'd take the durge option to just. kill himself right there on the dock.

anyway that would suck good thing it doesnt happen

I will play them as Rook to romance him but ultimately in my canon they'll be a different person he meets afterwards. And also this story has Bart and Emmrich being married and gross about it (additional stuff: I'm thinking of setting it in the Sunless Lands which for the uninformed is the frozen wasteland south of the korcari wilds. I'll be making shit up. It'll be like the terror except I haven't seen that show. But it'll be in the snow)
