I don’t know how to explain it but the couples in the remakes seem like, feel like to me like their respective cities (& countries). Like I’ve never been to any of them but I imagine what they feel like and the couples deliver that:

Skam Italia (Rome)

Eva and Giovanni have this Mediterraneanness to them. They feel like a little breeze, they feel like the happy feeling of a warm summer day.

Martino and Niccolo have this vibranity to them. They feel like a loud but soft Rome night full of the smell of old and new.

Eleonora and Edoardo have this natural vibe to them. They feel like the first days of spring when the flowers are blossoming, they feel like the drizzling rain.

Druck (Berlin)

Hanna and Jonas have this soft energy to them. They feel like the silent morning after a long day of wondering around a big and crowded city.

Mia and Alex have this maturity to them. They feel like drinking wine at a cozy restaurant, they feel like a messy stability.

Matteo and David have this playful lightness to them. They feel like playing in the park on a chilly day, they feel like seeing a colorful graffitti.

Isa and Kes have this energeticness to them. They feel like getting lost in the streets, they feel like stumbling upon something unexpected.

Liv and Noah have this freedom to them. They feel like a day spent at museums buying a souvenir from every one, they feel like anything is possible.

Lucas and Eliott have this unlimited passion to them. They feel like a watching a scene from an independent movie, they feel like they can endure anything.

It took me about 84 years but here it is!

- Daniel loves it when Grace dances in the kitchen. It’s the cutest and most relaxed he has seen her, and he always stands so she wouldn’t notice him and watches her with a smile.

- after they start dating, he invites her to his football games.

- she hesitates but she comes out of curiosity and because she wants to show him some support.

- but it takes her time to feel comfortable around all that crowd and with the aggressiveness of the game.

- he’s really happy to knows she’s there though and it’s what’s most important to her.

- Daniel always reads her pieces in the school newspaper, and it’s always the first and main thing he reads in it.

- he literally flips through the pages each week until he sees her name, reads her piece and then he sometimes reads someone else’s piece.

- Daniel also starts helping Grace hand out the newspaper and of course, people actually pay attention to him.

- it’s surreal that one popular football player (usually Daniel but sometimes Jo of hes feeling nice) yelling in the hallway “yo, everyone, take a newspaper” to get a bunch of people willingly come up and ask for a newspaper from Grace.

- it makes her happy. And maybe she loves Daniel a bit more every time.

- At some point people just get used to reading the newspaper and there’s no need for Daniel to say anything because they willingly take one.

- each week he texts her or comes to talk to her about the subject her piece was on to discuss it with her, for better and for worse.

- Grace thinks it’s nice, aside from the times when he’s sure that an opinion that’s opposite to her opinion is right, which sometimes leads to an argument or even a fight.

- he’s not good at being mad at her, so those end with him stopping by her house with some food and an apology.

- if the fight is her fault she tries to find him alone, whether it’s on the football field or at his house.

- it takes her time to apologize each time she finds him because she’s not used to being wrong nor she likes it.

- he knows it and he doesn’t push her away but he also doesn’t act as if everything is normal. He just stays quiet and waits.

- Grace is more comfortable with showing her feeling or with writing them down so she usually ends their fight by writing down an apology but most of the time she apologizes by simply hugging him

- aside from that, Grace isn’t big on public pda nor is Daniel.

- they usually hold hands or Daniel might have his arm around her shoulders as they walk around the school.

- they also might kiss around school but it’s never more than a sweet kiss that lasts a few seconds.

- if the want to stay in, they usually do it at Grace’s house since it feels more like a real home than Daniel’s house.

- if they want to be alone though or if Eve is being too much (like opening doors without knocking and barging into Grace’s room to say something random), they’ll go over to Daniel’s for some privacy

- he likes his home so much more when Grace is there.

- she meets his mom a few times but the only interaction between Mrs. Williamson and them is a cold glance that makes it feel like she barely acknowledges their presence and a bit of small talk with Daniel, which also seems very cold from the side.

- after each time it happens, once they’re in the living room or in his room, Daniel holds Grace a bit closer than he did before his mother appeared.

- it’s not because he’s sad, it’s more about the fact that he appreciates having someone that loves him so warmly around.

- Grace knows the mother-son relationship is complicated and she makes sure to silently comfort him by leaning her head against his shoulder or cuddling into him.

- he doesn’t need comfort since a cold relationship with his mom is the only kind of relationship he had with her for most of his life, but Grace still does it and he appreciates it and loves having her close.

2.He was so soft and considered about her feelings when those guys scared her

3. He waited a year for her

4. He asked her to respect that he does not want to talk about his instead of lying even more

5. She just said pistacho was her favourite ice cream and he ran out to get it
