lily never threw away any of the notes james passed to her during classes, she kept them in a small, red box. but all of them were wrinkly due to her dramatic crushing of them in front of him; a regular yet dishonest show of hatred towards the boy whose name was scribbled on multiple pages of her journal, every time accompanied by red hearts beside it.

Transfem Sirius who doesn’t care if you think she doesn’t “look like a girl.” She was raised in a house where looking the part meant being miserable. She’ll take freedom over conformity any day.

it makes me SO ANNOYED when ppl favor sirius over james because “james is mean”.
like…did SIRIUS rescue snape from remus? i don’t think so. sirius literally targets snape for entertainment, canonically.
not trying to distance james from his flaws, but let’s at least be fair here. you could say you prefer sirius because james is annoying or arrogant. i definitely think he’s more annoying and more arrogant than sirius. but meaner? ruder? crueler? give me a break.
acting like little sirius was so innocent when really, he was the ideas guy and the instigator. james was the one who followed sirius’ lead. never the other way around. if sirius hadn’t started anything, james likely never would have hurt snape the way he did. again, not to distance james from blame. james is fully responsible for his own actions. but it’s ignorant to deny sirius’ role in the “bullying” when it’s obvious that james’ bullying came from a place of wanting to impress sirius (arrogant, annoying, etc.) while sirius’ bullying came from a place of CRUELTY. denying that is denying a huge part of sirius’ character which is his desensitization to violence and pain and his unflinching willingness to use violence as a means to get his way. it’s fascinant and depriving sirius of that just to make james some big brown sadist with a feminine sidekick?
not to mention how much it deprives of james’ character. james is a bit of a yes man. that’s clear from how he basically follows sirius’ orders. he’s not a doormat by any means, but he’s clearly overly trusting and tends to set way too much store by what his loved ones say and want. that’s literally indirectly how he dies. and getting rid of that fascinating trait of his just so you can have a villain character (when we have TONS of death eater fascist characters who would make perfect villains)?
it’s super fucking stupid.
victimizing sirius and then shoving all the blame for the “bullying” onto james in a fandom context where james is poc? kinda screams racism and white fragility to me. 😬😬😬

i had a dream that remus was a (hot) mailman that delivered something to sirius, and sirius immediately fell in love at the sight of him but said nothing before he left. so sirius kept ordering random shit online, spending legit thousands of dollars to try and get remus to come drop off a package again.. somehow remus eventually showed up (but not by dropping off one of the many packages, idk don’t ask me) i legit want to write a fic on it, but i would not do it justice LOL
pls lmk if someone writes this!! (if it’s not already written lol)

James being oblivious to wolfstar dating is funny, sure. But let’s be honest… James Potter would literally be the first to know. That man is attuned to Sirius like a damn emotional barometer. He’d know Sirius was in love with Remus before Sirius realizes it himself.
And Sirius? Sirius would tell James everything. Zero filter. No shame. Like, “Mate, I think I’m in love with Moony. His hands? Magical. His scars? Lickable. His eyes? Divine. His voice? Makes my knees weak.”
When they finally get together? Sirius would walk into the dorm, flop on James’ bed and be like (“TMI”what even is that??): “So you know how his mole is just under his left rib? Yeah. Tasted it.”
James: “I am begging you to shut up.”
Sirius: “Anyway, he whimpers when you bite his neck, it’s adorable”
James: “I regret every choice that led me to this moment.”
Sirius: “He makes this sound when you kiss his shoulder. It’s like—”
James, getting up: “I’m leaving.”
Sirius, following: “Wait I haven’t even told you about his thighs—”
James: “Lily! He’s doing it again!”
Yep. James would know.

Criticizing Lily Potter and calling her "stupid" for becoming pregnant at a young age overlooks several key facts:
1. Lily was not a teenage mother. Harry was born in July 1980, and Lily was 20 years old at the time. While that is young by some modern standards, she was legally and socially an adult, married by choice, and fully capable of making life decisions.
2. Reproductive justice supports her choice. Fundamental to reproductive justice is the belief that every person should have the right to make decisions about their own body, including if, when, and how to start a family. Lily chose to have a child with the man she loved. She had the means, the support, and the agency to make that decision. Undermining that choice is a denial of her autonomy and maturity.
3. People build families even in times of war. It is historically and globally common for people to create families amidst uncertainty, violence, and upheaval. Through war, drought, unrest, economic depression, love and family, and life persist. It is a very real thing that happens in the real world and we should not insult people who make the choices to have a family in conflict but protect their right to do so and work on creating a safer world for al families to exist.
4. Lily’s motherhood is central to the story’s moral core. Her sacrificial love, choosing to die to protect her child, is  the cornerstone of the entire series. Without that act of love, there is no protection, no Boy Who Lived, and no story.
5. Harry overcoming his complex grief is part of his coming-of-age arc. Throughout the series, Harry wrestles with the loss of his parents, feeling grief for people he never got to know. What sets Harry apart from Voldemort is his ability to process that pain with compassion. He learns to forgive the adults who failed him—Dumbledore, Sirius, even Snape—and chooses to love them in spite of their flaws.
Rather than allowing his grief to consume him, Harry finds strength in it. He chooses life, builds a future, and creates the kind of family he was denied.
To reduce Lily to a "stupid girl who shouldn’t have had a child" trivializes Harry’s journey.
