Sketch Party PH presents Volume IV: Ayala Sketch Walk (on September 13, 2014 from 1:30pm - 5:00pm). Meet-up will be at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Ayala Triangle, Makati. This is a FREE event. 

Don't forget to bring the following: 1. favorite art material (any medium) 2. sketch pad 3. umbrella 4. water and snack 5. pocket money 6. extra shirt 7. picnic blanket 8. and of course, yourself!  We prepared activities for you to enjoy with fellow art enthusiasts! Volume II: Manila Sketch Walk

We met up in front of SM Manila's National Bookstore by 1PM and after gathering, we proceeded to our first stop, the San Agustin Church. The first activity was to draw the architecture of the place using the right hand and left hand which displayed inventive creations.

After presenting their work, we proceeded to our 2nd stop, The Manila Collectible Co. They gave us a mini-tour and a brief history lesson as well. Afterwards, we did our 2nd activity: Manila Collectible Co. Shopping Spree and 3rd activity: Portrait drawing.

We headed for our 3rd stop after which is at The Chinese Garden located at Luneta Park. We did our 4th activity, portrait drawing, but in a more personal take because we did it by partner.

We proceeded to our last destination, the Manila baywalk, to do our final activity and mini-contest. All's well that ends well! We were all tired from walking but it was definitely new experience for each of us.

Volume I: Sketch Party PH x Cool Beans Cafe

Where: Cool Beans Cafe (thank you for sharing your space!) at Maginhawa St.

When: December 7, 2013

The participants met up at McDonald's Philcoa and went to Cool Beans Cafe together. Introductions were made then we started the party around 2pm with a game we call, "5 minute drawings". Each participant gave a topic/theme and everyone must draw what they can think of about it under 5 minutes. The topics they gave us ranged from your favorite movie scene, mystical creatures to what is porn?. Haha! Very unusual.

We had a 5 minute break after and continued the party by doing portraits of each other. We exchanged partners every 10 minutes. This gave us the time to be more comfortable with each other.

We capped off our day by doing 2 rounds of pass the drawing. In a way, it turned out to be our little memento of Sketch Party PH's first volume.
