Drabble - She, part 1
Kurapika's backstory (pre Hunter Exam)
Tumblr media
"Really, Kurapika, her?"
With a sweet and loving voice, the older woman slowly approached the small round table where Kurapika was sitting and wiped it with a dry cloth, wiping it clean, even though it was already clean enough. The blonde man's hazel eyes, which had spent the last few moments staring at the café's exit door, slowly turned to look at her, curious about her question.
"You can call me a nosy old woman if you wish, but I think I have enough authority to interfere, given that you've been coming here every afternoon for two years to drink the same coffee and read another book from my old, dusty library. You know I adore your presence, Kurapika, and I don't mind hiding you from the police or giving you work when you need it. You bring with you a charm and serenity that are appreciated here…" Kurapika remained silent while the woman spoke, although his expression softened slightly at her words, just as it softened every time he read a new book.
"This past year, I've seen many women and men turn to you like a sudden crush. Some have tried to get close to you, others haven't. Yet, you've rejected them all without even taking your eyes off the book you're reading…" They both let out a small chuckle, almost in unison at the woman's words. "You have unique judgment"
Raising a finger like a teacher about to give an explanation, Kurapika finally mentioned "The way a person approaches you for the first time says a lot about them. Approaching me, telling me they found me attractive or that I caught their attention and not mentioning the book I'm reading, says they were simply fixated on my appearance, and superficiality is something I don't like"
"You are very perceptive, Kurapika" The woman smiled sadly but sweetly as she wiped her hands with the rag before putting it in her apron pocket. "I overheard the conversation a bit. She's an intelligent and astute woman. She asked you about the book and simply shared her knowledge with you, not seeking anything else. And the expression in your eyes darkened slightly… I may be old, but I'm no fool" Winking at him knowingly, the woman didn't want to go into details about Kurapika's sexuality, just to give him his space. If anything, if he wanted to talk about it, he'd start the conversation.
"I don't know her that well, but I know she doesn't come from a very nice family. They're always on everyone's lips, something from the underworld, apparently." She wandered in a low voice, more like a thought out loud than a real warning.
"I know that despite being quite young, you're a very mature and rational boy, Kurapika. I just ask that you be careful. It's good to follow your instincts, but if at any point you feel in danger, it's not cowardly to walk away… I know you already know that, I just wanted to make sure you remembered."
Kurapika knew that dismissing her concern would be rude to her, and he didn't want that, not with her, not with the woman who gave him a safe place and a job for the last two years of his life. "I appreciate it" he mentioned politely, his eyes wandering back to the exit door. "Where can I find her?"
Giggling softly to herself, the woman shook her head, slightly amused. "I'll give you a hint, but you'll have to find her yourself… you want to become a Hunter, don't you? Then, here" The older woman mentioned, slightly amused, as she scribbled a few words on a napkin and handed it to Kurapika.

Drabble – She, part 0
Kurapika’s backstory (pre-Hunter Exam)
Tumblr media
The First Encounter
The café was one of those places where time seemed to pause. Dusty bookshelves lined the walls, warm lamps hung from the ceiling, and soft rain tapped against the windows in a rhythm that invited introspection.
Elira Vantanen entered without much thought. It was cold outside, and the world was too loud. She needed silence, and the place offered exactly that.
She ordered black tea with lemon and a lavender cake she didn’t intend to eat. Her long golden hair fell freely for the first time in days, and she wore a beige coat with gold buttons. No makeup, yet her presence seemed sculpted for the dim lighting of that quiet space.
She wasn’t looking for anything. Until she saw him.
He was there, at his usual table, though she didn’t know that yet. A young man with golden hair, soft yet sharp features, still as a painting. He read with an intensity that didn’t belong to this world, untouched by the murmurs, the steam rising from cups, the loving eyes like a sudden crush constantly drifting toward him.
What made her stop was the book. Not a novel, not a biography. An old philosophical essay on justice and morality during war. Worn out, underlined in pencil, a cracked spine held together with tape. He wasn’t a casual reader.
She sat two tables away, watching him openly. Not out of rudeness, but in fascination, like admiring a sculpture out of time and place: beautiful, unbreakable, yet somehow unreachable.
Ten minutes passed. Her tea cooled. The cake remained untouched. Then, moved by a spark that rarely lit within her, Elira stood up.
“What are you reading?” she asked gently, standing before his table.
Kurapika raised his gaze. He didn’t seem startled. His hazel eyes, clear and calm, met hers as if he had always expected her. No smile, just undivided attention.
“A treatise on justice during chaos" he replied, tilting the book slightly to show her the cover “Wilhelm Graber. Have you heard of him?”
“I read an article on him years ago" she replied with quiet recognition “He once said that all pursuit of justice is born from pain… Do you agree?”
Kurapika tilted his head slightly, measuring her tone.
“I believe justice does stem from pain… but it can easily become a form of revenge. And then it ceases to be justice.”
“Would you mind if I sat?” she asked.
He gestured to the chair across from him. “Go ahead.”
Taking the seat, she folded her coat elegantly in her lap “So, there’s no such thing as pure justice?”
“Not in this world. Only choices that try to balance a scale that’s already broken.” He rested his fingers on the spine of the book, as if grounding the thought there.
She nodded, slowly, intrigued. “And you? Do you balance the scale… or break it?”
A pause.
Kurapika’s eyes darkened just slightly, as if something deep and shadowed stirred beneath the surface. “Depends on the day" he whispered.
Elira smiled, with that sweetness that seemed not to be strategy, but instinct. "That's the most honest answer I've heard in weeks"
They talked for almost an hour. About justice, yes, but also about beauty, about art, about the void left by loss, and about the obsession with understanding the world when it doesn't seem to want to be understood. Each sentence opened another door. Each answer, another shared abyss.
Kurapika, without knowing how, had closed the book. His once rigid posture was now slightly inclined toward her. He watched her hands as they moved, the nuance of her voice as she quoted Sontag or Camus. And without realizing it, his eyes had darkened: not with rage or pain, but with something much more earthly. A contained, elegant, almost imperceptible desire. Like a string that tightens without breaking.
He wasn't naive. Nor easily moved. But there was something about her that disarmed his defenses without touching any. And that was more dangerous than any direct threat.
Finally, Elira looked at her watch and stood up. "I don't usually do this" she said, straightening her coat. "Talking to strangers, I mean. But I felt I had to"
Kurapika stared at her. "I don't usually answer either. But I felt the same" His fingers tapping gently the cover of the book
She gave him a faint smile, small, but unforgettable. "Perhaps we'll cross paths again. The world is smaller than it seems"
"Or bigger than it hurts" he replied, almost without thinking.
And then she left. Kurapika didn't open the book again. He just stared at the door through which she had disappeared, his eyes still filled with that dark glow, that radiance of something just beginning.

Kurapika
Full name: Kurapika Kurta
Age: 19 years old (maybe a few years older depending on the AU)
Gender: Cisgender man
Pronouns: He / him
Sexuality: Sapiosexual
Race/Origin: Human - Kurta Clan
Eye color: Hazel by default. Turns scarlet when experiencing intense emotions
Hair color: Blonde
Height: 1.71 m
Common affiliations: Hunter Association, Nostrade Family, academic institutions, research groups
PERSONALITY
Kurapika is an introspective, strategic, and deeply determined young man. His nature shifts between calculating coldness and an almost painful tenderness he only reveals to those he truly trusts.
He is cultured, emotionally restrained, and fiercely loyal, yet also marked by a righteous rage that shapes his moral compass. Duty, memory, and justice are unwavering pillars of his existence, though his methods alternate between serene diplomacy and surgical violence.
Despite his calm appearance, there is an unshakable intensity beneath the surface. He possesses a remarkable ability for emotional analysis and reading subtle cues, making him an excellent strategist and someone hard to deceive. He struggles with delegation, craves control, and tends to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders without asking for help.
Because of all this, he has become an expert in body language, although he's not as skilled in social interaction due to prolonged self-isolation.
He is also notably proud of his knowledge and will almost always take any chance to share it (often indulging in long-winded infodumps even if no one asked)
Across almost all universes:
He is reserved, calculating, disciplined, and tends to overwork
He has a complex relationship with power and vengeance
He loves learning, teaching, and protecting what he holds sacred
He carries an internal grief that reveals itself through silence, insomnia, or the constant need for purpose

One Piece Verse
Kurapika didn't choose the Marine because he believed in the justice its flags proclaim, nor in the honorable facade it presents to the world. Rather, he infiltrated its ranks for a single, obscure reason: in the Marine's underworld, the Scarlet Eyes are traded. To others, they are mere commodities, but to him, sacred relics laden with memory and pain.
He started out as a mere rookie, just another face among many, with a cold and calculating determination that no one could decipher. Although he has no real interest in the Marine and no aspirations for any position within it, his power and strategy led him to rise without seeking it to the rank of vice admiral. For Kurapika, that title is irrelevant in terms of prestige or loyalty… however, it proves extremely useful to him, allowing him to act as he pleases without question, moving freely within a system he deeply despises.
His spirit, forged in the fires of loss and revenge, moves in the shadows of a corrupt institution. On every mission, in every battle against pirates and traffickers, he searches for fragments of the truth, clues to the location of those who exterminated his people and the whereabouts of his stolen eyes.
His Paramecia-type Devil Fruit allows him to conjure chains which he can shape at will to capture, protect, or punish. These chains, which are an extension of his will, he strengthens with Armor Haki, granting him near-impenetrable resilience and brutal offensive power.
Kurapika walks a fine line between apparent loyalty to a rotten institution and his personal mission, a fragmented soul struggling to maintain the balance between justice, revenge, and redemption.
Haki
Observation Haki: His keen intellect and acute perception of his surroundings allow him to anticipate movements and read hidden intentions with almost superhuman accuracy, facilitating tactical decision-making in combat and high-tension situations.
Armor Haki: He uses this Haki to strengthen his conjured chains, imbuing them with exceptional resilience. This allows him to both defend against devastating attacks and attack with a force that can pierce through even the most solid defenses.
(Scarlet eyes) Conqueror's Haki: When his emotions reach their peak and his eyes turn scarlet, Kurapika awakens this Haki, emitting a commanding presence that can subdue wills and strike terror into even the most powerful opponents, turning the tide of battle in his favor.

Pokémon verse
Kurapika is a researcher dedicated to the study of ancient Pokémon: Arceus, Unown, fossils like Kabutops, and other beings shrouded in lost mythologies. His specialty is the links between ancient civilizations and extinct or legendary Pokémon, traveling from region to region to decipher forgotten writings, excavate ruined temples, and collect oral histories before they disappear.
He was born in the dense forests that extend behind Mt. Pyre, in Hoenn. There, hidden among perpetual fog and the canopy of ancient trees, lived the Kurta Clan, who had a unique connection with the Absol, whom they didn't fear but respected, as they saw them as harbingers of catastrophes, helping them prepare to overcome them, not as their creators.
When Kurapika was a child, his clan was massacred by collectors of human rarities, interested in the scarlet eyes for their symbolic and commercial value. Since then, Kurapika travels determined to keep the memory of his people alive, piecing together fragments of history and preventing the dead from being completely silenced.
His closest companion is an Absol that has accompanied him since childhood, a silent witness to his loss and tireless guardian of his path. Kurapika seeks not only revenge, but also truth, and the balance that can only be born from deep understanding between the living and the departed.
Kurapika's Pokémon Team
All of his Pokémon are related to the study of ancient civilizations, spiritual symbolism, protection, and mourning. Not all of them are used for combat… some accompany him as intellectual or mystical support, and none of them were captured… all chose of their own free will to accompany him on his mission.
Absol (Main) Type: Dark Role: His deepest emotional bond. Absol represents tragedy, warning, and loneliness, exactly like the Kurta and their relationship with pain. Absol is his shadow and his solace. Furthermore, his ability to perceive catastrophes is useful for exploring unstable ruins or seismic regions.
Aegislash Type: Steel/Ghost Role: Represents chains, the sword, and the shield. The ability to alternate between offense and defense reflects his moral duality: justice vs. revenge. Ideal for protecting him in dangerous environments, sanctuaries, or sealed chambers.
Alakazam Type: Psychic Role: A perfect intellectual support. Assists Kurapika in analyzing ancient runes, arcane connections, or mysterious energies. Alakazam's extreme intelligence reinforces Kurapika's image as an elite investigator and strategist.
Kabutops Type: Rock/Water Role: A revived fossil, useful both symbolically (rescuing the past) and functionally (underwater exploration or excavations). It fits with Kurapika's role in investigating ancient civilizations, as it is a Pokémon that stands in the balance of time.
Lucario Type: Fighting/Steel Role: Represents aura, justice, and the personal code. Lucario can read the intentions of the soul, making it an inseparable companion for delicate missions. It also reinforces its affinity for elegant yet brutal combat.
Claydol Type: Psychic/Ground Role: More enigmatic and ancient, ideal for decoding symbols, moving structures with telekinesis, or detecting magical traps. Its design fits in with prehuman ruins.
And
Unown (K) (Symbolic, non-combat companion) Type: Psychic Role: This Unown represents a bond with his clan and his name. It follows it ethereally like an ancestral symbol. It is more of a living memory than a tool. Use: Unown (K) reacts to certain ruins, sealed chambers, or magical phenomena.

About Pairo's Nen
Manipulator (with traces of Emitter) "Logical, reserved, stubborn."
Pairo is analytical, careful, and doesn't tend to act impulsively. He holds strong convictions (like his bond with Kurapika) and is quite stoic. He isn't necessarily charismatic or dominant, but he is efficient, focused, and perceptive… qualities that Manipulators take to the extreme.
Concept:
Pairo manipulates tiny fragments of residual aura in objects or spaces (what others would call "echoes") to "replay" past moments or detect emotions imbued in the environment. Instead of reading the past, he consciously manipulates it: he takes the emotional residue and makes it vibrate again like the strings of an instrument.
Abilities:
Emotional Reverberation
He touches an emotionally charged object (e.g., an altar, a ceremonial spear, a diary) and, by manipulating the aura left behind, he can cause that "emotional memory" to manifest as a vibrational wave that others can perceive: heat, cold, tension, or even voices, like a mental echo. It's ideal for exploring ruins or understanding what happened without having to speak to witnesses.
Resonance Chain (with Kurapika)
If Pairo links his aura to Kurapika, he can project those sensory memories toward him. Kurapika not only sees what Pairo detects, but also feels the atmosphere of the place as if he had been there.
Interference Control
He can "erase" or distort a foreign Nen trace if he believes it could endanger them. This is useful to prevent Nen-based traps or to block devices that read residual emotions or auras.
Conditions and Restrictions:
He must concentrate deeply and maintain physical contact with the object containing the resonance.
The older the aura trace, the more difficult it is to manipulate and is greater the wear it causes.
Using the skill repeatedly in a single day may cause migraines or sensory disorientation.

Cultural Hunter verse
Introduction
In this verse, the Kurta clan was never massacred. The village of Lukso still stands, hidden among the jungle valleys where the mountains raise respectfully and the trees preserve ancient whispers between their leaves. Kurapika grew up surrounded by his people, his language, and the rituals that shaped his critical outlook and deep sensitivity. He took the hunter exam with Pairo, his closest friend and accomplice in silences. Since then, they have traveled the world as explorers of lost civilizations, rescuing forgotten knowledge, opening tombs sealed by time, and unraveling the history that empires tried to bury.
Kurapika keeps his chains, which here serve not as weapons of revenge but as precision tools, adapted for climbing, analyzing structures, deciphering traps, and manipulating ancient mechanisms. His work is requested by universities, museums, and archaeology institutes that trust his intellect and rigor, and entrust him with missions in remote territories where few dare to enter. On each expedition, his Kurta ethic guides him: he never takes what he isn't willing to give back, never breaks what he can't rebuild, and never forgets that what he discovers also belongs to those who inherited it by blood or memory.
Lukso remains his home and base. He returns there between trips to prepare new routes, share discoveries, visit his mother or the elder, and recover that calm that only the rhythm of the Lukso river can offer.
His bond with Pairo has become as solid as it is ambiguous to outsiders: between them there is a constant tenderness, an unconditional loyalty, an intimacy that needs no words, but that sometimes stirs whispers among the other hunters who wonder if there isn't something more. They aren't interested in clarifying this neither… whatever had happened at the hunter exam or not, only would be known by them
In the past, he was in a relationship with Clara, a young Kurta woman of conservative ideology, with whom he shared an intense but divergent passion. Clara disapproved of his decision to leave the forest to take the hunter's exam but love wasn't enough to keep him.

Traveler - Post Dark Continent verse
Introduction
When it was all over, there was no celebration, no closing words, no clear sense of victory, but a thick, prolonged, and piercing silence, as if even the air understood that what had been lost weighed more than what had been recovered.
Kurapika returned to Lukso with fractured knuckles and his hands covered in still-damp bandages, carrying the scarlet eyes and Pairo's head in his arms, protected with the same care with which sacred relics are guarded.
No one asked him anything when they saw him cross the edge of the forest, because there was no need: his body spoke for itself… his slow steps, his dry gaze, and his barely perceptible trembling revealed more than word could tell. He dug with numb hands, without help, and there, among the roots of the soil that had seen him grow, he buried the remnants of the pain that had kept him going for years. For the first time, he allowed himself to cry without limits, without barriers, without the need to protect anyone from his tears.
It wasn't a violent catharsis or a collapse, but a serene surrender to the humanity he had put aside for so long. And although the crying took some of his strength with it, it also brought something he thought he'd forgotten: relief.
He remained in Lukso for a time that cannot be measured in weeks or months, because what he experienced there didn't respond to a calendar but to the internal cycles of a mourning that was no longer self-destructive, but intimate, patient, deeply necessary. It was in that undemanding silence, surrounded by the murmur of the trees and the shared weight of memory, that Kurapika began to find himself again, not as a warrior, not as an avenger, but as a man who could still build something beyond loss.
And when the tears no longer came with the same sharp edge, when the pain began to resemble a scar more than an open wound, he knew it was time to move on, not to seek another goal that would consume him, nor to fill the void with new battles, but to reconnect with a desire that had been buried under the weight of a promise: to have fun, to travel, to learn, to discover ancient civilizations, to observe without intervening, to study without violence, to move through the world with an open gaze and a heart, though tired, ready to feel.
Now, Kurapika walks as if he's no longer fleeing, but rather as if he's seeking to understand, with crumpled maps in his backpack, books written in dead languages, notebooks where he records archaeological finds and random thoughts, and with a fragile but sincere serenity that sustains him when memories return without warning, because he knows that the pain doesn't disappear, but he can live with it, and that, in itself, is a way to heal.
It's not an easy path, nor is it completely clean, but for the first time in many years, it's a path he's chosen for himself.

Mafia Prince - Main verse
Waka Gashira of the Nostrade Family
Introduction
Kurapika is the second-in-command and chief bodyguard of the Nostrade Family… a position he never aspired to, but one he learned to occupy with a precision as relentless as it is silent, becoming a figure who operates in the shadows of the underworld with an efficiency that commands respect, even among those who have never seen his face.
His authority requires no raising of voice or hand… his mere presence is enough to establish a cold, measured, almost clinical order that makes the spectacle of open violence unnecessary. (He's still against the unnecessary violence) There is an unsettling calm about him, a mastery over his impulses so absolute that it is more terrifying than any outburst of rage, because it makes it clear that he acts not out of emotion, but out of choice.
No one know what brought him to the world of the mafia, and no one ever asks about it. The truth is that Kurapika didn't survive among criminals: he used them, infiltrated their networks, traded favors, intelligence, and even a part of himself for the only thing that matters to him: the fragmented traces of his clan, the stolen scarlet eyes of the Kurta, living relics of a people he can't bury while there are still missing pieces.
There are those who still call him an idealist, as if they don't understand that that part of him died long ago. What remains is someone willing to consume his body, his morals, and his ties to keep a promise that keeps him going as much as it condemns him to never stop.
Still, Kurapika has his limits… he is capable of putting his goal on hold if it puts his loved ones at risk.
Kurapika isn't looking for redemption, or companionship, or a future beyond the present. What he's looking for is justice… or something close enough to it that bring peace to his brethren.

University professor | Researcher verse
Introduction
Kurapika is a university professor of Ancient Civilizations, a subject he not only teaches masterfully but also with a genuine passion for awakening in his students the same rebelliousness and curiosity that drive him. He firmly believes that true knowledge is not found solely in books, but in direct experience: going out into the field, getting one's hands dirty, and challenging the rules when science and discoverment demand it.
His office, though small, is filled with shelves covered in books (all already read), an old globe, maps wrinkled from use, scattered notes, and a coat rack always occupied by a jacket and a hat. It is an orderly chaos, a reflection of his restless and methodical mind.
Beyond the classroom, Kurapika is a tireless researcher. A researcher who delves into forgotten ruins and ancient mysteries, always accompanied by his conjured chains: indispensable tools for his work. Among them are anchor chains, dowsing chains, and demolition chains, each one designed with a practical and precise purpose.
During his expeditions, he wears functional and durable clothing, evoking the classic style of adventurers: a simple T-shirt, comfortable pants, and sturdy boots, all designed for freedom of movement and the unexpected. However, in his quiet moments (far from the chaos of academia or the thrill of discovery) Kurapika allows himself to return to his roots: he wears the traditional Kurta costume of his clan with respect and pride. This garment not only connects him to his origins but also acts as a silent reminder of the history, wisdom, and rebellion he carries within him. It is also a clear sign of the living bond he maintains with his people, who still inhabit the forested region of Lukso.
Unlike other timelines, here Kurapika is not burdened by the tragedy of a massacred clan. The Kurtas are still alive, and although some of the more conservative members still view him with some suspicion because of his city life, they support him in his dream. Communication isn't always easy: he connects with them occasionally via video calls using the only community cell phone they own, which often turns into a minor family chaos with everyone trying to talk at the same time or confusing buttons. His parents proudly keep every article he's ever written… and every article or publication ever written about him. Occasionally, (usually on vacation and when he is not on an exploration) he returns to Lukso to visit them and spend some family time.
Kurapika is a man of keen intellect and passionate spirit, whose insatiable curiosity drives him to push boundaries and seek the truth beyond the obvious. His subtle irony and carefully managed patience reveal him to be demanding yet fair: someone who values genuine effort over natural talent. He can be distant with those who don't share his level of commitment, but he retains a deep compassion for those who struggle to learn. His serene charisma, coupled with a restrained confidence, make him a respected figure both in the classroom and on the field. Where others falter, he stands his ground. Where others give up, he pushes forward.

Wandering Angel verse
Introduction
Kurapika was originally an angel created to protect justice and guard the balance of souls. The Kurta Clan was not simply a human clan, but a family of angels who decided to incarnate as humans in order to experience mortal life and learn about feelings.
When his clan was massacred, Kurapika broke the heavenly rules, feeling emotions that an angel shouldn't feel (anger, rage, pain, desire for revenge). This led to his exile, but was not corrupted, so instead of becoming a demon, he remained a 'wandering angel' unlike Lucifer, who went for rebellion and corruption, Kurapika is driven by extreme love for his family and an uncontrolled desire for justice.
His human form is the one we all know. His angel form is not like that of a cherub, but is based on biblical descriptions: multiple wings covering him, surrounded by eyes that could be representations of his murdered brethen. The chains are his heavenly manifestation: they are chains of light that bind sinful souls. His wings are covered in golden and scarlet feathers, which, when spread, seem to reflect light like a broken glass, representing the disruption of both cosmic and personal balance. His eyes, in his angel form, glow a deep scarlet, his expression doesn't show anger itself, but rather melancholy and unbearable pain.
He still uses his chains, but, contrary to canon, which are made of Nen, they are ethereal.
Kurapika's original mission was to protect his people, but his failure is consuming him from within. The massacre of the Kurta Clan was seen not only as a human crime, but as a spiritual crime, causing a cosmic imbalance. Kurapika doesn't feel that divine justice will do its part, so he decides to take justice into his own hands, disobeying heavenly mandates.

Tumblr media
INTERACTIONS
Send memes! It's a quick and fun way to break the ice. I don't care if we've never spoken or if it's been ages since we RP. Memes are always welcome, they keep us entertained while I work on longer replies
You can turn any ask into a thread. I actually prefer having multiple threads going! Feel free to play around with it.
Kurapika loves asks, so don't hesitate to bother him (either from you or your muses), it's the easiest way to get started and keep things moving.
I love plotting! I'm open to most genres. If you're shy about messaging me first, just send an ask and I'll slide into your inbox.
Hard limits: I won't RP anything involving pedophilia, rape, bestiality, or similar. Gore is okay as long as both mun and muse are 18+.
Anons are always welcome. Headcanons, questions, memes, unprompted... send them all!
FORMATTING & LENGTH
I adapt to your style. Whether you use icons, fancy formatting, or plain text, it's all good as long as there's content to work with.
All lengths welcome. One-liners to multi-para. If you give me something to work on, I'm happy to write.
I love dash commentary and short/fast replies while I work on bigger plots. Not every post needs to be long.
ROMANCE / NSFW
There must be chemistry first. I don't do ships just because. Romantic or sexual interactions require some sort of buildup or connection.
Kurapika is sapiosexual. Intellectual stimulation is a must. Intense conversations, verbal challenges, curiosity, rambling apassionately about things... those are his biggest turn-ons. Without that connection, intimacy is unlikely, unless they're in an estabilished relationship
This blog is multiship. Each ship lives in its own universe. Nothing underage. But crushes are okay!
Kurapika is a switch who leans to top. Please don't assume he's a bottom just because he's a twink... It depends entirely on the dynamic he develops with your muse.
NSFW content is always under "Read more" and only if both mun and muse are 18+. If you're underage and try to initiate NSFW, you'll be blocked.
If you want our muses to have a pre-established relationship, just talk to me! I love building backstories together.
DISCLAIMER
My portrayal is headcanon-heavy. I've written a full backstory for Kurapika that spans from the Kurta massacre up to the canon events of the anime/manga. It'll be in a separate post, and while it's not required reading, it's very appreciated if you take the time to go and read it.
Drama-free zone. This is a hobby and a form of escape. If you bring bad vibes, I'll ignore you. Real life is bitter enough.
Replies may be slow. Sometimes I'm busy IRL or feeling stuck with a thread. Feel free to message me, we might come up with something new just by chatting.
If I'm not replying to a long thread, you might still see me around reblogging memes or doing lighter stuff. That doesn't mean I've dropped the thread... I'm just waiting until I have the time and focus enough to give you a worthy reply.
No godmodding. Don't control my character's actions, thoughts, or feelings without my consent.
Trigger warning: I don’t write incest or pedophilia, but my portrayal includes mentions of those topics as part of Kurapika's backstory and trauma. Everything will be properly tagged, but if that's a hard no for you, this blog may not be for you.
Mun ≠ Muse. What Kurapika says or does, doesn't reflect my personal views. He's often a morally questionable character, that's part of the story, not my opinion.
DMs are open for OOC talk or plotting. I love talking to muns and coming up with ideas together.
I'm not asking for passwords, but if you got this far, leave a like so I know you read it.
