"Well it's flattering to know that people think I can dress myself." He jokes. "But I don't really see myself as some sort of style icon, if that's what you mean."

"AGRESTE, and fashion, to me, is a ode to my mother. Some of my earliest memories were playing dress up in her closet and pretending we were superheroes, knights, defenders of the galactic universe. Pretty silly but they're some of my favourite memories with her. I think AGRESTE really is a reflection of her, and my father's artistry, so I hope I can do them credit as their son, in fashion."

Agreste's mother, Emilie Agreste the world renowned jazz singer and songwriter, passed away in 2012 following a private health battle. Her legacy continues in her son, husband, and her foundation they established last year, which provides clothing for children below the poverty line in France.
