Is it okay if I ask you some more questions? I noticed you only called your Rook, Rook- do you have a name in mind for them? You also mentioned them getting their spark ‘back’ did something make them lose it? 😥 Either way thanks for answering my other ask -🫶

(I'm so sorry this took so long! Thank you so much for taking interest in my Rook, and omg LOF buddies!!! ❤️) Long story short, a small group of Venatori were trying to make a strong super-human they could control. This didn't work and were stopped. Little Lux escaped while the commotion was going on, later on ending up being adopted by a local hermit lady. Now the experiment did still have an effect on Lux, as when for example they were to feel very strong emotions "adrenaline" would kick in and they would go into a bit of a frenzy. (Like they would be able to break a table if they were too happy, sad or mad). The lady did help Lux but more so in, surpress those emotions, kind of way. This later on left Lux to use battle as a way to let off steam. (Which the aftermath is demonstrated in the picture). Little side note, them and Tash work on their anger and help each other out when it comes to emotions :D As for why The Lords of Fortune made their spark go back, well after a while the lady had decided her job at taking care of Lux had run it's course and she left. This left them deeply depressed, thought she was kind and took good care of them, she never really bothered to socialise Lux or teach them much about how things function in bigger cities. This left Lux struggling for years and with the "adrenaline" created many problems when it came to people and jobs. Until they joined The Lords, that one mission with Isabela made them hopeful and feel like they were finally a part of the community.

Omg thank you so much!!! ❤️ And to answer your question, my Rook is a part of the Lords of Fortune! When they first joined many avoided them as they had a not so pleasant attitude, but one day Isabela invited them on a one on one adventure, after it, it felt like Rook had some kind of spark back in their life. Since then they are a joy to be around, and I also thought it would be nice to showcase that with this (very rushed) art work :D
