After a small hiatus; it’s done: SkekMal’s blade from The Dark Crystal; Age of Resistance! 

I’m happy with it- considering I made it from scrap pieces of foam I had laying around. It’s absolutely a prop I’m proud of.

★ 1:1 scale replica from the one SkekMal uses in the show [Since the handle is never fully shown I had to take some liberties) 

★ Extremely lightweight and con approved. Weighting only 89 grams (3 ounches)

★ 70 cm (28 inch) total including the handle.

★ 100% made of craft foam, this NOT a 3D print. This prop is meant for cosplay but can be displayed. 

★ Everything is made and painted by me. I added a texture to show the blades being used. 

★ This one is for sale but I offer commissions too. Commissions can be edited in anyway you want, including paint job, size and material. DM me for more information! SkekMal’s blade take about a month to manufacture with rush-orders available. I do other fandom-props too, just ask :3!

My biggest hobby in the world is sewing and making props. I’ve been doing this for many a years and I take pride in my work. I am however, a hobbyist. 

All my props are con safe! They are made from EVA foam with Worbla details and all painted by hand. I do NOT use a 3D printer.

Blessed to be able to use this new paint, it’s actually very metal-like and gives it that extra lil’ something.

Of course this is just one layer and I will be adding more, plus the gold details, the details on the grip and fabric. Still a big WIP but i’m fairly happy with how it looks considering I made it from scraps I had laying around. 

This prop will go on sale once done for a very very low price!

It’s not completely dry yet.. But I’m actually pretty happy with it so far considering it’s 100% made of scrap foam I had laying around. 

The only thing I bought was a new primer.. which actually managed to make it pretty sharp. I’m waiting for that to dry so I can paint it. Of course it’s not supposed to be black. 

Very excited to start on the Trial By Stone blade and the Dual Glaive. I already started a little on the latter and it has a magnet system so it can be one or two blades!
