I think I was going for like an 80′s Shojo look in that first one and she’s wearing like some sort of space suit, I don’t know. Maybe a plug-suit?

And I think that kid with the long hair was inspired by VV from Code Geass (I think I was re-watching it at the time)

Oop haven’t posted here in a while :s More unfinished stuff from 2015 :v Man, that top one I was really into; I sketched it, did the line-work and started colouring, but there was just so much going on I didn’t know what to colour what, so just set it aside :/ I think I was doing it because I really like those pieces people do with a lot of stuff going on everywhere and wanted to do something similar 

Also, I was having fun with that second one; I wanted to draw something with “something going on”, but never got past the sketching stage

Surprise, more 2015 stuff :v (Don’t worry, at this point, I’m past half way on the 2015 work I plan to post) I don’t mind the way that zombie dude looks, but I just kind of lost interest in finishing him :/ I think that dude in the suite was like a rip-off of Pootan from Cromartie High I guess that bottom piece I coloured is close to finished, but I just don’t really think it was good enough quality to share on my main art page :s

2015 stuff ...again That colour one actually looks pretty much finished, all that really needs doing is like shading and lighting and stuff :v I just don’t think I was happy with like the neck because that angle is really annoying,also the clothes folds aren’t the best :| That beneath perspective one isn’t bad I suppose. I kinda like that last one, sort of like a sci-fi thing going on

Some more unfinished stuff from 2015 This time, there’re some that actually have some progress made on them :v The dude on the chair was supposed to be a dude cruising the internet or something, but the way I was doing the “shading” wasn’t really exciting me so I just put off finishing it. I might revisit it eventually. I liked the pose of that girl one, but the clothing isn’t the best and that colour palette is just awful, so I never really finished it :s I think she was actually going to be a tarot card (I was thinking about drawing a set) and she was going to be the hanged man, or whatever it is, so it’s actually upside down here, but that’s just how I was drawing it :/

Sketches from 2015, part 3 I guess

That first one I call “Band Boy” who I tried drawing with as many instruments as I could

That one with Goku and Sonic was a rough idea I had for something, which came from the many similarities the 2 series share, such as: - super transformations with golden hair, both called super - 7 magical items, dragon balls/chaos emeralds - characters with similar personality traits/roles, in my mind:    - goku = sonic    - piccolo = knuckles    - vegeta = shadow    - krillin/bulma = tails    - trunks = silver    - chi chi = amy rose    - 17 = rouge    - yajirobe/korin = big the cat    - yamcha = vector the crocodile    - tien = espio the chamelion    - chiaotzu = charmy bee

More 2015 sketches B) “Take the moonlight by the tail” are lyrics from the Berserk (1997) ending song, “Waiting so long” by Silver Fins, which I really like ...even if it is sung in bad Engrish :v

How am I going to do these posts?

In an ideal world, I’d be posting one drawing at a time, but because I’ve got such a back-log of unfinished drawings and sketches I want to get through, I don’t think that’ll be the case. No, I think I’ll have to be posting multiple images at a time until I start catching up to present work :/

So, let’s get to it. Starting off, these are all of the (digital) drawings I have from 2014 that I think are decent enough to share. I said this was going to be a sketch blog, but I still want at least SOME quality :p

Not the firmest grip on how fabric folds; still need to work on that a bit.

Now, you might be wondering why there are 3 different versions of this Minotaur; well let me tell you why that is. Originally, I just drew the female one, but then thought, what would a male one look like? So, using the original as a template, I proceeded to draw a male one, but oh no! The file was lost :( So, I set about redrawing it with a previous save, this is the third one. Miraculously, though, I was able to retrieve the original male somehow and that is why I now have 2 different versions of him. Also the female.

I was really liking this girl, but I guess I just lost interest along the way and stopped working on her :/

Also, here’s like a fish dude thing. I’m pretty sure it was inspired by a cartoon character who was like a fish walking around on land with a fishbowl full of water on his head like a helmet, but I just can’t remember who he is or what cartoon he was from :s

So, that’s it from 2014, my next drawings I post will probably be from 2015 :) Oh, and this’ll mostly be digital stuff for a while. If you want to see some of my older traditional stuff, I’ve made some albums of my sketchbooks over on my Facebook page if you want to have a look :) Though I’ll eventually get around to putting traditional stuff on here as well.

I made a sketch blog :v I have another art blog where I try and put finished work (Rilenz Art), but because my rate of actually finishing stuff isn’t the highest, I figured I might as well make a blog where I can put my rougher stuff that I haven’t ...”finessed” yet. Anyway, enjoy :) Hopefully I’ll be able to keep this reasonably active :|
